Tried to add a credit card, and the fill-in form is in Vietnamese and missing US as a country (or, at least, it's difficult to find because they mixed Vietnamese and English names in an endless scroll menu). This is on the "English" setting. As adding cards isn't an issue in a certain other app (begins with a "G"), just use that instead.

The delivery fee is higher than the food cost (is there any option to show food + delivery fee?). I hate it when I pick 47k worth of food, and then it shows me the total cost is 96k because the shop is far (How can I set the limit distance?). Of course, I order nothing. There is no sort price when looking for a deal. Also, the return button does not work when I open the image from the food review.
If you can't speak Vietnamese, it is impossible to contact customer service when the restaurants mess up your order. The webform on the app is glitchy- it doesn't always accept pics, and all of the suggested options for help are in Vietnamese. The google translator app doesn't work within the ShopeeFood app. I recommend users to continue using Grab and BE for food.
Ordered food for more than an hour, couldn't find driver but didn't automatically cancel order, can't cancel order, chat with customer service but they let you chat with bot which doesn't solve the problem, chat with real staff but no one is there.
Worst food delivery app I have multiple times meet the problem of no shipper available. The app does not even notify me that there is no shipper, making me wait 1h30+ for someone to pick up my order, or sometime just abandoned. This has happened multiple times and this is the last straw, my entire family has no food delivered just because this app make us wait 1 hour without finnding a single driver
This platform is TERRIBLE. You can never contact anyone in case of problem (meaning every single time you order because there is a problem everytime). Most of the time order is accepted and paid with credit card then order is cancelled because no driver or for some other reason. Then it takes months to reach customer service to be refunded. This is the worst app and food service I've seen in my life. Even 1 star is over rated. I'm never ordering again on this platform and will spread the word
I liked this app at the beginning but later got many issues. I couldn't link my card to pay, almost all the vouchers are available only for Airpay which is only for Vietnamese bank accounts that I don't have. Once I ordered a meal from "unlimited Freeship" restaurant but was charged for delivery. I wrote feedback on the app several times but never got any reply. Everyday I get several promotions in Vietnamese which I don't understand at all. I wish it could be more foreigners friendly. Never got back
This app was ok before. But now, its super slow. I have to wait like a minute for it to finish opening. After that i cannot log in the app to use it. (Its too slow so I have to uninstall then install again like several times, and its happening for months). But funny thing, I ordered food via PC (which is not allowed using freeship code), then the notification of successful order still showed up in my app (that i cant log in few minutes ago). The food is 35k and the fee is 15k already. Damn it.
They fixed my problem so 4* because it's not easy and pleasant to do.

The Help Center in the app does not work. I tried to cancel an order as there is no driver picking it for an hour, but the agent is always full and I cannot send any message to the Help Center. After nearly 2 hours, a driver called for delivery and he said he already picked up the food. I had already prepaid for the order so there's no way but to take it. This is very dissatisfying and please do the customer service professionally, not just to "look professional".
The policy of limiting delivery distances from 10km to 7km, then reduced to 4km, 3km, combined with drivers delivering combined orders, makes ordering food difficult and waiting time too long, sometimes up to 1 hour just to deliver within a 4km radius. Meanwhile, discount vouchers are gradually limited or have to meet too many conditions. From a prominent and convenient delivery app, now it is not even as good as calling outside delivery or buying it yourself. Disappointed and unsatisfied.
Too many issues on Now 1. Almost every orders are delivered late/not on time. Lets say 90% of all my orders receive the notification of being late. So your sevice/calculation time is not real time sync? 2. Shops status are not updated frequenly. Closed shops should be deactivated. Experienced 3 times that the drives went all the way down to the shops and have to cancel because shops were no longer active. 3. Food are supposed to be delivered fast and fresh and hot. Why making a combine orders??
App doesn't allow to cancel order after 5 minutes and I was in 6th minute so I contacted the driver directly. She told me that she has helped me cancel the order via the switchboard and that I didn't have to pay for it. But then my account got locked payment by cash because of abnormal activity and was required to pay for my cancelled order to be unlocked. Contacted the customer service but couldn't help. Bad experience.
delivery frequently forgets items in your meal, but still charge you for it. Contacting customer support takes literally more than an hour. I was requested to take a photo of the missing item, when I asked them to clarify how to take a photo of a missing item they ignored me and then left chat. Terrible customer service. Make sure to check every single item you receive manually before you give the driver any money, otherwise you will get ripped off.
The app automatically merge your orders with others and the drivers have to do group order which lead to the long time waiting even though the shop is th near your place. I dont think you have the right to do that without the agreement of the customer. We are paying for the driver, you dont have the right to merge and extend the delivery time.
App doesn't update accurately (will still say driver is on their way when they have arrived), hence four stars instead of 5. Also more loyalty discounts would be great! Especially free shipping (can only be used once a week - what about those who order regularly from now?!) Lastly AIRPAY sucks. Please stop using it and trying to force customers to switch to this horrible company with AIRPAY only discounts :(
I was forced to wait two hours for food that did not arrive. I couldn't cancel the order because they said that the merchant was preparing the order. Couldn't find a driver (so I guess the food is still at the restaurant?). After the 2 hour cancellation, I ordered the same dish on Grab food, and it was delivered immediately. Customer Service is also useless-- the app doesn't have an English language translation, so it is difficult for English speakers to communicate.
I can not even sign up with this app. the problem are the system said " I entered the wrong phone number" and "my country phone code is invalid" which i came from Indonesia that have +62 as a phone code. I already double check my phone number. but it is still invalid and can not sign up. So please confirm to me about this complaint as soon as you can. Thankyou.
