Back button or back swipe does NOT WORK in this app! You have to force close the app for it to start working, but it will work only for a few minutes before stopping again. This bug has existed for a long time and Shopee is refusing to fix it. Not being able to go back out of different screens with a button/swipe makes the app MUCH more difficult to use. Edit: Always latest app, always same problem. Please fix your app! It's buggy!
The app is so laggy even when my internet speed is fine. When I open the app, it automatically plays video from the live & video menu. And if I clicked on another menu, the audio from the live & video menu is still playing in the background. It only stops when I remove the app completely from the recent apps. Edit: I have 150+ GB of free storage and 8GB RAM. This has nothing to do with my phone's storage.
My purchases above 100k are always canceled by the system due to indications of unusual activity, customer service is not helpful at all and seems to blame me for having multiple accounts and violating the terms of use of vouchers when I only have one and only use the vouchers available, this problem continues to occur and makes me think of switching shopping platforms. What a disappointment, both this app and the customer service. 👎
bring back actual free shipping and promos without complicated t&cs, forcing us to have seabank accs or activate shopeepay later is ridiculous. too much excessive features (goofy games and videos), ads and unnecessary AI for an online SHOPPING app. all this causes the app to be very laggy to the point it doesn't run sometimes. i just want to shop effectively, that's what online shopping was made for anyway.
this is the 1st time i give comment I am a platinum customer of Shopee, but since the implementation of shipping fees for large items that are beyond logic, I started to think twice about buying items on Shopee. I tried to prove it to the shipping service and they stated that as long as the volume weight of the item does not exceed the weight of the item with the formula (length X width X height) / 5000 is not greater than the weight of the item, then it will still be charged based on the weigh
Overall it's a fine shopping app, but some shop account spam me with "my order shipped" notifications in recent 2 months - and I don't order anything at any shop for a while. Also, that kind of shops didn't have any product to sell. It's like a scam/spam account. What finds me really annoyed that Shopee didn't have "block" option in other account settings. I hope in future updates you could add "block" button for potential scam/spam shop account.
The app runs slow & sometimes will not upload. You can not update your orders received as the site crashes or stalls. "Error has occurred. Please try again later" Work needs doing to fix these glitches. Good shopping experience apart from the problem mentioned above. Fix the issues & it's 5 stars. Same old story. Clearing your cache doesn't do anything. Excuses... Uprate the server to take the volume of internet traffic...
When it comes to customer service and finding resolution through disputes shopee is undoubtedly on top. I've experienced multiple "Fraud" on this app yet i never lost a dime from it because the customer service always prioritize users experience and try to resolve disputes as quickly as possible (My fastest resolve time is about 18H from opening dispute to full refund), although the search relevancy could be better some products are hidden for some reason, and more attention to fraudulent users.
Worst payment experience! I've tried to settle the payment of my transaction and until now, it is still failed. Tried card and non card. As a new user, I have never experienced this issue before in any other platforms like Tokopedia and Blibli.
Taking my words back. Once money is released to a seller doesn't want to take responsibility. They have falsely rejected the return of goods which are in original condition twice!!! Released money, they should not have done it. So this is a dodgy kind of guarantee. When they mess up don't be deceived they won't take responsibility)) You are just a number, and when you are the minus number in their pocket, well don't worry they will rip you off)

When you not noticed, the paylater and spinjam is let's say from 2.5jt you borrow, you have to pay 4.2in total. Even more of what you should pay. Been struggle to this kind of economy, funny, it's legal. There is no like cheaper on paid early. Everything is fked, like this feature. Not only that, the support doesn't do anything. Emailed and instructed, but silent. No reply on email had been made, nothing.
Shopee is an excellent app for online shopping with a huge selection of products and affordable prices. The app is easy to use, and the search and filter features help me find what I need quickly. I really enjoy the daily deals, vouchers, and free shipping promos. Payment options are flexible, and delivery tracking is clear and reliable. You're automatically forced to watch a live when you open the app. The sound even lingers when you open another page.Who designed this? If people are opening the app they're obviously going to browse for something to buy, forcing them to watch a random live just annoys them into closing the app. Don't you have a whole department of marketing analyst or something? And you still can't figure this out?
Really bad experience using shopee for purchasing expensive item. The system didn't detect it being purchased, rather just said some "waiting for confirmation". When we seek help to costumer servies, they didn't give any solutions except wait for 2 days, which is so long consider the weekend too. Hopefully this kind of thing don't happen to anyone else. It made me consider twice before using shopee as online shop.
Broken for foreigners. App cancelled my order seconds after I placed it (but after it took my money). No explanation. Tells me add a bank account to process refund. When I try it blocks that too. No explanation. Bad AI chatbot won't connect me with a human.
The app has become too heavy and includes too many features that most users don’t actually need. The main purpose of using Shopee is for shopping, not to become a super app. Many additional menus are rarely used and only make the app slower and more cluttered. For social media and entertainment, TikTok already exists, so Shopee should focus on its core function. Hopefully in the future, the app can be simpler, lighter, and more efficient, making it comfortable for users of all ages.
The app is good, but please, there are so many ads.. the ads are always on, it's really annoying. When we're having fun watching or something, it comes to the shopee app. Just enough ads, don't automatically go to your stupid app. I swear this really annoys me. please fix it.
3 purchases did not go through. i cannot refund, because the default account (which i conviently paid from) is rejected. to change default account i have to recieve a verification email which is never in my inbox or junk. this is to force me to send to shopeepay. i dont want. do the right thing and redund me! why is it so hard and frustrating
Honestly, this is my go-to shopping app. But this is the first time I've had such an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. I ordered an item, paid in full, and provided a complete address. But when the package arrived and was in the process of being delivered, a problem arose. The package courier couldn't contact me, and I couldn't contact the courier, so my package was returned. My phone number was still active, but the shipping company (SPX) said they couldn't contact me. 😑
why do you have to use AI or computer for you costumer service?? there's no solution at all. Not to mention the shopeefood 🤦♂️ I can't cancel my order even if i waited for AN HOUR just to find the driver, and the order DID NOT CANCELED by the program, so ridiculous. We keep paying for maintenance fee, but the service and performance is really bad.
