My experience with this app was good until my last order with them. Felt there was a lack of support when things went wrong. I had place an order for a restaurant where I was picking up food. The app had a "happy hour" pricing that I saw, but when the happy hour pricing ended... Instead of notifing the promotion ended, it said the items was "out of stock". The UI makes it easy to place an order without without confirming price so be extra careful. Generally a bad experience.
Something's seriously messed up with their location based restaurant list. I've ordered probably a thousand times from Starbucks and have never ordered from the wrong location. Somehow this has happened to me twice with this app. The first time, the top location was 5 miles away and the app didn't show the one 1 mile away. The second time I double checked and somehow it still went to the wrong city?? If fixing location suggestions is hard, how about a simple map on the confirmation page?
App made the purchase for me at wrong location. I had location on and also link to the right store. But this is what they told me. So I lost my reward points, my money and my time. Hey, there I can see that the store's location is indicated in the name. We always encourage our customer's to check the store and order details before proceeding with the check out. Very useful when it works. I don't know if there's a setting I need to fix or if it's just the app bugging out, but the app is very picky about when it can show me the available locations. When I'm at home, there's a wide variety and I can even search. But the times I'm at work and try searching, only one restaurant shows up and I can't even search anything. I hope this gets fixed, because it makes ordering very convenient, especially in the current situation.
App is good for food pickup and slightly less consistent with delivery compared to other services. From a functionality point of view, the app does what's needed and does it quickly. What's mostly driving down my score is the fact that discounts simply do not work. You are brought to a menu stating "choose one" with no options. This is quite frustrating, and is the primary reason I wouldn't yet give this app 4 or 5 stars.
Extremely buggy. Completely non functional if you don't give it location data. This app doesn't need to know where I am all the time for me to order food for pickup, but when it can't get the location it prompts me to select it in an infinite loop. Once given location data, it did do what it was supposed to but the menu sections were buggy as well. I uninstalled after it prompted me for location data to give me notifications.
It's a convenient app, especially during COVID. But, I got banned for some reason, I eventually got access back but support would not tell me exactly what happened and apparently if it happens again I'll lose access forever. Both annoying because I have no idea how to prevent that from happening again, or if there was some real issue like fraud or something, I don't know what it is. I've never had this happen with any other food apps before.
The service is great but this app is one of the most buggy ones I've seen. It's still usuable which sadly this means that they probably don't have much motivation to fix the app. I hit my first bug before I even use it. The referal link I got goes directly to the apple store on my android phone. I mean, if you can't apply the code automatically at least redirect me to the right app store with a message telling me how to use the referal code. It's not like that you don't have a website to link to for exactly this. The second bug hits me right when I start using the app. The register screen layout is completely messed up when the on-screen keyboard pops up. The "next" button got moved way up to directly behind the input box making it very hard to proceed. Has anyone ever tested this? There are more annoyance during normal uses. The app simply refuse to remember anything at all and keeps asking me where I am even when it's clearly using GPS to locate myself. I just got asked 3 times within 2mins and one of them aborted the order I was trying to place. It also just crashed ones when I was looking at my past orders right now...
FAIL: adding payment method failed Requires more than avg personal info to create an acct but we wanted the bonus so we entered in the info. Took the time to enter in our entire order, was asked for pmt method, and after entering in card details, it refused to accept them. Pressing add card didn't result in any action. We try 3x w 3 diff cards before aborting. Just ordered directly from restaurant. Having worked in e-commerce, this is the worst kind of failure - at the end of the entire process.
The service is handy, however to sign up to get rewards, the ap requires an email in addition to your phone number. It's overly restrictive on the email requirement, however, and doesn't allow adding a '+' sign in your email, which is a deal breaker for me as I then can't properly filter emails from services.
I love the Smoothies and teas from MTea, but this app is now just junk. Once the order was placed you used to get a notification that your order was completed and afterwards, you would see a clock counting down until your order is completed. Now you don't see that anymore so you have no way of knowing that you actually made the purchase and no way of telling how long it's going to be before your order is ready. Please fix this so I can continue making mobile orders.
App is fine, but PLZ stop showing that annoying "SEND GIFT" pop-up. I will ALWAYS choose "Throw away" because 1) I'm not interested, and 2) your product manager thinks that "Throw away" is some kind of psychological jiu jitsu, but it's just insulting. Give me the option to PERMANENTLY disable that annoying pop-up, and I'll add a star.
The app has been having issues lately and today would not even load; or when it did it was only for a few seconds. For the developers, what I am currently seeing is a black screen when it's trying to load. When the app is working, it has been decent, although not many offers near me. It was frustrating because I was trying to place orders, but app not working, so I had to leave the downtown campus area, after paying for parking.
Couldn't even sign up. It accepted my contact info but the screen was putting the continue button ON THE TEXT but then when I tried to create a username it rejected about 9 valid usernames. Not because they were taken. It kept saying they didn't meet the requirements. I carefully checked the requirements and they all did.
The app has simply been horrible for the past two weeks. Oftentimes it won't load and if it does, it will freeze after less than a minute. When it won't load the only thing I can do is to restart my entire phone so that I can go through this cycle again. This is ridiculous. (Edit): They seem to have fixed it l. It works without any problems now
App is useless to me. It requires you to turn on location, and then won't let you search for or place a pickup order at a restaurant 15 miles away, because it's not"nearby". Glad it knows better than I do where I'm eating lunch...
There are a lot of bugs in the map and restaurant selection part of the application. For example, when I press the icona to show the current location, it does not take any action. Return from the map button does not work. Most restaurants seem to be closed but they are open on another phone. I hope it will improve and experience. - my phone: Google Pixel 3A XL
App is great when it works. But sometimes when ordering, it "freezes" up - meaning the touch screen just stops working. Usually happens when I'm trying to checkout, so I close the app, reopen, and then have to go through whole order again. Very frustrating and not sure what causes the buttons to no longer respond to the touch.
Why did you remove browsing the map??? Now I can no longer browse restaurants near me, so basically I never order with this app anymore. This is WITH location permission enabled, which is terrible because they share/sell your location data with 3rd parties! Newly broken: Vote for new restaurants button doesn't do anything, same with collecting coins button
I loved this app, used it for over three years, placed hundreds of orders. One day I tried logging in and was told my account was disabled and I needed to contact support. It's been four months and I've been unable to reach anyone at Snackpass about why my account was disabled. Atrocious customer service.
