Reading other positive reviews brought me to this game. The amount of activities is overwhelming at first, but then you see fashion possibilities!!! It's incredibly immersive, and you just have to check it out. The only thing I'd change is being able to chat in one big World Chat with other players. So you can meet other players more easily as the game seems kind of dead, even being in a guild, with events. And who doesn't want to show off their designer personality!
I've enjoyed this game a lot but it's definitely pay-to-win. You have to pay monthly subscription fees just to be able to save and access more than 3 outfits at a time, which is insane considering there are THOUSANDS of pieces of clothing, makeup, accessories, etc. SN pressures you way too much to spend, and if you don't, your gameplay experience is harshly affected.
The game is really fun. There's a lot to do, seems overwhelming at first but you get into a routine. I love the way the characters and clothes look, interacting with characters, the storyline, really good graphics and details, and I love the addition of designing nails. 4 stars because it's pretty resource intensive, uses a lot of space on the phone.
I've played this game on and off for years now and by far it is one of my absolute favorite dress up games. it has a pretty in depth dress up system with lots of options, lots of story and characters, and alot more to explore. My only problem is that even with low graphic settings, the game tends to struggle at times to load stuff. it's a gorgeous game but when things take forever to load, it takes the fun away a bit. but overall a fantastic game 💖
The game is fun, great designs. Really love playing. Can complete all levels without spending money. You would need to spend a lot to complete the collection of you are someone who wants it all. But again, but necessary. However it is a HUGE memory hog. 4 GB plus another 5 or 6 GB you need open for updates. For smaller phones it is a constant struggle to keep memory open to play.
The outfits are cute. That's the only pro. It is a massive cash grab. The game is twice as expensive as Love Nikki with half the free currency. Stamina, diamonds, and events are ridiculously expensive, and it's one after the other. I've been playing for four months and each event costs about seventy dollars to complete. Needless to say, I've missed a ton of clothes. The server is also slow. My internet is not slow by any means, but when I play this game I have to wait forever for load screens.
*Edit* it has been fixed thankfully. I still missed almost a full week of daily stuff but it's not the end of the world. Overall it is a good game though Please fix this devs! Ever since the game was updated multiple people have been unable to use the app, as soon as I open it, the screen goes gray and won't load. I've been missing my daily quests and item collection, and I haven't been able to play in over 4 days.
Very expensive and very laggy. It's a large and detailed game so those aspects are expected, still incredibly frustrating though. It's rare to get through even my dailies without having connection issues or the game crashing (the only app I have these issues with). It's seriously gorgeous but kinda expensive and just such a pain to play. I like it but I end up not playing it a lot of days because of how long it takes to do even the basics and how incredibly hard it is to run.
coming from someone whos been playing since launch, the game has sadly gotten super money hungry overtime. sure, we get free sets, but its almost impossible to get full sets without spending money. not only this, but if you were to just begin playing, youd be completely stuck unless you spent an ungodly amount of money. overall, the game is very money-centered and not beginner friendly. some positive notes, though, i love the lore! outfits are cute, and characters are likeable!
Fun and beautiful, but full of predatory monetization. Dressing up Nikki in a variety of outfits is great fun for all ages. The clothes themselves are far more gorgeous and intricate than you would expect from a mobile game, and there are loads of options. The microtransactions are insane, though. If you want to keep up with all of the clothing the game has to offer, expect to pay well over $100 each month. And if your goal is full completion, it will cost you more than $25000 !!!
The game overall is beautiful but there is something that needs to be downloaded now for a "better gaming experience ". It downloads way too slow. Even while using wifi (and not just phone data). It downloads so slow that if you try playing as it downloads, it lags too much. If you try to wait as it downloads, the game will eventually stop altogether from being inactive. Please fix!
Since my initial review, they've made more events easier to get a good number of parts for, and there are many events with suits that can be earned through normal gameplay. It feels more fair and balanced now, and I'm able to enjoy it thoroughly. The story is fun and interesting, the cast is intriguing, and the art and fashion are gorgeous! I love this game!
I love the story and graphics. Can't wait for further updates for clothes. However, my one critique is that the team stages should have a speed finish option when you run them solo, like the only solo stages do. I like seeing Nikki model the clothes, but it feels a tad time consuming after a while. Over all, 4/5. Definite improvements over the previous game. Would recommend.
This game is absolutely beautiful. The mechanics are cool to use. The outfits are gorgeous. But you have to pay for almost every event. The release events too close together so you can't save up diamonds and have to buy them instead. Save yourself the money, this game isn't cheap. I took the monthly amount I'd usually spend on this game and was able to buy a gaming computer in 3 months. It breaks my heart but I'll never play this again.
Been playing this game for awhile, and I can say that it's pretty solid. Beautiful art, great characters, wonderful music, and wonderful clothing items. The sheer amount of stuff to do is overwhelming at first, but you'll get used to it soon enough. Main gripes with the game are how certain things are unattainable unless you spend, game's a bit laggy at times, and how you run out of stamina too quickly. But besides that, I reccomend this game!
It's LIKE Love Nikki, but it's also different enough to keep me playing. However, the differences also have me comparing the 2. I would give 5 stars, but the amount of gameplay that requires stamina to be used is ridiculous. It's hard to get very far because doing anything takes stamina and is necessary if you want to score high. And completing tasks don't give individual items, unlike Love Nikki. It's almost not even worth doing tasks if I don't get decent rewards.
First off, it looks stunning. Everything is gorgeous. Secondly, the battles are kind of boring, but collecting and managing resources is fun. The over-simplified battle system (compared to Love Nikki) means you'll use the same 5 outfits over and over again. The difference between paying players and unpaid players is felt in all modes of play. It's very expensive. For $5 - 10 I expect more than a pair of mid tier shoes. They're pretty generous with currency, so it evens out a bit.
I've loved and been playing this game since it's first release and that love continued to these servers. :3 Expensive sometimes, yes, but far more generous than other, similar games I won't name here(I'm sure you can guess). It crashes a lot which is frustrating... But it doesn't stop me from playing the game again. I do hope they optimize the game more for a smoother play experience, but I think it's a beautiful and amazing game regardless.
It's fun, beautiful and interactive with a shockingly well written and fully voiced story with some pretty incredible voice acting. The downside is that this is still very much a pay to play game like the rest in the series. I personally would prefer to just pay for a game outright but that makes them less money in the long run so they won't. Overall a 6.5/10 for me. Beautiful, but not worth the money.
If you think this game is any better than its predecessor, be warned. It is just as pay-to-win as its original. The in-game content that's strictly available through freeplay isn't made to be free for long. Even the "free" events don't make enough difference unless you pay money for them. If you're playing this game for progress, to make it to the top, and climb the ranks, you'd be better off playing anything else unless you want to pay to climb the pay/play scale to make a playable difference.
