I used to play this game when I was a kid, and coming back to it years later didn't disappoint me, the fights were still as fun as I remembered, even if sometimes I raged at the game. My only issue is that I can't connect my Google Play account to the game, so I can't access raids, and every time I finish a battle, I get hit with the first message that is given to you when you unlock raids, and then an ad. Other than that, amazing game.
Pay to win, with pop-ups galore. Not to mention the gear you need to progress, you need to have special coins for, which you can either by completing challenges (which you only get one coin for) or, you guessed it, buying them! To make it even better, your weapons and armor need to be leveled every other fight, the difficulty is unbalanced, and almost everything requires money. It used to be a good game, now it's a pay wall.
It's real unfortunate that the company had to infest this game with ads, not to mention the annoying pop-ups trying to make you buy some random equipment that'll be powercrept in a level or two anyways. I find popups extremely annoying, especially when they show up after almost EVERY fight. I dont care, I will never buy anything due to NEKKI's practices with popups and ads, so get this shvt out of my face. The game's great but HOW do you manage to make things unrelated to the gameplay ruin it.
this game is good. it used to be great, it's one of the few mobile games that actually has a story and isn't just repetitive nonsense. the graphics and music are both great. what let's it down is how many ads there are. literally after every fight there's an ad. they're so intrusive and it honestly ruins the immersion for me
downloaded this game on a nostalgia trip and it was unplayable, the game played an unstoppable ad after every fight and I couldn't x out of them after 30+ seconds of interaction every single time. gameplay is still good and I understand that the company needs to make money but if I have to reset the game because I can't return to the game from an ad after every single thing I do then I'm not gonna play it
Finished the game, great overall, used to play a couple of years ago, and it's just as good today. I think there should be easier ways to earn gems and mythical armor sets, though. I did notice a glitch when the enemy throws, you could still be moving, but be thrown when you're across the stage. Also, pressing try for ranged weapons causes the character to freeze, and the animation does not happen. The throwing glitch is especially annoying when fighting Titan.
It is really fun but for the love of God the hit boxes are terrible. and it's insanely difficult when two inputs have the same output. I mean, if I do left and punch while facing the right I might get the swing, and another time I might throw the person. so, that's my only issue with it. I think you could make the amount of times you get to fight per add maybe like one more. thanks! also, I do recommend this game it is fun. I just hope they fix these issues.
Used to be one of the greatest games of all time. Now, it's just filled with aggressive ads that pop up after each fight. If you play without internet, the game crashes after each fight. Glitches allow you to get late weapons early and many more bugs. Tried this game after a long time, but I couldn't play through this glitchy mess. It's sad that this game had to die this way.
The is a great game bogged down by awful things like energy cost (I am not paying $20 for unlimited energy), ads, and advertising gems and weapons way too often. According to the comments on the premium version a lot of the stuff in this free version is missing on that one. I almost bought that one instead but I liked the raids and eclipse mode from back when I played in high school, so I ended playing this one again instead. I would 100% buy the special edition if it were like this one
I played Vector a long time ago, and saw how fluid the motions were. I am amazed how well you guys did on the fight animations. Very realistic! *UPDATE- 2 years later, Nov. 2019* You've added interesting new weapons and armor, but I'm EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the glitch on opening the screen to unlock character skills in the skill tree. Every time I go to open it, the game's UI becomes unresponsive. The game is not frozen, but I have to close and restart the app to play it again.
Do not download this game. If you have played this before, you will not see the same game. This used to be a fine game with only a few bugs, but mostly fun gameplay and content. It has been curropted by adds before, after, and in between fights every single match. Honestly one of the biggest sellouts in mobile games with bundles from 2.99 to 19.99 flashing everytime you open the shop or map. Major dissapointment of a game.
This game is near perfect. The variety in weapons, play styles, magic, online mode, story/ characters, and music, are absolutely phenomenal. BUT... There's two REALLY annoying issues. First, hit registration. I throw a ranged weapon and the enemy just steps forward and it goes right through. They don't even duck or anything, they just step forward quickly and it doesn't hit. Second. When you dodge and it goes slow-mo, the attack doesn't slow down and you get hit even if your timing was perfect.
I love this game so far. It has all sorts of weapons to use and fight with. Personally, I love this game because I do karate. But there are a few problems for me. 1. In eclipse mode, the bosses are way too strong. 2. it takes too long to level up and get new equipment. 3. I can't connect online, so when I will or lose a battle, I'm forced to watch an ad. To get gems ad, oh I win a game, ad. It is obscure of the number of ads you guys put in your games.Other than the game game, it is amazing.
It's a good game. But the difference between hard and normal difficulty is too big. Like when you're fighting a normal difficulty ai, they hit you once and if it's a critical, it takes away maybe 25% of your health which is reasonable. But when it's hard mode and they do that, it takes away 90%, which frankly isn't fair. Second, whenever you watch an ad to make more money off of a fight, sometimes it simply just doesn't give you the extra coins.
First off, I really love this game. I've been playing for about two years now. It takes some time to master the controls and get the timing right but once you do it's worth the time spent. Hitboxes are wacky sometimes, but only with projectiles for the most part. I only ever play this game offline bc there are an absurd amount of ads when played online. Overall, a very fun game that is not 100% pay to play. Mostly relies on skill and sometimes a bit of luck. Would recommend.
Marketed as "free." Buyer beware: it is "freemium." The first five acts are good fun, but the fight against the sixth boss is unfair "to a 'T'" and largely luck based. I made the mistake of becoming attached to this game to discover the artificial difficulty of this fight. This is indicate of a broader issue with SF2. The fights are fun! Then why must the difficulty escalate like this? Money, obviously. You'll have fun playing but don't get too attached. It could be a harrowing relationship.
I played the game years and years ago and beat it. It was so much fun and still is. It's just the constant ads ruin this experience for me. After Every. Single. Fight. I am hit with an ad. And if you turn off wifi or data, the game tries it's hardest to load an ad for you. Locking up your game until it decides there's no ad to play. It wasn't like this back when I originally played.
The storyline is amazing. it's super easy to learn. Tons of weapons, armor and enchantments, so you can play by your preferences. Raids are super fun. Basically every aspect of the game is wonderful. It's thrilling. The only bad part is the ads, after every fight you get an ad. But the ads are worth it! I'm addicted. I would give it a 4.5 star if I could.
It would be an okay game, but the greedy developers decided to make "Energy". Basically you can only play about 5 battles in a row, and the charge time is so long it's dumb. This is such a big problem, that I uninstalled it the moment I found out. The price that you have to pay, to get rid of limited uses in a mobile game, is 20$. You have to pay 20 dollars to be able to play. It's way too much for a mobile game. Also, even if you turn your WiFi off, they still bombard you with pointless ads.
This game gets one star more than minimum for its.. I guess.. Game feel. The game starts out really fun, but after your first 10 wins it gets so hard that it's impossible to win without paying money or grinding, which you can't even really do since the game has an energy system. Fight fights. Then take a break. I hate this design and its wasted on a game that otherwise has so much potential. So disappointing.
