to be honest. if it's not Clipboard Health, I don't want it. all these other nurse apps absolutely SUCK!!! ShiftMed has extremely slow processing time. Clipboard is the only app that gets things done with lightening speed and then actually has open shifts to work. the rest of the apps just do not compare. they are all honestly disappointing and just need to shut down for wasting people's time.
Terrible customer service!!! The bot tells me I have to call someone to finish onboarding... I have waited on hold for hours with no one answering. I can't do anything about facility requirements, only shiftmed can register me for certain things. Other staffing apps are great and you get someone on the phone very quickly. Still trying to give them a chance but they aren't worth it.
I worked a shift Nov 7. When I was finished, I tried to clock out on the app. The shift had disappeared. I contacted the facility and filled out a missed punch form. It was submitted as shift key said with their form. As of today, I have not been paid. I spoke with 3 agents, but to no avail. This customer service is extremely poor. I was told my issue was escalated. Apparently not, I still haven't been paid, I discourage anyone from working this app unless you like working for free.
Too many issues with the app. I wish I would have read the reviews before attempting to sign on with them. Been trying for weeks to complete the credential process, so I could get to onboarding. Within the time frame, I was giving three other job offers and still waiting for credentials to be cleared with this place. (Ridiculous) I keep receiving emails stating all my credentials are cleared and I could select shifts. (LIES) A WASTE OF TIME!!!!!
I love shiftmed! It's flexible and the next day pay is amazing! With the craziness of life and how expensive everything is getting it helps to have high paying shifts, access to your money quicker and they are always nice when I call! 24 access to talk to a REAL person most other apps you can't even get through to anyone other than an automated system. They helped me with on bording, picking up shifts and another question I have had. Amazing app! Made life so much easier!
Nurses, don't download this app. I submitted all of my credentials and personal information within a day and I'm still "pending". I've been pending for almost two months. And it doesn't matter if you email, call, or text their support line within the app, you either get no response OR they will give a generated response weeks later. I use other apps with absolutely no issue. This is by far the worst per diem app I've ever seen.
Shiftmed used to be an ok company, but it has since went downhill. They post extremely low rates, when you finally get a shift with a decent rate, you get to the facility and the shift is canceled, shiftmed allows a lot of the facilities to cancel at any time without paying a cancelation fee. This has happened to me several times in the past 6 months, I'm done wasting my gas and time for no compensation. There's way better nursing apps with better pay.
Just went over my one year mark and I've never had issues, besides facilities cancelling all the time. Like an everyday issue. No type of reimbursement for last minute cancellations. I even attempted to work a double at a facility and I showed up for the first shift, got sent home for the second because "they didn't need me" then the facility proceeded to tell ShiftMed that I wasn't there at all. Even though YOU HAVE TO USE LOCATION in order to clock in!! Shiftmed then suspended my account. Smh.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service reps say "I'm so sorry to hear about this issue," but don't solve the problem. I have been trying to onboard for like 3 weeks and it's one nonsensical hurdle after another. I am moving on to another app/company that wants a seasoned, skilled nurse with excellent bedside manner and customer service skills to work & represent them well! ShiftMed let me down and a Supervisor never called me back. 😒
I am an older person that is new to all this online, paperless on boarding. I got as far as the payroll section. They want my checking route numbers and all this. I try to go back and use the debit option, as checking option will not take the numbers so I can't go back nor can I proceed forward. Been in the field 27 years, this is infuriating. I hate this new paperless way of doing business and feel it is a form of age discrimination.
I was having some issues getting my credentials uploaded due to some misunderstanding on my end. I was able to reach out via the help option within the app, connect to human agent at request, and was connected with Chard. He spent time going over my information and was able to diagnose my problem in less than 10 minutes. I have now been able to resolve said issues and am awaiting approval to begin work. Highly recommend this app to everyone.
I have been trying to get an orientation shift for weeks now, account managers seem to not want to work and support just gives me the same answer "sorry, we can't help" but please make sure you give us 5 stars in the app store. This has to be the worst support I have ever received in my entire career, if it wasn't so convenient, I would have stopped trying long ago. Don't use these guys, it's not worth the headache.
Can't complete I-9 because it shows theres no shifts in my area and therefore cannot upload any credentials or documents, even though i received a message stating to complete it. Called customer service and recieved a automated voice message saying it shows no shift in my area because i have no experience on any platform?? and that i needed to go some other place for help? its literally sending me in a circle nothing is open for me to update anything in regards to my experience or I-9
One of the worst experiences I've had with a company. ever. Its going on 6 weeks of "onboarding" that turns quickly from the efficient checklist to a mystery list of random documents being requested via the chat app and taking full 5-7days before you hear acknowledgement they did anything with it. Then you assume ok literally there's nothing left they could need and surprise!!!! All the potential shifts then disappear and show there is not one shift anywhere because your not verified yet.
I used to go through only this agency until they updated their app with "new" and "exciting" features that severely limited my ability to pick up shifts as a registered nurse. They were great up until then. Talking to customer service did nothing but frustrate me more. Do NOT go through this staffing agency if you are an RN. Don't waste your time. You will have little to no job opportunities.
this app suck!!! it says when ur cna certified in pa that u don't need experience but it wont let me go forward with anything. I request for help they give you the run around , also told me to log out and log back in now it wont let me register and they keep telling me my certificate isn't active but that's a lie!!! I hate the app. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.
Don't invest in it. I have tried this for 6 months and still can't fix the issue. They tell you that you aren't the real person....I truly don't believe real people are on the side. They reply back to keep trying to fix the issue, yet they dont. I can look myself up for a valid CNA, yet they say I dont have one. I work full time as one and have for years! I used another app and was validated in 24 hours. Dont waste your time.
This app has extremely low rates $17 hr y'all crazy if think I'm going to drive 40 to 50 miles for $17 hour terrible this is the worst app ever you can't even book shifts eventhough I finished all of my onboarding what a waste of my time 😑 app still not allowing me to pick up shifts I absolutely do not like this app totally unacceptable and disappointed 😔 after 4 years of trying to book app still isn't working what a waste of my valuable time!!!!
I initially enjoyed this app, however the app itself sucks, you can't get any assistance anymore with anything, there's no real time interaction and no one gets back to you. It's sad because it WAS a good PRN job. Now it's nothing and apparently facilities think so too as they don't use them anymore in my area.
Took 2 weeks for on boarding and then the first places canceled last minute with no pay ! Then I arrived first place with very hard work. I then went other facilities that were good one hired me. They will offer work as staff if you are reliable. Customer service was not nice someone yelling where are you !!While driving to facility I will recommend only if you desperately want to work with no interview and need money asap.
