Shop Kmart Low Prices For Life

Really slow since the last update. Takes several seconds for clicks to register and then up to 30 seconds for pages to load. It's not my internet connection because other apps and the kmart website work fine. Also hate the addition of marketplace. Can it be turned off by default? Every search I have to turn it off again which is particularly annoying when the app is already slow.

Since the newer App format/layout, it loads so slow and at times won't even load at all. It's harder to find what I'm looking for. Preferred the older easier, less hassle App format from a few weeks ago. 28/2/26: Would be faster if I drove to the actual stores than waiting for it to load online for stock availability checks. Please, please, fix this App asap, it's terrible. Why Add Target + Officeworks to the Kmart platform!!! It's slow enough to load as it is :(

I used to do at least 3 orders a month. App never works. If you can get something in your cart, it just disappears 2 minutes later. Always error messages about unavailable page (in an app?) If you do get to click on a product, it just loads forever, checking stock or getting nowhere. The last order I did took a good 2 days, just by trying to get things into my wish list, that doesn't seem to disappear, then added quickly to my cart. Never again. So many things that I can't and won't buy now

When I want to shop from Target or Officeworks I would be using their app and not Kmart's. You are forced to use Marketplace as a default option when you search for products, this has resulted in being clunky and annoying. Regular occurrence of items disappearing from bag, not easy to change quantity of items that you want to buy. No simple way of providing feedback about the app. If I could give zero out five stars, I would. UPDATE Feb 22 2026, same issues as original review.

This app used to be great, but since the update in mid-Dec, I am not able to see any of my online orders or any of my purchase receipts! I can see everything on my PC, but not being able to use the app (especially when I'm in-store) defeats the purpose of the app. I can't use the app to collect orders or return items in-store. And the timing of the update was really poor (just before Christmas!).

Does the job, just a bit slow. Searching for items and switching between low and high price can get frustratingly slow even on a performance device with a Telstra 5G connection. Price scanning works well though, saving you time looking for an in-store scanner. Signing up/logging in switches between app and phone browser which can glitch up and confuse some users but thankfully you have to do this only once. So yeah, 3 stars ..💁

Since the last update the app has been so slow. I have tried on Wi-fi and mobile data and it doesn't make any difference. It is extremely frustrating searching for an item and then upon selecting it just hangs there forever checking for stock. Also the search filters take forever to load and then apply. One last thing - I don't want to see marketplace items as a default. I am shopping on Kmart and NOT marketplace. I do not care about marketplace!!!!!!

Does not function. it's always been a little buggy. but for the last month I can't actually search for an item. it comes up with the same error code everytime. I'm really surprised such a large company would allow such a poor online shopping experience even when it's working. But now they need a full overhaul of the site and app because it's unusable. And look at the Kmart auto response to these bad reviews. asking for more information as if they don't have diagnostics available to them.

The Kmart app has become extremely frustrating to use. It constantly shows errors — categories won’t open, search barely works, and even opening an item can take minutes or fail. Placing an order feels almost impossible as you cannot even view the items. Since the recent updates, the app experience has gone downhill, which is disappointing because I used to enjoy shopping and placing regular orders through it.

Doesn't function anymore. The app used to be great and then one day it died. It will load the home page but if I click on a product it gives an error message. No matter which product you select you get the same error. If I use the menu to select a category - error message. When I use the search function - error message. The only thing that works is logging in and looking at my account, purchase history, settings etc. It's pretty much useless.

Absolute rubbish! This is the second time I've downloaded the app and now I remember why I deleted it the first time. Besides the app being infuriatingly slow, literally EVERYTHING is 'Out Of Stock' in ALL FOUR of the stores within my region. This is exactly what happened last time (November). Now I will delete again and just shop on-line, where shopping is quick and the stock IS available.

I love kmart!! I use this app frequently, but nowadays, this app is giving me nightmares. It takes ages to load and find the item, and even if you find it, It will not end up in the cart. It keeps loading. Now I hate to search for anything in the app it is just pathetic 😒. Please resolve this issue as fast as you can as you may lose your customers.

The latest update is so much worse than the old app. It's so much harder to navigate and even locate the categories, let alone find a specific product you're looking for. The only better thing is the search option only brings up items with words you've searched and not a bunch of other 'like' items. Is it really that hard to make a simple and easy app?

As per the last 20 reviews an awful App. Tried it in the store and it was so slow it was almost useless. I made an order for another Kmart store but it didn,t show where in the emails the pickup was, and the order did not show in Orders as it was in "Preparation". I also can,t see in the App where to search for Clearence items I could find through the Internet. And don,t tell me to provide further information elsewhere just FIX IT!

Big fail. As per others - it lags, hate the Ai, default search option includes marketplace and Target (whether you want them or not) - changing the default setting causes more lag and then pops up again as soon as you search for something else. New landing page to browse categories is awful e.g exactly which category are plant pots in now? Often end up shopping with competitors that are more user friendly.

genuinely one of the worst apps I've ever encountered. forces you to use marketplace even though I just want to shop in store and see what they have in stock. have installed but even using the browser is a major hassle. I literally have become accustomed to typing in my search and then putting my phone down and walking away for a couple of minutes until it loads.

This app over the last year has gotten progressively worse. It's way too complicated and overcrowded with junk. Go back to basics, get rid of Target & Marketplace all together, no one wanted these options for an app they thought was for Kmart! The videos DON'T need to be there, that's what social media is for. Catalogue, Lookbook & Kmart Inspired can be links on social media accounts. There are so many other things wrong with this app but I've run out of characters.

The app used to be my goto when I wanted to shop online and check if items were available etc, now it is unusable the load time is almost as fast as dial up was 🙄 it feels like I am trying to use internet Explorer with how slow and glitchy it is. the pages only load so far as your screen is scrolled so you will look at three items scroll and have to wait another minute for the next batch of information to load.

app fails at the main reason to use it. apparently the app is now the only way to have someone else collect your order. but to do so, if you look under your orders there is no option. the option to have someone else collect is ONLY under "show barcode". also the apps "help" chatbot doesn't know how to this. it just tells you to write a signed note for your friend with their name on it. lunacy

Was a great app, but now whenever you search something it comes up with the Android logo saying webpage unavailable, so I end up using the website instead or use the app on my ipad it works fine with Apple. I thought it may of just been due for an update to fix the bugs, but update doesn't appear to be coming. Use their website save the headache.
