Works well, would love more auto off options. Right now I have to choose between auto off after a set time (whether or not music is playing) or never. I would love for there to be an auto off setting after (time) only if there's no music playing, as it's so hard to tell if my headphones are still on that I often pause the music but miss that they haven't actually turned off.

First, nice design. Good idea to have a control application. That said, fire the idiot who thought the ANIMATED LOGO should show EVERY TIME YOU SWITCH TO THE APP. Get rid of the logo!!! Also, stop forcing me to wait while the Momentum 4 UI loads. When I just want to switch my earbuds to a different source--something I do multiple times a day--I don't want to take thirty seconds with logos and loading screens to do that. This app should be as quick and simple as a light switch.

Add an alarm/notification option that only 1 of 2 earbuds are charging. That's the best way to eliminate the surprise of going to use your buds only to find out one is dead when it tells you "recharge headset" after just putting them in your ears fresh out of the case. If you're going to cheap out on one recharge light then make it right in the software. Unless you just don't care about your customers. First time and last time buyer of your brand. Top $ for top level stupidity.

Extremely lacking Using Momentum 3 true wireless buds. You would expect a way more robust EQ and optional sound settings than what's offered here. The eq offered is only 3 bands, low, mid, high. With a bass boost option on or off, no adjustment. Take a peak at poweramps eq. Seriously nothing less should be offered than the 10 band options, especially with a company like Sennheiser. I'll just turn off the options in this app for now and use poweramps built in eq until they step up their game.

Latest update causes intermittent audio distortion / cutoffs. It doesn't disconnect, but the audio from my computer goes away for a second or so, a few times every few minutes. It's behavior as if I was at the edge of the Bluetooth range, but I'm not (I'm a couple feet away). Makes listening to music wirelessly almost not even worth it, as every cutoff takes me out of it. I'm not using the high quality audio setting.

The app doesn't offer/do much all around and the three-band EQ is pretty useless. Thirteen band, or greater, control would great. I don't see how developing this app for three or thirteen bands is really different, save for a bit more effort in coding the bands in to the UI, which isn't much. Pretty much, I only keep the software for firmware updates.

This app has never been great, but after the update it is unusable. I've always had some issues connecting to my headphones but have normally been able to connect after a few tries. After this recent update, nothing I have tried including resetting the headphones, unpairing and repairing bluetooth, reinstalling the app, and granting all permissions will work. i just want to update the firmware for these already bug ridden Momentum True Wireless, but I can't even do that.

The app sucks terribly for initial connectivity, unfortunately. But if you can eventually get connected to a compatible product, it makes all the difference in the world. I eventually got connected to my new CX True Wireless buds, and MY GOD, THE SOUND PERFECTION IS INCREDIBLE. I just couldn't get them connected at first, which is a bit of a bummer, but once I was, I definitely didn't have a complaint. The wave form sound tuning makes it pretty simple, too.

Headphone connected the first time with the app. I was able to play around with the minimal number of controls. Could never get it to connect again. Whenever I try to connect with the app, it disconnects my headphone with my phone. Then when it says that it's paired, the app just sits there and loops and doesnt show anything. Frustrating to use. Headphones are great. App is not.

Very basic for the money spent. The earbuds sound fantastic and I haven't had a ton of problems connecting them to my phone or my laptop at work. When connecting to phone I have to set them in the case, open the sennheiser app, take the earbuds out and then try to pair. If it fails I have to do it all again. Even just trying to pull up the app while they are paired it takes a few attempts to get connected. The most irritating part is the EQ. Would like to see an advanced option with 10 zone eq.

I can usually put up with quirks in apps and products, but this app is terrible. It is slow to respond and often does not apply settings that you selected. For example, I would like to have the side tone feature for calls off all of the time, but almost every time I take a call it is turned on again (even though the app says it's off). Luckily the EQ seems to work ok. It is shocking that a company like Sennheiser that makes such great headphones has such awful software.

The app has limited functions but works well except for one thing that I wish worked more reliably. It only shows the charge remaining in the carry case for my Sport True Wireless earbuds once in a while and it would be helpful if this worked more reliably. There is no pattern I can discern as to when it will show it and when it won't. Only shows it about ten percent of the time. App shows the charge remaining for the buds but not the case.

The latest update broke it for me. I don't use the headphones to listen to music on my phone but the app is installed there. Last update I could disable the "phone" and it would prevent any calls and notifications from interrupting my music. Not any more. Argh! Every time I get an email the music stops for the notification chime. Absurd. If I could roll it back I would but I think my only option is putting the app on another device that is not my phone.

App looks good. But doesn't work as well as hoped. What's the exact process for connecting my new Momentum TrueWireless? I can easily connect the headphones to my phone's Bluetooth but the app can't seem to detect it. To make it work, I have to disconnect and then try again through the app. Not intuitive at all. Hopefully gets fixed soon.

The app works as described. There is only a slight delay while it connects to my headphones (True Momentum Wireless 2). I enjoy the customizable controls and the hearing passthrough tech. The two things I would like to see on the app if possible: 1. A change to a traditional 5 or 7 band equalizer rather than the single point slider. 2. An option to increase the volume or output of the headphones separate of the Bluetooth device volume as they are a bit quiet on my iPad. Thanks! Great products!

Not enough control in the app. Devices can connect to like 8 devices. If your headphones run out of range of one device, it say "lost connection" every 6 seconds. Also, if the battery is dying it also warns you incessantly, which is bad if you are using them on a call! The monitor for microphone on headphones should also be controlled with the app but isnt. Overall, this app is supposed to help you manage your devices but falls short in every way

Horrible experience. It worked for a night then when I got in my car in the morning, the phone connected to my car audio. I went in bluetooth settings to turn it off. After that I can't connect the earphones to the app or my phone anymore. The app will say "Connecting..." then it will say no devices found. I reset it, I tried to find another device on the app. Nothing works. Sennheiser has lost my trust as a customer. I'm returning it now

For as expensive as these headphones are, you would think the app would work better. I've had my headphones/app for 18 months and I feel like it has only ever sort of worked. After a recent update, it got worse. Two sources can be connected at once, but you can only hear sound from one, but now the app can't be used if the mobile isn't the sound source. All that great Sennheiser functionality is out the window without the app, which is mobile only. Save the aggravation. Buy a different brand.

Just unboxed brand new CX True Wireless earbuds, and was immediately impressed--with the earbuds. Then I downloaded this app, which proved useless. Update: The app works. Not great, but functional. I will say that the latency beats other earbuds I've tried, including pricier ones, so these are my go-to for TV. They're bigger than I'd like. But all in all a good buy.

A mostly great app with a minor detriment. I like the control this gives you over Sennheiser products, but I would REALLY love to see an option to modify voice prompts (Bose's app supports this). I have my headphones paired with my phone and my laptop, and whenever I walk away from my laptop, my headphones repeat "Lost Connection" repeatedly. I am well aware that the connection is lost; I expect this when I walk away. A firmware update or an option in the app to turn this off would be great!
