honestly this was more amusing than I expected. I used ear buds while playing this and it was absolutely worth it. There were a few times I thought I was losing my mind in real life with some of the sounds (trying not to fully spoil that part for people debating on playing.) Everytime I'd finally relax a little, it'd jump scare me as a little reminder. 😂 Definitely willing to give the other games a play. 😁
The game itself is amazing! After playing it several times though, I am experiencing some bugs. I don't know if it's a glitch in the game or a problem with my phone because it didn't happen to begin with, but even after uninstalling and reinstalling the game, Anna's first video is unviewable (it shows up like Greg sees it, just static), and some of the photos just show up as grey, even after they've been restored. I can't find anyone else talking about this, so I wondered if it was just me?
Very fun! But also difficult! I have a notbook litteres with notes from the game! I found it easier to write information down so that way i could access it easily without exiting apps and going back into others. I really liked this game, and the multiple story lines are amazing! It took me 2 tries of full gameplay to get "the good ending" and save both anna and taylor. It was difficult but i dis it! Im going to play a few more times with different answers for the other endings!
This is story-telling at it's best! Puzzles and mysteries will engage your brain, jumpscares will keep you on the edge of your seat, and a storyline that is rich in its decisions will keep you coming back for more! There's also a TON of Easter Eggs to find, so both those and the achievements will definitely keep your attention for this game. Now, getting all the achievements is kinda hard, but it definitely helps when you beat the game the first time and can use Begin+ mode (I actually got the worst ending possible on my first run😆). Also, guides online and watching YouTubers can help. Other than that, the game was well-worth the money. I certainly hope to see more of these games in the future! 👍
The checkpoints are fairly far apart so block out some time so you don't have to replay scenes. I found both the leading characters to be insufferable jerks, which made the decisions on who to help honestly more interesting on one being clearly designed to be the "right" choice. I got a terrible ending and I'm excited to hand the phone off to my wife to see how she does!
I just finished the game, the first time... I have a few choice words for you haha. First off, holy hell, never in the years of owning a phone did I think a mobile game could be so deep and addictive, hats off to you good sir And secondly, YOU ARE SICK, haha, in a good way though, the twists and turns this game has, ...the jumpscares.. (almost threw my phone a couple of times) and just the fact that there are 4 endings with eastereggs and what not, I'm gonna play this again, cuz it's that good
So you can only pick from a selection of texts and sometimes I wish you didn't have to accuse Greg every mode. Some stuff is a bit harder to figure out like James or how to contact Yolanda. gotta kinda figure it out with the clues they drop from the beginning. And a tip: pretend to be Anna with her best friend. I love the multiple endings. Some stuff needs writing down but it's like my favorite game. I'm still trying for the 4th ending. HIGHLY RECOMMEND but not for midnight
10/10 game ONCE AGAIN. The experience was awesome, the characters were likeable and believable, and the experience was overall very fun. The coolest parts were when you wear headphones, you occasionally hear your doorknob rattle, someone gasp or breathe in your ear, and sometimes you even hear pounding on your door. Things like that truly unsettle you, because you realize that at some point you'll have to put the phone down, and face whatever is making those sounds.
******Maybe someone can help and I'll rate higher****** Great game but I think its glitched. SPOILER ALERT- I'm stuck at the background search on Taylor. I can only add his first and last name which comes up with no results. After researching online everyone says I need to add his age and location. Well I don't have the ability. Great game minus the game altering glitching.
I think that this is a great game, and it has a lot of potential. I got jump scared soooooo many times from it. The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is because of a bug I had when trying to watch the jabber videos, and other short clips I would get from the characters in the messages.. it would freeze up my phone and I would almost have to restart the game. Besides that it's a great game though. Highly recommend.
MUCH better experience than SIM with much more engaging characters, memorable dialogue moments, fun choices, decent jump scares, and puzzles that did leave me scratching my head at times (without having to use total moon logic). AND it has replay value. My only complaints are minor story gripes. Definitely the best of the "found phone" subgenre, and the effort here absolutely shows. $5 well spent.
Super fun and creative game, some of the puzzles did require me to search up their solutions, but for the most part I actually solved them myself (Something uncommon for me). I wasn't too spooked by it, but that's more my fault, not wearing headphones. Overall, 5/5, absolute cinema
This is a truly amazing game. Little things like the phone background changing make this a fascinating experience. Spoiler warning: My only complaint is that I feel like the jumpscare at the end was a bit cheap. However, I find that the fact that the entity gives the same line to you as it did to the previous victims right before they disappear more than makes up for it. This game is truly exceptional.
This was actually a pretty fun game. I've never played something like it before...okay maybe not completely true...I played the free version of it, but that was enough to get me to spend $5 on this one. Pros: Pretty good acting for the most part Engaging story Hours of gameplay, especially if you try for all 4 endings Cons: Greg's acting is terrible...although even that is kinda funny I can read faster than the texts come in Some typos, but maybe that was intentional?
This is the most coolest game. Considering harder puzzle it was was amesome.i can't believe know you can save the people Edit from two years later:oh god my english from back then. Anyways, two years later from when i play this it's still interesting. I still love the concept of this game. I keep replaying this to get the all the endings until i can buy the second game.
Looking through the one star reviews made me laugh. This game is such a bang for your buck. I bought it on my switch orgginaly, and i just got done with me 7th playthrough. I cant recommend this game more. The voice acting is great (gregs is a little iffy), the jumpscares are unexpected, and the story is one I acuttaly find myself paying attention to, which is rare for me.
This game is a new idea executed very well. The game keeps you uneasead the whole time, as you feel there's more than what we see on it. The actors are okay, nothing terrible but nothing too amazing. If your a bit skeptical on this game, try the spinoff pipe dreams to get a basic understanding of what your getting into. But anyways, good game.
This game is creative, innovative and spooky! I definitely recommend it. There are a few issues though: for some reason Google Play Games won't sync it properly so after I uninstalled and reinstalled I lost all my progress (the achievements don't work either). Some of the grammar can be a little off sometimes. The acting from the main girl, Anna, could be better. The (spoilers) "spooky" texting from Aulner just made me laugh a little because of how he dragged out his vowels, "MeEeEeEe"? (End spoilers) However, all in all an enjoyable experience!
Much longer compare to the first version, and more "family friendly", no blood or corpse. For the story, I like the first version, more intense and scary. For this version, I got really weird ending, it doesn't make any sense. I'll try to get different ending. One of my favorite game, everything well made, genius developer. Next time, please use easy English, I need to back and forth to Google translate. I'm looking forward to your new game!
One of the strangest, most unique mobile games I've ever played. So creepy. Totally worth the $6, it kept me entertained for a whole day, and I'll probably play it again. Only constructive criticism: like some other reviews mentioned, Greg/Taylor's voice acting could definitely be improved.
