Sketch by Rasm - draw & paint

there is an app similar to this but it had way too many ads so I couldn't do it any more but then I found this masterpiece so far I'm into my second day into it and I have experienced a single ad except for the little box at the top but that's all right, this is an amazing experience so far and there's also a lot more tools and variety that you can use and it's a lot more in depth overall amazing app.

It has layers and undo which makes it very good, but 3 important things are missing which would make it great: -1 text editor. It used to have it, where did it go?? -2 crop tool. I have to bring everything I do into android photo gallery to crop properly before I share it. -3 words of any kind. It has a steep learning curve because everything you do is by trial and error. Nothing is labled! There are still 3 instruments in there that I have no idea what they're supposed to do.

Good variety of pens & colors, but it doesn't have any sort of pressure sensitivity. It might not matter if you're completely new to digital (you could get used to it), but if you're coming from a computer & looking for an app to make your phone a quick sketch book where you can finish on your drawings later on bulkier software, this probably isn't your app. Also, the upper limit for image size is only around 4000x4000 pixels, which again, could work, but isn't ideal & it was laggy w/ that #.

Simple and sweet. Surpasses my default Quickmemo, which basically nothing before has been able to. It's an app really made for those moments when you suddenly come up with a drawing inspiration, idea, or just feel motivated to sketch. Since the layer system is simple, you can even use the import image option over and under a simple drawing that has a plain background to edit sketches from other apps or software. The ads aren't overly obtrusive in an app for once.

A simple drawing tool that has layering. I use it on my phone so it is nearly impossible to draw. Yet the layering functionality and basic shapes allow easy creation of icons and simple ui elements. I cannot comment on the actual drawing part. It works well. One function that would be sublime in it would be a merge delete where you could cut a shape from another.

Sketchbook is honestly a good app to use. However, it has some flaws. One, it's complicated to use because of all the stuff on the app (which makes it better than others in some instances, to be honest.) two, my layers are smaller than blood cells. three, the writing tools are fixed on one size, which means when I go back to the drawing, i have to change to size. Four, let's say I make a mistake, then I have to search through my tiny layers to try and find the mistake I made, thus taking time.

It was a decent drawing app, i like how you are able to use several layers and the unlimited color choice... although for me there are some downsides to it... there are some things about this app that makes it seem a little lackluster... like for instance there arent a lot of tools you could choose from... and i also dont really like the fact that when you scroll down to change the size of the pen tool and the minimum size of the pen tool is still a little big for me... i like using fine lines.

Can you fix the canvas size bug? It doesn't allow me to change it to anything. Update: been using this for years. Good app.

This is a great app! I really love this, you can draw many ideas, you can color it, you can draw as many as you want. But I have a problem.... When I want to continue my drawings, It always go back to the main page. I tapped it many times but It still goes back. And also I can't save my drawings in my photos. Please fix this . It is a great app 😃

Great app. Since I don't have a digital pad or a tablet and only have a small phone, I tried to use this app to draw digitally and it wasn't bad as I expected tbh. I draw by using my index and use more than 1 layer to draw. It's not really that hard and I clean my lineart by using an eraser (this needs patience). Colours that I need are available. But I still find it hard to draw on my small phone but I don't really mind abt it anws.

I prefer the old version, the recent update one is really annoying. the recent one, I cant see the type of brush (no image of brush provided), the quality of drawing became poor, no color picker tool, no max zoom, no back button (always failed to save it), when opening the item screen turns black and so much more to list. I like the old version MORE! ps: I gave 5 stars for the old one and 0 star for the update one (no update please!!!).

It's pretty simple, easy to use, and let's me do fun things with layers and images, and editing. To note, when making tiny shapes, such as an eyeball, which is wonderfully easy to color, the blue shape lines around the circle are super thick and intrusive on such a small oval that it's hard to position it.

It's honestly a good app, i like the brushes and the differant textures they give off. Unfortunately i could not find the color option so i could not change the color. It would also be nice if you could tilt the screen and move it around, instead of zoom in and zooming out and side to side. It would really help to turn it upside down or something. Other than that it is a really good app it ran smoothly and i didn't have to buy anything.

I'm just trying to step out of my comfort zone and try some new drawing apps. This one is nice I guess. It's just some tips but can you guys add canvas rotation please? And some glitch happened too. When I was zooming it'll teleport me to the other side of the canvas, some weird flashing, and layers added by itself. Anyways the app does what it supposed to do so good enough. Also you can draw using your fingers with this app, it's not impossible and quite easy. Just practice more on fine lining.

I really enjoy this app, I'm saving up for a drawing pad and this is wonderful practice in the meantime. It is so much easier than drawing on paper, it takes a short while to get used to drawing with my finger but after a while that is not a problem anymore. I give it 4 stars because I would appreciate it if a smudge or blend feature could be added but otherwise it is a great app, it works on my phone and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to draw. Thank you creators for this app!

Very smooth and easy design art app. Not too complex, not too simple, it's just the right complexity for me

It's a little hard to use. And there aren't a lot of tools to use. Maybe i'm just not the right user. I'm sure younger people might find it useful, but i wouldn't use this app if you want to pursue in art. But if you need a doodle pad, this app might work. But i wouldn't use this app if you want to be a profesional artist. But A for effort though.

I love the app! Though it could have a wider range of tools, it is the best drawing app I have ever had! You are able to have as many layers as you want, you arent limited to a certain amount of colors, and you dont have to pay for anything! I recommend this app and I got it after my old app crashed. :)

This is a very useful and fun app. Just amazing. The only 2 complaints I have is that 1, there needs to be a brush that gives off a fading affect, and 2, it says that it can convert your photos into images on your phone, but it doesn't do that anyways, so they should fix that. Taking a screenshot is just as good though. Other than that, I greatly recommend this app.
