I love the app but there are some big pain points: 1. the item photos often don't show design details and full tags. I want to know the model, if any, and see the brand sizing and composition. 2. The cart is emptied after a few hours if left unattended. Very annoying. 3. can't exclude from search. I want to exclude some materials and brands. 4. There's one big favorites list, can't create separate lists.
I have ordered 2x, and I was very pleasantly surprised by both orders. The clothes came individually wrapped in bags, and with Sellpy tags. You can find some great deals! But beware that it is certainly not same day delivery... in fact, they take a while to send tour items. Expect your delivery approx. 2 weeks after ordering (in my experience). I haven't had to return anything yet, so I can't speak to that process.
edit 12/13/2025: if i try to apply filters for mys size and pricerange it's just not applying it. even after restarting :( ------------ great app, and I'm so happy that i can shop second hand in peace without getting spammed by sellers with private messages😅 HOWEVER, it would be amazing if there was a feature of doing different wishlists or lists in general so you can organise clothes after outfits you might want to create or clothing styles that you like. maybe even viewable by other users.
A wonderful site to purchase and sell secondhand clothes! So many options to choose from since items are collected from many countries in Europe!
Great concept but scrolling stops after like 15-20 items. My partner had the same problem and it randomly disappeared. @ Support: No, I won't write you an email describing the problem further, I just did above. Edit 1: I found a (temporary) solution. You have to create an account. If you use the guest account you get the issue above. Still should be fixed.
Great generally. Not happy when a delivery to budbee messed up, I lost my money and didn't get what I ordered
An item I'm watching has been "reserved" for 5 days now (at least) and I've reached out to customer support twice trying to get them to look into this issue. They seem to think someone is keeping this item in their cart but according to their own system that shouldn't be possible longer than 12h. The item is clearly "stuck" so nobody can buy it, and the price just keeps dropping. There's clearly a bug here (both in app and browser) that they refuse to acknowledge. Very annoying.
I feel like the shipping costs are way to high. But the products are nice and I like that the ppl taking the pictures always show what might be broken/damaged. White and black clothes are hard to see as the light setting should be changed for that. Or not use the same colot background. I have ordered twice and Im okay with it. Sometimes its confusing because of the sizes, If I order 3 dresses with the same size only one will fit. But you cant send the others back. Because shipping is to high!
Sellpy is just for... I really don't know who... The reason why I'm telling this is because: If you are a seller and send your items there, they last months to process them, so if you send winter clothes in autumn, they get in the app in late spring, when nobody interest about them anymore. Then, they started bringing down the prices, for my items was it surprisingly fast, but I've clothes in my favorites list that hadn't gotten down a cent for months... So, I don't get it.
I love the idea of the second hand online shopping experience, combined with the ability to also send in your own clothes for sale. I desperately would want this to be the future of fasion. However, the execution just doesn't seem to be there. Prices appear way too high for second hand clothes, as you never know exactly what condition they'll be in, despite the descriptions. Also, as a feature request, it'd be awesome to be able to filter for if an item is 100% of a specific material like merino
The app has been behaving strangely lately, ( similar bugs as 1 year ago). scrolling stops at 20-30 items, when the search results says thousands of items. Some search crash and take you back the start page etc.
Expensive, inefficient and slow. I decided to send in a bunch of stuff, some worth around 200-300sek, total new value well above 3000, but I expected way less than half of that ofcourse. Most of it was in good shape, barely used. Some items eventually for 50sek, 35sek etc, but the amount I got was 10, 4 sek. it's almost funny. so for the sold products you get 10% or so. on top of horrendous sales and extreme high fees, they're slow. I ended up paying them 200sek to get some things returned.
prices are completely arbitrary, sometimes used items are more expensive than new, sometimes you find the same thing listed twice for different prices.
Good idea but not well organized. Search by filter isn't done good (material, color etc) a lot of information is missing so you always have to search by general. Item information missing regarding dimensions, both for clothes and items, which is crucial for online shopping (photos doesn't give enough info). Have to mention prices as well - too high for second hand!
best online second hand store app if vinted isnt available in your country. most of my favorite wardrobe pieces are from here. very affordable, never had any problems with shipping either.
Great for shopping secondhand online, I truly believe in Sellpy's business idea and use them frequently. The app is nice to navigate, but sometimes I prefer to browse on a computer due to seeing the options better on a larger screen. It would be good if the app would eventually let you handle everything in your account, as currently the Sell-part and returns etc. sends you to the website in a browser anyway. Hence the 4/5 stars.
Pros: tons of variety of clothing styles and most to a cheaper price. Cons: long and expensive shipping, I understand it's for environmental reasons but if you're not buying a lot, it could be quite more expensive than buying new in some cases... On the other hand you don't contribute to the ever growing fast fashion by buying secondhand so the pros kinda overweights its cons.
Deny brand new items with value. Deny used items because of minor defects. Took over 4 months. Upfront price 4 the seller before any items sold. Buyer side bad 2! They don't properly list sizes & can't answer any questions about items. Ended up purchasing similar item through another secondhand reseller. Unbelievably bad, very disappointed! edit: will give up selling ur items very quickly and force you 2 buy them back or donate. Most items I've gotten 4sek & have 2 pay fees still! BOYCOTT SELLPY
The app expands over the status bar which is annoying. Also you should provide a dark mode. Edit: now provide a dark mode!
They "lost" my parcel. I sent in 5-6 good as new Uniqlo items to sell, and despite having proof of delivery in the Airmee app, Sellpy customer care claims the package is lost. They say this happens sometimes. Excuse me, WHAT? It's been 3.5 weeks and they still haven't found it. Friends tell me Sellpy has a reputation of staff stealing items, so idk... I will change my review if the items show up, but for now I am angry, disappointed, and sad. And probably robbed, too.
