They want you to do a lot of messing around for little in return. At the beginning it was fun and a bonus $10-20 was great. A recent new version looks pretty, but there are lots of rules and limits. They want you to scan receipts, do reviews and compensate you with next to nothing. Don't be fooled by the hype. I scanned about 2K in receipts last month but because of pay out limits, I can only cash out $1.50. Good luck to them.

I moved to Australia almost 4 years ago, and since then Shping has become kind of a must have app for my groceries. The rewards are not huge, but they add up, usually enough to cover my car insurance or even the water bill every month. It's really einfach to use and just works, so it quickly became part of my weekly routine. Definitely worth it.

every time I try to log in, it says "account is logged into another device" when that's not the case, so now I'm unable to log in any more.

Great app but your money count/rewards are an online currency that had been dropping in value dramatically over the last year. You need a MASSIVE amount of receipts over months and months to make even $5. No longer worth it.

It's a scam!!! Very slow customer service. I have purchased a booster item for the membership upgrade which eventually gives you more points and higher limits. It did not automatically upgrade my membership so I contacted the customer support on 27/10 and nothing was done for 2 whole weeks!!! It is just scam to trick you to buy their products and not giving you what promised! The only thing you get is AI replies! Stay away if you have other apps!!

This was a good, user friendly app until the recent upgrade. Can no longer upload an ereceipt easily, it is a whole long winded process, and not just a simple click of a button. What happened to the barcode scanning spree? Barcode scanning is now so much slower and half the time you scan an item, it doesn't seem to work, you get out of that screen and go back in to scan and then for some reason it has scanned it twice. I am not sure where the improvement is???

The app was great and the program was excellent. However as soon as I levelled up to Silver, it is where things took a turn. On Sunday I added my receipts as usual. Then I received an email that my account was suspended, which meant I couldn't get help through chat support to clarify things. I wrote emails, nothing was answered, I rang the number and left messages. I get people abuse the system but when you can't help with issues like a suspension, then that is bad.

I have had this app for some time and collected a lot of points but only just decided to cash out. I then found you are only allowed to cash out $5 a month! This makes the whole thing pointless, it would take years! Also the levels are so frustrating! You work you're way up but if you can't make it to the next level you're straight back to the beginning again!! 🤯 Getting buddies is SO hard!

I loved this app but since the new update I might not continue using it. With the new update it's hard to tell whether a receipt has been accepted or not and instead of a few hours (sometimes a few minutes) every receipt takes days to upload. One that's just annoying and two you have to buy booster products really early in the week otherwise it won't count them. Also you now get less points for everything and the whole design is just alot more cluttered and confusing.

My October withdrawal stayed pending for days with no explanation, and Shping only told me it failed after the month ended. Because of their delay, they unfairly counted it toward my November quota. Support admitted the payment “bounced” but claimed they “can’t adjust” the quota — even though the failure wasn’t my fault. Coins were returned, but I still lost my monthly benefit. Really disappointing and unfair system behaviour.

Updating to say THANKYOU for fixing the uploads. They are now lightning fast and i can finally send over my woolies online receipts again. The timeline is still completely messed up though, filled with only booster activations and other peoples reviews. please please please fix this back to how it was. It was nice seeing what we had uploaded, what had worked and what hadn't. I assumed that was the point of the timeline as it seems useless now.

It's weird how this company rewards its users with a cryptocurrency but has a strong preference towards paper receipts. It's often difficult to get approval for online purchases (digital receipts) that do not look like typical in-store receipts. There's also an anglocentric bias as receipts for Asian grocery stores are often left pending. In terms of the shopping boosts, the items are often things one wouldn't normally buy and cater to a middle-class white woman above anyone else.

Initiam impression was it is a good app, but then I noticed that even though u upload a receipt and get acknowledgement of points added, it does not reflect in the points many times. Today, without doing anything, I noticed my balance reduce without any initimation or reason provided. To top it up, there is no support details provided to contact them. Recommendation is to stay away, as they are making revenue at the expense of the customer without proper customer service or notifications.

They do slightly increase the cash out limit but also highly decrease the exchange rate. Even having the basic tier limit, your own available amount to withdraw is still capped with how many shping coins you earned in the previous month, which only crazy users can achieve it under a ridiculous exchange rate. Cannot find being treated fairly. The time spent on this app is definitely far far less than the minimum wages. Then what's point to use it?

the withdrawal limit has been reduced. Not happy. I have to be on a higher tier to get to the limit I had when I was on a low tier. Also the rewards for uploads are lower. Sometimes, Not worth the hassle. Unable to upload videos. Always comes back with error. Please fix bug issues.

just take a photo of your receipts neatly and get points. as you keep going you'll reach certain points to redeem. I've redeemed $60 till now. Started from march. The only worry is sometimes it really feels weird to ask for receipt when you purchase a coffee. but well if you want point then may be it's worth it. Sometimes I think it's not good for environment. Anyways this app does the work well as it says. I like it. I will be using it for a while.

What a crock..!.. I have legitimately scanned all purchases, even what I have bought today.. (yarn). I have tried to withdraw the dollar earned. I have been blocked for three days. What a waste of my time. Ive tried to give it another go, can not login to my account. I have been blocked for a month.. Using a competitor's app.

The app shows limits of $20 but when I try to withdraw. It prompts the maximum amount I can withdraw is $5. This could take years just to cash out the reward. This is really frustrated when the users provides massive amount of data but are not able to get their rewards which they deserve.

this app works really well, at first you make very little bit of you stick with it and work your way through the levels it is worth it. It is fantastic to read reviews if trying a new product. only fault would be it's slow to add new products that you add. i shop at aldis and have added products that still haven't been approved or added so a lot are unknown. if you shop at Woolworths or Coles it's a great app.

I was happy with the app but now there is an earned limit, I can hardly withdraw anything (and with a massive fee) so there is no point in continuing to use the app. I will change my review if this is fixed. Making it so difficult to withdraw the coins I have spent so much time collecting, does not encourage me, or others, to use your app.
