My collection has disappeared twice! I have added my collection (well as many as I could due to MANY of my fragrances not being listed in your app) and twice now they have suddenly disappeared when I have added a new fragrance to my collection! This is incredibly frustrating as I had over 60 fragrances listed in my collection. I don't know that I want to take the time to add them all back in again for the 3rd time Update: Once again, another update and my entire collection list was wiped out!
I like the aesthetics but I wish that they'd add more inventory. It seems that they only focus on niche and designer brands. However, there's a lot of affordable brands that aren't in their database and therefore I can't add to my collection. It comes off very elitist. Another issue that I'm having is latency. It takes a very long time for the app to open or to transition from screen to screen which is very off-putting. I do love you can follow other users, chat, post stories, & layering combos
The app's design is pretty, clean and friendly, but I think the fragrance's review can be improved, like adding the time of the day, and event appropriateness (casual, work, fitness, etc). The database is good, but not nearly as good as Sniff's competitors. Data seems very reliable. Lastly, what irks me rhe most is that the app is veeeery slow and freezes a lot on my Android device, which makes it impossible for me to do anything more complex than add my SOTD 😞
So far, as apps go, it's okay, it's got a long way to go as it's in it's early stages I'm sure, it's missing something 'The Perfumist' App has got, I think I love to make lists and this app doesn't have that yet, though I like the scents collections as this can show great promise in matching up to future perfumes. I'll review my thoughts again ina few months of use
So many great features, but little in terms of interaction with fellow users. Adding new fragrances to your collection is an absolute pain when they aren't to be found. There should be a add fragrance suggestion area. It feels like the app has been getting ignored by the devs. There's little reason to keep using this app.
Not sure if the servers can't handle the number of users or if the app is loaded with bugs, but it's just not working at the moment. Nothing happens when trying to search for anything, and none of the articles or any other content loads. All that shows up is either an empty page or the "loading" symbol.
Poorly optimized( i hope it's because of the fact that it just realeased, im in the first 1000 downloaders ) and it takes a long time for everything to load. The brand database is poor. For ex, the brand Lomani isn't on there, even though it's quite a classic and popular brand within the cheapies. Or Ted Lapidus Also, the concept of the app seems like a mix between fragrantica and the perfumist. Nothing original at all. The only thing I like is the design. It's clean & modern.
Love the slick and modern design!! The app is aesthetically pleasing... But ... The app tends to lag and crash. It's difficult to organize a large perfume collection. There should be a way to organize perfumes in alphabetical order and move them. I also dislike that the reviews are limited to 300 symbols. You can't post longer reviews. There's no option to edit reviews or organize them. There's no note/reviews section on the profile.
First time I downloaded the app, I uninstalled it after a few days. I've decided to try it again and I'm still unsure if I will actually use it. I really like the wishlist section, but I think it's lacking personal notes functionality. I would like to add annotations against the perfume I tried before deciding if I want to buy the fragrance. I try a lot so I do forget if I liked or disliked perfumes and why.
So far, I like the app, but I immediately see two issues. First, I would like to be able to add scents to my collection that aren't in your database. Second, it would be nice if there were a way to contact the app development team with suggestions, bugs, requests, directly from the app. This is especially important with a new app if you want us to continue to use.
The idea is there, in principle, however the app lacks fluidity and a lot of fragrances that still cannot be found. It's the start if a journey that is still in its infancy. I LOVE the idea, similar to frantica but more cleaner, professional, minimalist and designed for frag heads. At the moment, it's feels very clunky, slow, and theirs a lot of fragrances still missing that I cannot find. It needs more features and optimisations to make the app great.
I've been Playing around with it all evening. The platform is a less thorough and informative Fragrantica. . But appearing as a modern version with prettier pictures, and minimalist clean page layouts. It's a little gimmicky as the links don't always work, and I've found there to be errors. Eg, below the image of Dama Bianca, there's a very brief description which talks about Lira (not even the correct perfume)..but it's new so hopefully just teething problems.
Forever loading, after every step you need to wait and wait and wait while it figures out and move to next step. It is the slowest app ever used. It feels like servers are too overloaded just to process any requests. I have Galaxy S22 ultra with latest updates. And app still crashes time by time as well. Generaly it is impossible to set profile and add info in it.
Looks nice doesn't work most of the time. Nothing loads and you can't see any of your perfumes. I checked my internet and I had fast connection. Crashes a lot I gave up on it and uninstalled it. Such a shame its a good idea.
I can't log in 1st time to put in a password. It automatically did it for me and gives me no option to erase the dots -which are supposed to be my password. I can't get in ! This is 1st time I've downloaded your app so this is perplexing. I have a screen shot if you'd contact me .
I enjoy it, needs some polish. Some bugs, but overall good concept, some improvements over fragrantica. Fragrantica's userbase is the most pretentious, toxic group of reprobates I have ever seen. I hope that this takes off and gets the kinks ironed out and polished a bit more. Allocate more server resources, fix the code so it doesn't have buggy crashes. The owners seem like nice people, don't crush their dreams until they have a chance to make some tweaks and improvements.
When it works it's nice. It's incredibly slow or just shows blank pages when searching. So many fragrances aren't on there that are on Fragrantica and overall I find Fragrantica to be a much better experience all around. Maybe one day it'll be better but for now, I definitely cannot recommend. On top of that the founder is very elitist and judgemental of other fragrance lovers.
Such a beautiful app. Simple and clean user interface and has social media like features. However there are a few things that can be improved. The notes section should categorised the top, middle and base notes. Should add accords section.
I'm trying to create an account but the calendar for the birthday won't go away after I pick the date. I can click next but the calendar just stays on the screen and I can't go further.
I downloaded after hearing about it from a frag group I'm apart of but I couldn't get past the sign up page. I put my email and password and hit next and nothing happens. I would like to try it though it has potential.
