Scribbl - Photo & Video Effect

Runs slow as heck even on high-end phones. Very expensive monthly for the offering. The monthly price at most should be a one time cost. It forces people to look elsewhere for other options or for less especially when the app crashes or loads the videos and won't process them. Worth the try definitely. The subscription? Well, it depends on the number of videos and your level or knowledge of editing. Wait.... Does that say $60 a month for this app?

They really need to add emojis or basic shapes that people would commonly use, think musical notes, numbers, ect, to add more flexibility. I think they should consider a "long press" as a "fill", like using a fountain pen, so you can fill areas easily and intuitively, then tou shoil be able to move you finger after selecting the "width" of the fill area so make thinker lines as an added bonus, again, intuition should be your goal. Unfortunately I think its extremely limited in its current form.

When I try to work on a video, it will say, "You will be working on *however many* frames. Do you want to continue?" So, I select "yes," and then it says,"Importing frames - 0% done. " immediately, the box will disappear, and the app goes back to the home screen. Nothing ever happens. I've tried different videos of different lengths. The app is basically useless. I am unable to do anything.

Amazing app. It's a lot cheaper than purchasing popular editing software brands and it's portable and easy to handle. I am aware that the Video Editing is still in Beta Testing but I think the video should be moved up a bit to allow us to use the frame scroller more easily. Every time I've attempted to use it, it rarely actually works and ends up putting an extra graphic on the video that I have to remove. Other than these small changes that should be made, amazing app.

I purchased the pro version, it's ok... but I sort of regret it now. I cannot edit a layer shape once drawn, neither can I erase a portion of it... or even complete layer for that matter. Zero editing (correction) options in terms of shapes once drawn. Still, I won't opt for a refund... I just hope you guys add such options. You're a Indian startup... I wish you all the best 👍

Very cool app , I'm just starting to use it , so far very impressed , some very basic tools to use ,. There are so many possibilities with this app with hopefully tons of added features in the future!! Like ..neon shapes, faces , symbols, half circles etc , or a feature for when you create a line it automatically smooths out the lines?? Just a few ideas there ! But carry on with this lots of potential here !!

Launched the app to test it prior to buying the full version. Within the first 5 minutes of usage I received 3 video ads in foreign languages I couldn't understand and no way to close the ad (no matter what you click you are redirected to publisher site). So yeah, sorry but I can't pay if I can't even try to make a single video, hope you stop with the ads greed (or at least give a trail week or w.e because this is unbelievably greedy). Good luck with the next potentialy paying customer.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I'm just trying the beta scribbling into the videos for now and am really happy. Would be awesome in future releases if you could later take the video away as well to leave just the drawings on top of the frames. The ads are not in the way btw. I saw a review complaining about the ads but they're not intrusive as they wait until you finish your work so.... I mean if that bothers you then buy pro I guess. Anyway 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 from me

my experience with this app overall was average. maybe even below average. don't get me wrong, it runs well and you can make smooth animations but there are plenty of cons. you can only edit 20 seconds worth of animation. you can't edit the fps you wanna work with. i usually work with 24 fps but the app overall has less frames which makes it harder to make even smoother animations. the app lacks layers too. and even less brushes. it has potential just keep going to the right direction. peace.

I've paid for and used the premium version for 4 months now. Love the simplicity of using the neon glow but the options are very limited. Cant control amt of glow. If u erase a segment, pieces will still show on final video (even tho its completely gone form editing frame) If this app had flip-a-clip like options, it myt be worth it. $32 a month, cant do that anymore, just too much.

Still trying it out, so don't have a full review yet. So far I like the features and can't wait for the drawing effects to no longer be in beta. I would like to add doodles and my own custom doodles all in one. Will update once I've used it more.

Sends unsolicited ads through push-notifications without an in-app option to opt out. I was interested in making a pro purchase but I feel put off by a lack of consideration and politeness i.e. the way the app is set up comes across to me as having a forceful marketing strategy. However, I am impressed seeing you get this far in developing and promoting this product, keep going.

I really like the app. I just wish we could choose the frame rate to edit in. It would make some scenes smoother and quicker to create. Having to draw the exact same line or animation on 30 frames just to have it in 1 second of the video is a bit excessive. If that could be fixed, definitely a 5 star! Very cool :)

This app is great but quite a bit of hardwork on a normal Android phone. It's time consuming and requires a ton of effort to draw each and every frame, especially without the accuracy & swiftness of a stylus. Still love it though. The time limit needs improvement. Would be better if they upgraded it to atleast till 30 seconds?

It is good. But there is a bug ithink or glitch where the scribble is late into the action. I used the beta vertion where i am the one who will create a scribble. And i think the main video is broken because the music is late to. I think it is in the loading where every frames are being transfer to the app. Over all it is very beautiful and easy to use. Very direct. I wish there was something like it starts from big to small.

I love this app. I always thought how difficult it would be to do all this stuff but it isn't ... Initally, it seems very hard but after watching the tutorials and trying it out myself, it is very fun and interesting to do. This is an awesome app! The only thing I really hate is the frequent popping up of ads. That really sucks! Otherwise, I would've given 5 stars🙂

I like this app a lot, I was going to give it 4 stars because I wanted somethings to be added but I gave it 5 bc why not Things I would love to see: - tracking feature when you draw something in a certain place it's stays there unless u change it. - a feature where you can copy the same drawing u did before but can resize it. - the new update is very dope but something I would add to it is an option to add your own animation so u can use them later.

I understand that all game developers need money, and I was angry with The last review, but I think a better way to use a "pro" or "unlimited" shouldn't limit the original use of the app, it should lock a few options like sharing a dance, or using some of the quick scribble tools, but to limit the original reason of the app, recording and editing, just seems a little unfair but overall the tools and how the app runs is very clean, I just dont like the idea of limiting the amount of recording tim

Finding image/video from phone is too difficult because there's no option to sort nor to access the in-phone file manager. Moreover, I faced 4 ads before even getting my first image ready. That's the reason I prefer PC softwares, over Android's. I understand you make through ads but you don't care about users' conveniences in the process.

It's so unfair, the fact that you can only edit 10 seconds of a video is sooooooo disappointing, honestly. You have to buy the pro version just so you can edit the full video, I downloaded Scribbl since I wanna edit, after I downloaded it, I was literally dying because of how happy I am, until I saw the limit, oH mY gOd, a waste of time, I ain't ever gonna buy that.
