Generally works well, but I'm not a fan of latest update. Information in digital coupon product listings is now inconsistent, sometimes vague, and photo images for some are so small that it's impossible to see what the product is. Some products are listed as "not available at this location" but I know they are available because I've just seen them in the store! One feature I'd like to see is access to recent receipts under Recent Purchases. Would be very helpful.
Shopping List feature is extremely broken. I added something to my shopping list and it went to "unknown aisle" even though just a second ago the app knew it was in Aisle 4. I also can't remove the "unknown location" items from my cart now. I also can't add anything to my cart anymore. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app. if I add something to my list, what do I need to do to make it stay there? I tried to empty my list, but everything came back after a second.
This app USED to be great. Unfortunately, now I can't make a grocery list or even save any coupons to my card in app, I have to go on a web browser to do either. Heavily considering just uninstalling since it doesn't seem worth using the phone storage to use just to look up if the store has something when I wouldn't be able to add it to a shopping list anyway.
Now I can't see what the digital coupons are for. There are only pictures with no description! I can't open each coupon to figure out what they are for! Digital coupons should be separated by categories. It takes too long going through coupons. Acme's app separates the coupons, so I go there more often due to the ease of the app.
The worst app I've ever used. Signs me out and makes me have to log in every week. Gives me errors with the password. Drives me insane. I give up and just place my order with Walmart instead. Not to mention so many of the items that I know they have in store are not on the app. Major waste of time. Update 12/21/25 The app is still horrible. You cant change your account settings. You can't update your billing address. I don't understand why no one will fix this🤬
The this app has declined in recent months. The latest update routinely signs me out and there is no reason that I would ever want to log out, since I'm constantly adding things to my grocery list. There's also an pop up every. single. time. I open the app, asking me if I want to turn on notifications... no thanks. The UI changed and makes it confusing to quickly identify which aisle things are in on the list. There are other problems but I'm running out of characters to write them all
As of 10/9/25 after the most recent update; in addition to the inability to easily pinch and zoom in the flyer (which has not been resolved for a long time), now when you try to print/share the shopping list, it just spins and spins, not connecting to the printer or a program to share. Whoever are the programmers for this app should go back to school. They don't respond to issues and they apparently are not capable of fixing issues.
frequently out-of-stock items listed when they've been out of season (and sold out) of it for months. ALSO personal shoppers aren't shopping with the sale in mind: if Pepsi products are 3 for $12.99, and 2 of the items I want are there, the personal shopper FREQUENTLY will substitute with a coke/store brand item rather than keeping in mind if my 2 items don't meet the "must buy 3" criteria, then all the sudden my order costs MORE ... AND I didn't get what I wanted!
I use this mainly before finalizing my shopping list to check digital coupons. I do find it tedious to find certain product lines repeated several times, like cosmetics, feminine care, vitamin supplements, pet food, etc. I would rather have them all group under the brand name and cut down on how many products you have to scroll through.
I like the changes they made on their app. However, it doesn't allow you to email your list. I love having my shopping list on paper. I hope they bring it back. 1/25/25 Now I can't view the circular for the week. It only shows me what I previously purchased. AND can we talk about the zoom in and out. What going on. Total trash. Stop messing up a good thing. Put it back where the app is view it without all these problems. What a disappointment.
It seems everytime I open the app I have to change my password. I am also unable to consistently access the app in the stores. I don't have any of these issues with other retail specific apps. Bed bath and beyond. Total wine. Jo-Ann. Home Depot. Etc. I only use the app at all because of the digital coupons that can only be accessed on line. I feel I'm required to use it. Not good.
This new update is not functional at all. That is the general review. Specifically: (1)they removed aisle #s from the cart view so if you wanted to run in the store with your infant to get a few things in specific aisles to get in and out of the store quick, you cannot. (2) the app crashes at check out. So I have been unable to set up a pick up order (3) the app empties your cart, so good luck remembering all the things you've been adding to your list all week long🤦🏾♀️
This app is clunky and awkward to use. If you're going to go to digital coupons, why not put a bar code on the signs for items on sale so the can be scanned? Not everyone has the time to go thru the ads and load coupons. Today, none of the sale items rung at the sale price. Very inconvenient. Just put the items on sale and link it to the Price Plus card. Period!! Don't make your customers jump thru hoops for savings.
Many items do not appear in the app. Even if I'm standing in front of the item in the store, copying the exact words or UPC code. It's annoying to have to choose a similar item & then add a note "Not this, but that". It's actually quite ridiculous. I work at the store I'm shopping from. Yet I get a message at the end of submitting my order that some items I've chosen are not available & will be removed from my order. No details of which items again, I work there; I'm choosing product we stock.
Shop from home seems very convenient, so we decided to try it once. They did not include 6/40 items, did not substitute them (when we checked the box for substitutions), and the app/ receipt don't tell you what wasn't included. There's no history of us ordering them, they just do not show up. So we have to go to the store anyway and remember what's missing. Not worth, won't be doing again
Constantly getting error messages and glitches during shopping. It took so long to finally fill my cart only to find that there are no available dates for pick up or delivery. That's understandable these days. Figured I will at least save my cart and I can go back and keep checking on time slots to open up, but when I left the app and came back on my cart was EMPTY!!! :'( 2 hours of shopping down the tubes!
How long will it be before you fix all the issues with the app? Too many people are having the same problems, so you know what to fix. The prices in the circular sometimes do not match the sale price, I cannot add things to cart when browsing the circular, search function is horrible. I can keep going. The old version was so much better. I do not like shopping online at Shoprite anymore.

When setting up a shopping list you can't add notes to put items on that don't appear in the app. Serious downgrade from the previous version making it almost pointless to use the shopping list feature. In addition app won't let me add digital coupons. What's the point? Worst update to an app I have ever seen. Wish I could give negative stars. In addition you can no longer sort yot shopping list by aisle when shopping in the store.
It's so slow and half the time it doesn't show any results. If it does, it's not even what you wanted. The search filters need to be improved and more info/pics about products needs to be indicated. On top of that, for some reason my store doesn't have a lot of the items I order which is really annoying cuz I don't find out until right before my delivery. You should also be able to add things up until 24 hours before your delivery, but you you can't without cancelling and redoing the order.
