Ever since the last update my indoor temperature is not accurate. This is triggering a daily error, 'Your device Air Conditioner is set to a mode that may not be appropriate for the existing indoor and outdoor temperatures.' It makes the Auto mode useless but when I try to just set it to cool, this error is triggering. One night it kept recording a temp of 60 and wouldn't turning despite it being 72 I my room. It seems it is using the outside temp +/- a few degrees to determine inside temp

This app has only gotten worse since first installing it. The app itself is slow to start, but functional. The smart home integration however desperately needs updating to bring features back to Google Home that existed previously and are now missing. We can no longer adjust temperature with voice assistant, and the AC unit is frequently reported to be in "eco mode", when that it's not a mode available on the physical unit or remote.

All the sudden the boost mode for my Midea AC/ heat pump wall unit isn't working via the app. don't think it's even available on the remote. It was working two days ago. also the app has changed how it shows fan speed and modes. I do not like it. it's a balmy 20° fahrenheit outside today and this really bites. this unit has never correctly reported the outside temperature either. I think maybe it did before the first update but never again after that.

Bought an AC unit to improve sleep. It's helped, but really wishing I'd bought a stupid one. I have it scheduled to turn on every night at a certain time using the app. Can't use the sleep mode though because it frequently turns off the fan. The most recent issue is that it turns the led and sound back on frequently during the night. I may have to permanently remove the little speaker.

My rating is for the app only; the actual product (portable AC) would receive 5 stars. Ever since transitioning from the previous app, I've lost all control from Google Home and am having trouble getting it to connect to the new app. I know it's my fault for choosing to buy a "smart" device, and I think I will just use my Flipper Zero to clone the remote and set up an IR blaster that can be remotely controlled. The AC is very effective, though.

I'm using this app with my Midea U-Air Conditioner. For me, the greatest feature is being able to set an on-off schedule. I only gave it 4 stars because of the scheduler. The scheduler only allows on & off or a 12 hour sleep curve. Instead of shutting the air conditioner off, I would prefer to be able to change the temperature without having it shut off, then start with a higher temp, then later on, have to have it shut off and turn back on at a lower temperature.

the app is tricky to set up for my Dehumidifier, and worst of all, the text is so small, even on my larger screen phone, that i cannot read the humidity percent text, even after tapping on the device to open it. the animated picture of the dehumidifier takes up very little space, and i feel like they could have moved the icon to the left with the power button icon, then put the text info about it to the right in larger font. otherwise all the control buttons are there, same as on the device.

Every day this app gets disconnected and doesn't reconnect. I have to delete the device and then add the device all over again. This doesn't happen with just me, happens with my wife on her phone as well. This is by far a horrible app and needs upgrades immediately to fix it's issues. I already have to delete the app. Reinstall the app. I logged out. Logged back in. My wi-fi is extremely stable. No problems with any other devices. The problem is the app.

I was able to easily connect to my Midea Dehumidifier after transitioning from the Midea app. I am able to easily check status, and power the unit on and off as well as adjust settings. But I am unable to get push notifications of any kind when the water tank is full. It shuts off as designed but I get no push notifications so I have no idea that it shut off. I have to manually check it 3-4 times a day to see if the tank is full yet. I have checked that notifications are all set on my phone.

Just splash screen. App wont open. I have lost access to my devices. I want to remigrate back to the app that worked fine. Edit: the reply below is obviously a stock response, but I did all the steps that I could (logging in is pretty impossible when the app won't even start, let alone deleting devices, given the app has never started). Will email the address given, but don't have much hope. Very disappointed, and I'm wasting so much time for such a stupid thing that worked perfectly before.

I can not overstate how much I hate this app. Have to pair my AC unit to the app after updates and it keeps changing my set temperature while I sleep. I keep waking up in puddles of sweat when I set my unit to 69 degrees when I go to bed and wake up and it's set to 73. I sleep hot, always have, so I use a lower temp at night than during the day. It's like the app reverts to the previous temperature setting at some point. I regret uninstalling the old app, worked far better.

No dark mode Takes forever for the app to recognize the a/c unit When selecting a preset for the a/c, it often sets it to the opposite of what I want; I have a preset to 60 degrees C, when I select it, it often sets the unit to 86 degrees instead My presets specify to have "eco" mode off. That is usually ignored when trying to recall a preset. I think the presets are just full of bugs.

Absolute garbage. With each update they make, it gets worse. This latest one erased ALL FOUR of my ac units. Then, when I try to register anything, it claims my email is verified... but it also won't send anything to me email because it's also somehow unverified. What a joke. *Update* 8/20/24 This app has somehow gotten worse. If I want to change the settings on multiple units at once, I literally have to close down and restart the app for each unit.

For AC control, the plus/minus icons are far too close to the surrounding adjustment slider. For example, I want to adjust from 64 degrees to 65 degrees, so I touch the plus icon. But the touch is detected by the slider instead, instantly setting the desired temp to over 80 degrees, which especially shuts down the cooling completely. I set it back, but it takes several minutes to respond and start cooling again.

Terrible app. I don't know what changed, but as of a few days ago, the a/c unit keeps resetting itself to 86 degrees Fahrenheit. I followed the instructions provided to other users 1)Clear cache and storage 2)Log out and log in again 3)Power off a/c unit wifi for one minute 4)Reconnect - This did not work. My unit reset itself to 86 degrees within an hour later.

It was really convenient being able to adjust the air conditioner without getting out of bed and being able to turn it an hour before I get home but the harassment level pop ups asking me to add a new device every single time I unlock my phone got to be too much. I tried turning off every permission that I could but 50+ times a day, there it is...every time I pick up my phone. Every. Single. Time. It got so bad that I had to delete the app.

After reading the reviews of others and the data sharing disclosure for the app, I decided to uninstall it without signing up. Many people are unhappy with this app because it is not reliable and replaced an app they really liked. Also, the data sharing disclosure is clear that they will share your personal information with 3rd parties. Ie, they will sell your information, leading to increased spam and threats from bad players. It also states that it has access to your photos. No thanks.

Great app for notifying me when my dehumidifier is full, however, after recently buying a second unit, I wish the app would tell me the name of which device is full! I also wish the app would send me a notification that the filter needs to be cleaned (currently it only tells me when I go into the app itself). Lastly, I like that it's easier to turn continuous drain mode off/on with the app than by pressing buttons on the unit itself.

I'm not able to connect to the Toshiba microwave. When I'm attempting to connect, the only appliance type listed is a water dispenser. Occasionally, the microwave pops up as an option, but then I'm looped back to the wifi after choosing it. It's an endless loop. I could have gotten a much cheaper microwave if I knew the features this one boasted were subpar.

Every time I've had to switch to the "New and improved" app, it has been less and less stable. The original app that I had when I first bought my ac had a couple issues but it worked 99% of the time. This most recent one seems to struggle just to connect to the ac and then once it is, it can take upwards of 30 seconds for a command to Mahe it to the ac.
