ShopSavvy - Shopping Assistant

I believe this app was downloaded without my permission. It disrupts shopping. I was trying to add products to my Kohl's shopping cart, and it blocked my screen, so I couldn't figure out how to add products to cart. Then it tried to get my to sign into my account, but I was already signed in. Earlier I sent someone a link to an Amazon product, but when I clicked the link, it didn't take me to my Amazon account, it showed me a chart of other similar products. I would rate negative 100.

It WAS Great. No More. It use to give me a list of stores both online and physical, now it just... Lists the top store? Anyway, it doesn't do much price comparison anymore. It does do a lot of price trending and lets me know when a price has dropped, but really, that's it. While that is a handy feature, it is not the reason I downloaded it.

It's nice to have the search feature/function, aside from scanning a barcode/UPC, but I would like to see the option to upload a picture when searching for the best deals. (Example: I saw a pair of Michael Kors shoes on eBay that I really liked, however, I don't know the model name of the shoe to type in this app's search box! Uploading a picture would be easier vs trying to find just by typing "Michael Kors shoes" (since the listing didn't show a UPC barcode). Guess I'll use Google Camera.

HORRIBLE app - COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!! Maybe, I'm being generous when saying this - two out of every three items I ATTEMPTED to scan actually gave me prices. I typed in the exact item & description to search manually for prices - that didn't work ONCE, the wait time to get those prices is A LOT longer than you would expect AND there's a ridiculous number of LENGTHY adds in between each scan. Installed it, used once for 20mins most of which gave no results & uninstalling it now. Don't bother!!!

I've used your app for years and saved hundreds of dollars. I didn't use it for awhile and just recently "rediscovered" it. I'm sorely disappointed. It ABSOLUTELY isn't what it used to be. Your prices are inaccurate along with your stock levels. I understand stock levels can be difficult to maintain but prices! I'll be standing in front of a lower price, multiple times, yet you'll have your "lowest price" much higher. I haven't saved a cent with your app since taking the time to utalize it again

It used to be a pretty decent app for checking prices but now the ads have taken it over. Every time I close an advertisement, another one pops up. they're not small advertisements either; they cover most of the screen, if not all of the screen. I've yet to find a valid price for the 15 or 20 items I've tried to check on since the advertisements became so pervasive and invasive.

Most online links don't work! When it works, it's great but most time it simply displays a list of online stores and prices, but when trying to access the store and product thru their link Google replies with Error 404, site cannot be found! - For local stores all I get is Walmart, a store I don't shop at. For improvement: Wished I could take a picture if the scan does not work. Also make notes ie. where I saw it for how much! Fix the links and add the above features and it's a 5 star app.

complete waste of time. I am using this on a Samsung Galaxy s22. I don't use it very often. and it's been some time since I have used it. now when I scan a barcode with it the only thing it does is bring up ads for other apps. doesn't tell me the item I've scanned. doesn't give me shopping options for it. doesn't find prices for it. no description nothing. I just keep getting ads for other Android apps whenever I scan anything

This app use to be great but does not work at all anymore because pop up adds are controlling it to the point it is useless. This app helps you find things you are looking for as well as find cheaper prices when you are trying to get a better deal with a price match. I have on many occasions saved as much as $5 to $10 on a single purchase on items in the $35 to $45 range with a price match. Recently this app has been block from working by a pop up add from Robert booker to do with the market.

I've been using this app for around 4-5 years & I LOVE IT! If I'm shopping at a store & see an item I want to buy, it's so easy to whip out my phone & scan the barcode to compare prices everywhere else, including online retailers. I just love this app & I especially love the new feature of tracking price drops for any item I've scanned in the past.

The app didn't let me look up anything I scanned. I waited fifteen minutes, while I cleaned, in order for a code I scanned to be found. I got nothing. I tried another code, made sure my location was on, and still after a long time nothing happened. I tried to manually look up the product and still no results came up. All I got was 'Searching...' and nothing more.

Do not go anywhere that will price match without this app it's great. All I had to do was scan the barcode in the Shop Savvy app and it brought up numerous stores and their prices. One of the stores it showed had the same product for almost 50% less than what the store I was currently in was charging. Luckily they match prices so I was able to get the product at a much needed discount. Thank you Shop Savvy!

They gave me a free upgrade to pro. I am a merchandiser, in the retail sector, and I use this to compare deals, scan upc barcodes, in various big box stores, and I even use it for a quick search and gander, while doing personal shopping, I'll check here for coupons, deals, and sometimes, I go through this app's affiliate links, and I reap rewards and points, to use on various purchases. It is quick, easy, and looks well kept.

The only price comparison and product locator with barcode scan you will ever need. it has all the features you need in one app. Find product locally and online. Can't find the product when you are searching the web. Don't worry scan the barcode. You will now be able to find the product for the lowest price and or fastest fulfillment. by online or in-store. Amazing app. Get the premium upgraded version and you can lose all the other Shopping Apps you have forever.

I used to use this app years ago and raved about it. I used to use it for wine bottles at restaurants to see the retail price and for liquidator stores that tried to say they were selling products for 50% off when they weren't. It never failed me then, but now with the recent download, it gives me a loading icon and doesn't work. I'm going to delete the app and find an alternative. I'll check back in next year.

Worst app ever 10 minutes to try and scan one thing, but 5 ads in middle. I get it, but show me something before burying me in ads. You have to show them the hook and the have to set the hook before catching a fish. These guys think they don't even have to put their poles in the water. Sorry if you don't get my fishing references...... wow!!!!!

Monthly subscription? Make more apps if you can't afford your salary! There are too many other barcode scanners that do the same thing this does with a one time flat fee for no ads. If you want the app to send you alerts for lower prices automatically then you pay monthly but you can manually go into the app and compare prices with no ads for a flat fee.

Updating review: I have used this app for years, on multiple phones over the years and never had an issue. Apparently (assuming in a recent update?), they have started using our phones for their web scraping. This app got my home IP address flagged as a web scraper IP. Which meant I and anyone on our home network, PC or mobile, no longer had access to a ton of web pages (they block scraping IPs). Now that we found the culprit, we will have to petition to get our IP address cleared. Shady!

Crappy app. Tried it based on a friend's recommendation. My location is ON but the app keeps telling me it's not. So it won't give me local prices. Outdated advertisements (Amazon's 2018 Black Friday prices?????) and it keeps crashing. Uninstalling and moving on - there's got to be something better out there.

What does this app do? I scanned my box of Marlboro cigarettes and it pulled prices for some lanyards that cost $49.99. Then, a 20 oz bottle of regular Dr. Pepper (that's available at almost any store). No prices found. Lemon Lacroix, no prices. Typed in "Asus Zenbook" and it found items, but no prices. I've been shown 3 ads but no prices. I was pretty excited about this app but I'm uninstalling it since it doesn't do anything.
