Shadow Fight 4: Arena

shadow fight 4 is incredibly fun. the characters are unique and different. there's a gamemode you can play pve. the characters are generally balanced. it's fun. the biggest issue is the monetization. gone are the days of buying the premium version of stick fight 2 to support the devs and enjoy more of the game. you need to level up your heroes (in two different ways) for them to get damage, health, and in some cases incredibly important abilities. I just can't recommend with that scheme.

The game is cool and all, the combat is fun. But why is it so dang pay to win? They just give some of these characters the ability to get shadow energy back so fast, have 4 abilities with no cooldowns while in ult, have fast attacks that do almost the same damage when blocked. There are characters that can simply get through guard from doing an aoe under your leg, with little to no time to react. This game has severe balancing issues.

Rewards are given out via "roulettes" that are rigged so that the desired item always comes last, and then they hike the price up to $40 (!) for the final spin. The idea is that you'll pay it because of the already sunken cost. Even if you don't ever plan on spending a single dollar (good luck), ask yourself if you want to play a game run by that kind of developer. UPDATE: they responded to this review with a lie. I asked them for a refund and they refused.

the gameplay itself is good. But the game is so incredibly predatory. You unlock points to level up characters through lock boxes which contain random character level up or talent level ups. When you are about to level up a character you tend to play a lot, you almost never get those materials for the character. but the game conveniently has that character level up or talent up material pop up for a straight up buy. if i could say more about the predatory monetization I would.

This game will definitely be the most ridiculous, repetitive game in history. Every time you enter the game, it just gives pointless and useless updates. It takes up a huge amount of space on your phone. There's no innovation, and it only tries to make money by increasing the amounts of in-game coins. This studio even brings in champions from previous games. I feel sorry for you, such a repetitive game...

A classic pay to play game, but not worth the money to spend on it. Game mechanics are good, but to really get anywere in the game, you have to pay to upgrade. Tried to work my way through the story mode, and could not pass a certain level with any of the charaters I had. I either needed help from special powerups that I could never seem to get or, you guessed it, I had to pay for. EDIT - dropped my rating after being contacted by the develpers. Same response as all the others.

The dev's attempts to make you pay for something are so aggressive I'm sure they must be self-sabotaging. Constant pop-ups, updates that increase the number of clicks you need to do, rewards for in-game actions are pathetically small. Matchmaking is broken - if you play well expect to constantly play with opponents with 2x all your stats and experience. I could say more, but the review limit is small. In short, the game is garbage and anything good about it is borrowed from Shadow fight 2.

The combat mechanics are intuitive yet complex, offering a perfect balance for newcomers and seasoned players. The introduction of team-based battles (3v3) is a standout feature, adding depth and strategy to the gameplay. Each hero comes with unique abilities and fighting styles, encouraging experimentation and tactical team building. However, the controls can feel slightly clunky on smaller screens, and the learning curve for mastering combos might deter casual gamers

If you're looking for a mobile fighting game it's definitely worth a try, can be very fun. Unlocking any other characters to use is ridiculously slow for the most part, definitely want to pressure you into paying. Single player sucks conpared to third. That game usually gave you different challenges in regular best of two matches with some boss fights. This one wants you to fight eleven different people in a row with a boss fight at the end and it's just boring and frustrating

Game is very good, graphics are good and most importantly gameplay is good. but I will recommend don't play it, cause early game feels good but middle game is where problem start, people start camping, then there are spammers where you can't do anything because they don't evan let you stand. Then thier is pay to win system, trust me without paying you can't play it for a long time. characters are broken too, they have abilities that make it impossible to win. combine broken ability+spams.

I've been playing this game around 2 years ago. It was fun at first because of gameplay and high quality graphic. The most annoying part is matchmaking, every time I 1v1 duel, it will just randomly selected a pro player and stronger players for me. Also, sick of the players had been fighting unfairly. Hopefully please fix that matchmaking in future 🙏🙏

The introduction is incredibly restricting and treats you like a toddler. A text box appeara and says "now do a an attack! Now do a down attack! Now do an up attack!" And so on. Then, before you can access the menu or anything, youre forced to do 3+ fights, switch character and more before get a chance to tweak the audio seconds. It seriously feels like ive been playing for 39 minutes and im still only allowed to do what the tutorial woman says to do now

This is a pay-to-win game. You pay to unlock characters and perks. The stronger the character you buy, the easier it is to win. The matchmaking is not on similar player levels, most matches will be heavily unbalanced. If you don't buy newer stronger characters, you are just playing for the other paying players to beat you. Too many Ads as well and the rewards are USELESS. Even if the paid characters appear similar, they are significantly stronger and faster than the same unpaid characters.

After playing 2 months daily. I really found out what other people are saying about this game. It's only about getting money out of your pocket. Just keep watching ad to get your skills or pay them to get all special features. If you will not do this, you will mostly loose. They deliberately give you fighters with higher ranks just to get you frustrated enough to think about buying stuff in the game. This game used to be my favourite android game. Now it's the most worst game I have ever played

The graphics are good, the only thing is that after playing for a few weeks it stopped doing match making at all in 1 vs 1 matches (just black plane screen) as well as in 3 vs 3 matches, where it gives you an option to fight with AI opponent instead of real gameplayers and if you don't choose it, it goes plane as well, others than that, if it would've been like from the beginning, I would've given 5 stars. I also made purchases of top tier heroes, so am very frustrated, you can imagine.

I honestly prefer the previous version (shadow fight 3) I think the story mode and adventure type of gameplay suits shadow fight more. I enjoy this game aswell as it's graphics and animations run smoother. it's innovative because it allows players to add attributes to their heroes in every way, one issue that I've had tho is that occasionally in battle the game would crash. this doesn't happen often but it is a little bit annoying when it does. I don't know the reason behind it. great game tho.

The game is amazing and I really enjoyed playing the game....especially i loved playing stories and chronicals and stuff...but also I came across a I dont know some kind bug, in the "FREE" section where you things for free if you do stuff but...I got the gems just by clicking on the free stuff so like I want you guys to take a look into that URGENTLY !!!!

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU PLAY!!! If you want to have a relaxed experience, play another game, this game is genuinely annoying, its another typical "want to verse other players? here's someone who's spent all their paycheck on this game you level 1 chud." Good luck to free players, the free rewards either suck, not worth it or better yet some are locked behind thousands of trophies so you can't get to them due to the level difference. theres no way to play multiplayer on a fair playing field.

I've been playing this game for a while, but the constant network errors have made it nearly unplayable. Even when I'm connected to high-speed Wi-Fi or 5G, the game randomly disconnects. In the beginning and during the first few levels, you keep winning to build confidence and feel good about playing. But once you reach the later stages, no matter how well you play, you keep losing repeatedly. It's very very difficult to upgrade, new skill and to get new heroes for not purchasing players

i have understood the downloading of additional material. How ever you guys have the most annoying ads ever, they are so long and they don't give you option to cancel when the ad ends, they forcefully drag you to Playstore. We really want to watch ads and support you but you make it so difficult and excruciating. Sometimes they don't give you the rewards, the game can deliberately crash and thats it you can even loose your progress.
