I like this game! My daughter first started playing this at school, and she has loved it ever since! It is great and very easy to use. There are many blocks, characters,backgrounds etc. The only thing that could be improved, is the parental controls. They use very simple maths like 50+1. But apart from that, it's great and if you're thinking of downloading, definitely do so! Props to the creator(s)!

Very impressed, I got the book from a shop and hadnt realised there was an app to go with it at first. The app seems very good and alongside the book it's the perfect pairing to get my lovely 5 year old that is all about computers and gaming interested in the 0's and 1's as it where, hehe. And the fact it's a free app 👌 can't go wrong.

Very limited. Since there is no scratch app for mobile devices, me and my friends wanted to use Scratch JR to compete in our own mini game jam. However there are many issues, like when you draw a line too close to another line, it automatically joins the two lines, meaning you have to space everything out like a sprite-sheet and move everything around when you are finished. There are also no clones, and I dont mean duplicating sprites! There's more I could add but I'm running out of space.

My experience was pretty good, it was easy to do my first project as there is a book on top left of the screen which has examples of projects. and i find clear to teach kids, bugs are clear and explained on the book what are they for. But i like it on my computer not on the phone.

My daughter loves this app. Unfortunately, she spent time making a series of videos for a class project that are unusable. The only 'export' options is to share via email and the file sent is a .sjr file that's specific to scratch and not recognizable by literally anything. There's also zero way to access this work via desktop. And if you go into the app via another device (like a parent's phone) there's no way to log into an acct to recover these projects. Super disappointed.

Fun but something is quite different... The sprites are only 4 available and we want more than 4 sprites. I mean why only 4? Also while drawing, I sometimes draw lines but it automatically connects to another line which makes it a bit worse than Scratch. Also please add a few blocks (not much but at least a few would make me happier).

The app is great the only problem is that when I want to make more slots, I mean more than 4, it doesn't let me. I tried several times to fix it but won't work. So please fix this problem. And also I heard that in your app you can make games but I don't know.

We tried but my son really prefers Minecraft education. He's very smart (8 years old), so we decided to skipped all of the scratch and went directly to raspberry pi web development and he's making websites in no time. My advice to other parents is to code along with kids, make errors, change lines on html and CSS and see what happens on live server. That's where fun is all about!

I got the advise from my computer teacher to play this to improve computer coding and stuff and when I downloaded this it was awesome!The only problem is that whenever I make a project and try to open it,it doesn't work maybe it's a glitch or something but it's very annoying this game is perfect but pls fix this problem

Let me just make something very clear: this is NOT Scratch, and if you're looking for a mobile version of said engine, you will not find it here. Scratch Jr. is a good app for what it is. It's meant to be a beginner coding engine for kids 7-, and that's exactly what it is. Nothing here is as advanced as Scratch 3, and that's the intent. TL;DR: Stop hating on this app for not being something it was never meant to be.

good job man I liked👍that.I like the jump block.good app but it still needs work.need more sound blocks and a new version of paint 🎨 editor. it need some operator blocks especially the choose random number from a number to another one. anyways the developers did a great job. to make my stars 5 please do all the things I said🙂thanks again🙂 by the way I am 9 years old

Good... But i have an issue I try to install this app in my child'tab, but i couldn't.. it shows some msg like " this app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of android". Why? It doesn't work on android 15+?

this is very hard to use because there is no text or no code from which the child can learn and the main thing is blocks only from which the child will learn in future. and there are recordings in that or no text code. and what do I say now about this app who is going to come in class 4 or 5 because in four or five the codes are there the blocks are there to learn the background the add new extension at new Sprite and new backgrounds these things are there. thank you for taking my review .......

This app helped me a lott ! This the only app I used to practice and also have during my exams ! Thank you to the person who thought some thing good for us ,he/she is indirectly helping us with something.

Really great introduction to the scratch universe for young kids and a perfect to introduce the basic knowledge of coding. Having some problems downloading and sharing projects between devices on Androids though. I can send the email, the format of the project (.sjr) isn't recognised by the device or the app once downloaded though.

Yes this the most helpful app I used for my final term exam and I finally got full marks just because of this app I am very thankful to the person who was thinking very much about us.

I'm trying to make a project called: "Scratch the singing cat", a fnf like game but there is broke stuff in a KIDS GAME. 1. Zooming in in character creator is glitchy. 2. I can't scroll. It only let's me drag frames. 3. This glitch is the worst in the app, again, I couldn't add a 5th Frame because my screen was filled with the frames. So I reopened the project then once I got back in, look.. all my hard work was corrupted. Into the trash. Please fix these things and I will re-download.

I'm giving it 3 stars Because There is 2 Bugs 1.Whenever I drag the object on the direction I want and when I leave. It stays in wrong area for no reason (it fixes after many tries) 2.The home button does not work. (Sometimes) BC when I clicked the Home Button then It stays on the direction that has been put wrong so. THESE BUGS ARE HORRIBLE NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY IT UNLESS IF YOU WANNA GET RAGED AND DESTROY YOUR DEVICE BY JUST 2 BUGS FIX THESE PLEASE!! I WANT MY ROBLOX GAME HAVE NO BUGS😡

Scratch jr is pretty good but theres one bug. on phone the buttons are either jammed together or very apart and they are tiny. Also when i select a text box to type theres the same window popping up behind then it disappears when i stop typing. Its great exept on phones.
