Screen Orientation Control

This app is perfect! It allows me to click a convenient button in the notification bar without relying on Gyro Sensor to rotate, and it can override other apps' defaults, so they dont rotate unexpectedly. The design is easy to read and no intrusive ads or designs, and runs in the background, with the notification bar, and many other things, being a setting. Another way to take some control of your android that Samsung doesnt give you!

A life saver. I got a dead spot on my screen that blocks some very important buttons on apps, but using this lets me avoid the dead spot. Being able to stay in portrait mode while lying on my side is very nice too. My one suggestion would be that once the sensor settings are stable, I'd like to see the addition of one that allows other apps to set portrait or landscape, but ensures that the sensor can be used to flip it.

App does what it's supposed to. But it's always running in the background unless you force stop. This causes my Pixel 8 to lock on portrait when looking at photos/videos - landscape won't work. Also severely impacts check capture feature on mobile deposit apps. Another thing to consider is when using this app, biometric (fingerprint reader) authentication won't work. No fault of the app - it's doing what you asked it to.

A recent update has removed much of the functionality which made this app great. I therefore reduce my 5-star initial assessment to 2, Commensurate with widget size reduction. The klugey work around suggested is that, klugey; Where I had the performative , easy ability to change my orientation of screen in a moment, I now have to launch the app and do the same, depending on the context this is worse, and can result in losses that would otherwise be avoided. I would still recommend with proviso

This app is great. The only problem I can find is that there is only the ad supported version. The ads are minor, but I would gladly pay the dev a few dollars to remove them.

Easy to use, and gives the best options for orientation. Nothing more to say. It works flawlessly.

this is the best app I've ever gotten ive been trying to play on my mobile with portrait on for 2 days and this app has helped me it really put my screen in portrait while playing the app and this app is going to be a five star thank you so much for creating this app❤️❤️

I got this for the coloring apps I love but are always stuck in portrait... couple of games were vastly improved by this app as well... love it, thanks so much

Gotta love when it completely stops working, rendering the app itself into a worthless ad platform.

I used this mostly when I need to watch Netflix or other ott shows in potrait and sometimes when I use power bank I just make my display upside down so that the chargeing pin stays on top not on the bottom.

Best app of its kind out there. Other apps always have some quirks. The only situation when it works funny is with youtube app, when switching to the popup picture-in-picture and back.

works well for me, straightforward and no issues 👍🏼 I use it so I can stand my phone upside-down with the charger cable coming out of the top.

Good. Finally i'm found app can override system orientation to reverse screen orientation 360 degree completely 😭. Useful for me when inserted USB OTG.

Not happy with forced updates. It wasn't broke, so why am I forced to update it? This app literally stops working and the only way to continue is to update. it's so inconvenient. I'm gonna look for something else.

finally! fk samsung and android for not allow flip portrait mode by default. easy now I can use phone in flip potrait using charging. thx u dev who make this app.

This is the best app for me making the orientation get changed for the study app and helps me a lot. Thanks for making such a beneficial app for everyone.

In comparison to other screen rotation apps which I have installed in the past, this one functions much better. In the past I used other apps where you turn off the screen and when you reopen them, the predetermined schedule will show automatically (which is really annoying). With the specific app, you can choose whatever app can function in whichever way you prefer.

I would be cautious about using this app. I used it only 2-3 times over the period of a few months, always for a short time and force closed the app after I was finished. After I used it today my phone now randomly switches apps into a sideway display while minimizing the app to a smaller ratio. Orientation Control was off and force closed. I uninstalled it now and rebooted the phone; I hope I won't have any issues anymore..

Love the app but don't do ads. Be willing to pay for the app to remove ads. Is there an option? Five star app otherwise.
