I love this app until today when I can no longer split the sound volume between the right and left hearing aids. up until today. that was something I could always do. AI told me to go to the three bar, menu app settings, slide selection but that selection appears to no longer be there. if insignia being bought out by the other company is the cause of this, I wish the new company would wake up and restore that capability in the app as I use it. Only reason I've downgraded app to 4 stars

Poor quality all around. Had Brand O hearing aids for 3.5 years and never had a problem. Was suggested by my audiologist that I get a new pair because of newer technology. For whatever reason, I allowed myself to switch to a new brand, Signia. Big mistake! Although they sound a lot more natural than my old Brand O's (probably the newer technology), the right one needed to be replaced in less than six months and the app is totally unreliable.

I keep getting a tinny sound of my voice and others. I also hear static in my right heart ear. Plus, I don't think the app is user friendly as far as trying to get back to where I adjust each ear separately. This app could definitely be improved on. My husband wears hearing aids also. He is a tech guy by profession. He isn't happy with the app either. UPDATE: terrible app. we constantly fight our settings, getting dropped off bluetooth, a long wait for the hearing aids to connect, and more.

Just another day that ends in Y. Since the most recent update, my hearing aids are not automatically pairing with my Bluetooth. Prior to that, the late November update stop connecting the hearing aids to the app. The only solution is to delete the app and reinstall it. then I need to run through the setup again before I'm actually connected to the app. I drove 30 minutes to my audiologist's office to see if there's something wrong that they could fix. They told me it was the app.

I'm not sure if it's the app. The hearing aid center technician says. it's NOT my hearing aids. When I make outgoing calls on my android cellphone voices are gravelly or raspy. My cellphone carrier had me reset my wifi, mobile settings and then I had to re-pair all my Bluetooth devices. I don't know yet if that has corrected the problem. If you've had users report this issue, maybe you have solved it in the app, if it is the app at fault. I need to get that distortion resolved somehow. Thx.

I just got these fancy new hearing aids from the VA but the app functionality is really bad. Shouldn't be my phone since it's an S25 Ultra, but I'm lucky if I can get one thing to work. No volume control, no tinnitus control, mode switch hangs and doesn't work, nothing in the settings works. I'll try to reinstall the app but I shouldn't have to. If it doesn't work by my next appointment I'm writing the VA and telling my doctor to get me something else.

keeps freezing, closing, and crashing, will not let me keep settings as in volume and direction. Was horrible when the first hearing aid was defective. Is better after warranty replacement, but still won't let me keep settings. Also will not let me turn up the volume, I have to do in from the hearing aids themselves. Still will freeze up also.

The app just sucks. It occasionally freezes so I have to restart my Android phone to make it work again. For the price I paid for my hearing aids the app should be flawless. Oh, and let's not forget the touchy hearing aid charger that came with my hearing aids. I have to fiddle with it so they can charge overnight . What a pain. I'ldefinately be trying another brand for my next pair of hearing aids.

garbage app for an expensive device. every time I try to adjust the volume, balance or direction I get a error message that my phone is muted or on do not disturb. my phone isn't on do not disturb and how can my ringer volume possible affect hearing aids. this of course is when the app isn't freezing or crashing. it's 2025, this can't be that difficult anymore.

Very poor quality app to support expensive hearing aids. App runs in the background, but there is no way to stop it, short of going to settings, app, etc. When phone is connected to hearing aids via bluetooth, it always answers on the first ring. App loses contact with one or both aids several times a day. Only way to re-establish the bluetooth connection is to restart the phone. No way to store additional hearing aid setups. You get 3 and that is it. Poorly written, poor quality software.

the Bluetooth continually disconnects from my phone and shuts my hearing aids off. it will not let me adjust the sharpness it keeps on changing the settings. I am unable to control my hearing aids without this app and it is very frustrating when it doesn't work. the concept is great but it doesn't work reliably. I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get it to work. here I go again I hope it works

Needs an equalizer for fine tuning. Volume adjustment requires you to have your thumb over volume setting so that you can't see where you are setting it on. Should have a "home" setting to go back to a preset. Also, keeps turning on to Bluetooth even though I keep turning it off within the app. Loaded itself into my do not disturb exception list without my permission, yet still won't adjust volume without me turning off do not disturb. Can't turn off My Well Being tracking. Very intrusive.

When I first used this app, I was able to switch programs. Overnight one night, that ability vanished. The base and treble settings are a joke, but it does nothing either way. I have cros aid in the left ear. You can't turn up just the left that feeds sound to the right, it really is disappointing, to say the least. Signia, you can do better.

I would like to be able to say that this app is abysmal but honestly, it's just not that good. It does not stay connected to the hearing aids and when connected it does not allow left and right volume to be adjusted independently, it's both or nothing. I would suggest you get some first year software college students to show you how to write software that works. Btw, I'm a certified software quality engineer.

I wish there was more info about my aids available on the app, i.e, it would be nice to have a visual of battery life, and not just listen for beeps. I wish that there were more controls available, i.e, it would be nicer to have a quicker way to raise and lower the volume. Also, I wish this app didn't affect other apps, i.e, because I have to raise the media sound on the phone in order to control the hearing aids, I accidentally blasted Pandora in the middle of a church sermon! Embarrassing!

Was having problems with controls that suddenly stopped working. I deleted the app and installed the newest version. Controls are working now. However, phone connection through Bluetooth only works on the right side. I contacted tech support and followed their directions of deleting data and unpairing and pairing again. The solution did not work. They don't know what else to do other than bring in the hearing aides to my local practitioner.

*UPDATE 8/29/2025 this app is terrible. There is no option to update it, and the connection drops on the average of 4 times and hour. when it DOES connect the audio sounds like you're talking on the phone to someone with one bar. My heaing aides keep dropping the Bluetooth connection and I paid $4,900 for them. I'm seriously considering buying another brand. This is ridiculous!!!

Everything was working great, ability to adjust volume and program settings. Then all of a sudden, it stopped working. I can't adjust volume or change program settings. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times and each time, it confirms connection to the Silk hearing aids, but then I'm unable to make those adjustments. I might try adjusting the volume and it will actually change it, but then it stays in that volume setting and won't change anymore. Very frustrating.

crashes frequently. locks up even more frequently. usually have to try at least four or five times to start it, since it either just hangs or crashes and vanishes into the night. The 'my wellbeing' is useless. it will almost never get the data from the hearing aids, so if it shows anything more useful than "last updated 3 days ago", it will be showing you took 53 steps today and have been wearing your hearing aids for 27 minutes when you have been wearing them for 10 hours while out running.

Every update messes up the apps controls and the Bluetooth connection. Makes a double clicking sound with any adjustment, no way to mute the sound. Very irritating. Sometimes it will allow for left and right volume control, sometimes it won't, mostly it won't. When you get out of the car, the connection back to the hearing aids isn't always automatic. Constantly have to go the Bluetooth connection to reconnect to the hearing aids.
