Sense V2 Flip Clock & Weather

Update 2026:Changed from 1 to 5 stars. Dev. trying to fix. Truth is I still love this app. I used to love this widget. I've been using it ad free for a LOT of years. I don't mind the ads and accept them as the price of admission. But recently, the ads are taking the full screen and are very difficult to exit. In particular, there is no way to exit the Home Depot ad, not even using the OS back button to back out. I literally have to use the OS to close out of the entire app. This is unacceptable.

Like the first version, the clock numerals are not centered in the squares; they could be made much larger without clipping the bottom if they were centered. I also miss the flip animation. Finally, there should not be a separate subscription for each version. I'm stuck with a year's subscription to V1 and would like for it to be transferable to V2.

Love this app and I've had it on every phone I've had for the many, many years, but as of today I have to say I'm disappointed. For whatever reason, the skins option has stopped working. I had one particular skin I've always used, but after the latest Android update, tapping on the "Apply or Download Skins" button does nothing but close the settings window. Hope this gets fixed soon...!

Latest update has killed the app. After running for a few hours, cannot open app and it freezes. Only solution is to force stop, clear all data then it runs fir a couple of hours then screws up again. I've been using for years and loved it. Now its unusable and this started with the last update. I have not installed anything else on the phone for over a year. The app just freezes for no apparant reason. For example, I checked the weather before I went to sleep yesterday and it was working. When I woke up it was still working but click on detailed weather makes it freeze

I have a theme I like, so I didn't want a theme based weather app. This does the trick. The nicest, most customizable digital clock that sits cozily on your home screen. Tap the weather icon, you have a fully equipped weather forecast that's ACCURATE! Swipe, and your back at your retro digital clock with realistic flip numbers in your colors, fonts, backgrounds and what to display and how. The options are endless and what you end up is uniquely yours. I doubt any two will look alike. GET THIS.

I use an italic font on my phone. When I woke up, the font of the time was also italic, bold and green. Changing the appearance still keeps it italic. It doesnt look at all like what I'm choosing. (Update: whatever the system font is-is what the font on the clock will be...) Communication between developer was excellent... for that, I'll give u 5.

I've used this flip clock for many years on all my phones and worked perfectly until the latest update. It keeps crashing when I click on it. It has never done that before. I restarted my phone just to make sure it would work and when I clicked on it, it crashed again. You can't view the weather, nothing! This is my favorite weather app. Please fix it!

I've used this for years, am disappointed with recent changes, which aren't working for me. Suddenly, the flip clock on my home screen disappeared. When I try to reinstall the 4 x 2 widget, it won't center on my screen (horizontally). Really spoils the aesthetic for me. In addition the temperature has been wildly off, by 10 or more degrees of late. Sadly, uninstalling.

I bought this app many years ago. Premium, ad free, whatever they called it. Slowly ads crept in, and they kept creeping in. They knew what they were doing. Restore purchase was an actual menu option. Then radar animation and some other features were unavailable. Now ads are everywhere and they've gone to a subscription based model. It's like I never paid and was an early supporter. So, a big, well deserved, F@$K YOU to the developers.

The app is great. I love that it allows you to gain access to a lot of apps by assigning Hotspots to certain points. Make sure you choose the correct weather service in the settings. One of them wasn't working properly for a while. Contacted tech support and they contacted me right back with a fix. It was user error. App is awesome!

Ads are LOUD and intrusive. Used to be banners that still would let you use the app, now it's just spamming you and very easily clicked by mistake that takes you to Chrome automatically. But on top of that, app is almost unusable when trying to flip through weather for different location, you can't do anything until a pesky ad has loaded and after that it keeps freezing. Definitely trying to force the paid version of the app, but when it works so horribly it's not great advertisement to purchase

update: Not happy at all with the wallpaper changes. they used to have live weather wallpaper which I loved. then they went to static image (of rain drops, clouds, sun, whatever) wallpaper that was no longer live except the image would change as the weather changed, didn't like this so much. Now I just get a picture, like any other Bing or Google image. I really don't like this. I now have buyers remorse.

Useless app. It's been snowing for the last 2 hours, and the app just says "overcast." Now I know why there's no radar icon in the toolbar - the radar is useless. The colors are so faint that you can't even recognize that there's "snow" on the screen. Lastly, there's no text description of the forecast. The Weather Channel app has great radar and text descriptions, but way too many ads. This app has ads that don't annoy, but limited functionality.

Was a great app, not so much anymore. Full of annoying intrusive ads. They pop up and fill the entire screen. The last straw was the latest ad. Female voice moaning as if I were watching a porno. It was an ad for a game actually, but still. That's so inappropriate and unacceptable. Going back to standard weather widget. Won't be using this app again.

The weather is almost always off. For example, today, in Medford MA 02155, the app said CLEAR with 2% chance of precipitation at 8:30pm Monday September 26th 2022. When I walked out to walk my dog, it was heavy rain. I opened another app that showed this heavy rain. Even 30m later, your app still didn't show that it was raining. Also, Most times, I need to swipe to update the weather. Also, with all location settings and permissions on, it never syncs my current location.

Lately this app has developed the annoying habit of displaying an ad for Facebook every time i want to check the weather. I cannot see the weather until I click away from the Facebook ad. I am thinking of uninstalling it. Great for checking what kind of a day it will be when I wake up. Nice large clock face so I can see the time without putting on my glasses.

Very good clock and weather widget. No real complaints except the weather providers are not the most accurate. They are accurate enough to provide temperature and general weather forecast. Interesting I have the old version of this app and this version, and there are often differences in the current weather info using the same weather provider. Still close enough that I depend on this widget for time and current weather.

Excessive amount of ads on this. Open the app? Ad. Scrolling through the app? 3 more ads. There's even a footer ad. Clicked into the weekly weather and then tried to go back? Ad. Guess it's time for a new weather app. Does it do what it says it does? Mostly. It does lock some features behind a paywall.

Edit: I unchecked: "use default colors". And set 'time color' to black (white was setected). The app just updated automatically. When the phone starts, I see the time. Then it switches to the selected widget (size, as normal), and then the clock digits disappear.

Very good....easy and simple to use! But lately some advertisements i.e. Evony game and some would not close and stop at all. Had to wait til next day to open app again.
