Sonic Forces: PvP Battle Race

I love this game, I've had it for a few years now. The graphics, audios, characters, and abilities are all very very unique. My only criticism is the Vault. I finally decided to purchase it during the Blossom Amy and it was wonderful, you can redeem the prizes at any time. However, it costs $9.99 (USD plus tax) and I believed it was only a one time purchase, meaning you kept the vault forever, but you don't. $9.99 seems like a lot to ask to continually buy the vault for each seasonal event.

Been playing a few days now. Definitely one of the better mobile games out there. From a free2play perspective, it feels fair for what it gives you. There's a lot of units, and the character balance isn't that bad despite it. Ranks matter as much as your reflexes, and match-up knowledge. Ads are a bit much; almost one every race, and the races are quite short. You can stop that with an just one in-app purchase, so it's not the egregious. I just don't spend on mobile games anymore.

I have been playing this games for a very long time but in the last few months I have noticed, more and more frequently, that it freezes when I go to my missions. I have to close it and reopen to do anything. Today I literally tried 10 times to get missions to open and it froze 10 times. I can race, open chests,basically everything else. it's so frustrating because I really like this. Am I the only one?

So many bugs. The game freezes nearly every time you open the quest screen. It has visual artifacts in the games (all the objects have a black box around them) about half the time. And often when you allow an ad to play it plays the ad and then gives a "we could not load an ad" error message, blocking you after that from opening any more chests with ads. It's a fun game when it works, but it doesn't work correctly very often.

Buttery smooth, wide variety of characters, tons of levels, & ads don't interrupt; you only choose to see them now! It can get a bit grindy & unfair, especially if you only pop in weekly or so. I'd enjoy a "Don't show again" button for pop-ups, but devs gotta eat, I guess. I have Sonic 1 on mobile & it has the option to pay to go ad-free. I'd KILL for the option to have that here! Also, please add a "collect all rewards" button. 🙂 All-in-all, despite the flaws this game has, I'd download it!

I've been playing this since '03. so I can safely say its a good game. I did take a few months break. I recall why I left. the time it takes to obtain new characters is very strict. you basically must play constantly during am event if you hope to get the new character. this aside. the characters and move sets...the variety is immense and this is a true sonic game. its very satisfying and will keep you coming back. there is in game purchasing options but you certainly dont NEED to.

I like this game. However, ads have been slowly taking it over and it soured the fun. It started as an ad for a boost or a free chest. Then ads started coming after you played a few rounds. I draw the line at an ad after leveling up a character. Ads should never be pushed on the player to the point of stopping play and progress. I won't come back unless ads are removed from level up and from end of matches.

The game is fine - you run, and dodge things, and try to hit the other players(?) who are also trying to do all the same while striving for first place. I had a hard time seeing obstacles and was constantly stumbling. A round is about a minute long, then you spend five minutes clearing your notifications of which Sonic Friend you have 1/90th of, tell the game you're not interesting in buying the Shadow pack, and do it again. Feels like there should be a better way to kill 5 minutes.

Generally, this is a fun game. The things I don't like are the constant pop ups to pay for things and the infinite options to spend money. Opening the vault for 9.99??? Are you serious? Also, the option to play with your friends sucks. You can only do 8 races or something, and you don't even get any rewards from it. The characters available are great. Graphics great, no lag. I just wish paywalls and ads weren't shoved in my face every 5 minutes.

Very amazing, innovative game! I love the characters and hope to see more. The chest system is great unlike other games, and I feel as though I'm never strapped for Red Rings (special currency). The controls are amazing and I like how the characters are unlocked; maybe add customizations for characters to choose different power-ups to replace the shield? Overall, this game is for anyone who is a Sonic fan or not, and likes games that don't force you to pay money in order to win. Thank you f

The game is fun, until it becomes annoying. Frequent and loud notifications. There are frequent reminders to buy stuff in-game. They very aggressively pursue your cash. Always with buy this bundle or you need this pile of game currency. It is non-stop marketing. The ads are bad as well. They pop up a lot and are designed to cause a player to click on them and when that is done a new window opens bringing the player to the play store to download whatever game was shown in the ad. The ads are very repetitive and boring. To gain characters and level your existing characters you need to open chests. They can be unlocked with stars or ads. Only the low tier chests can be opened with ads. It is a shame that the game has so many ads and options to buy worthless gold and stars. I would have been willing to drop a five or ten spot to buy the game without the currency system.

There's many characters to play as, it's fun racing other players in battles, and the way to unlock characters is pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is that the trophy system makes no sense. One time, I played a battle and loss trophy's in 2nd place. Also, I should never lose trophies in 3rd or 2nd place. Despite this, this game is still good.

The game is phenomenal. It plays decent, there's a wide selection of characters, a rarity in sonic games, and the unlock system is fair. However, in 2020, I feel that Decent play is not the best we can do. The game is also a little bipolar with how it plays. One round, it's ok. Not perfect, but nothing is. The next, it is so laggy, the game is nigh unplayable. Another thing going for SFSB, It looks amazing! Overall, it isn't perfect, but nothing is. 4 stars!

I honestly find this game pretty fun. Cast of characters is good, gameplay is fun, and it's just an overall good time. However, I do have one major issue with it. That being event-exclusive characters. I actually had this game before, but I lost all my progress, which included a level 5 Super Sonic. Since the event's over, I'll never have the chance to get him again. Maybe do what Sonic Dash is doing and have them available to purchase with money once the event's over.

The game is fast paced and fun, but the races are short which is a great choice for a mobile game. There's a huge cast of characters and each has a unique skill lineup. The characters are easy enough to get as F2P, but paying $5-$10 can get you a nice boost if the character you want is in the shop. My largest complaint is the random crashing. You'll be mid race and the game freezes, costing you the win and any rewards. If they get the crashing fixed this game is an easy 5 stars.

For a mobile game, its pretty fun. The reason why im giving four stars is because of special event card distribution. The fact that the least you can usually get from an event challenge is 5 is really annoying, and it mostly prefers to give me the minimum. I get this is to persuade you to buy Tail's vault, but still, I feel like the guarantee of 5-40 cards is more like 5-20 sometimes. Final thing, a dash-like infinite mode where I can use any of my characters and their abilities would be sweet.

Really fun and well made up until a certain point. Focusing just on the game itself, I was really enjoying it the first few days I had it. Unfortunately, the further you get the more unfair it seems to feel, with overpowered characters such as Eggman, Gamma, Chaos, or Infinite who constantly spam items to the point it's pretty much unavoidable. This wouldn't be much of a problem if they weren't in EVERY RACE. It seems more character than skill based at higher ranks so better have a good one.

There is a mind numbing amount of ads. I feel like I spend 50% if not more of my time watching unskippable 30-second-a-pop ads. The worst is when they show the same ad 20 times in a row. Gameplay is fun if you can get a good connection. The matchmaking is broken. Expect to either be a way higher or lower rank than others. Coming in 2nd place shouldn't lower my ranking when the #4 guy goes up in rank. I wish there was a way to level up characters I like/use instead of 100% pure randomness.

Pretty good, fun game, and it can be pretty addicting, but the chests take a lot of time, and spending money is the best way to progress, since it's basically the only way to get the vast majority of characters, and very few event characters get another chance, so it's rare to be able to get them. Also, some of the newer characters seem more overpowered than others, like how Neo Metal Sonic (the newest character as of writing) has multiple abilities that seem nearly impossible to dodge.

This game can get a bit glitchy at times, but it's not that big of a deal. Also, I think you should add sage from Sonic Frontiers to this. Honestly, I'm surprised she's not already in it. (Added part of comment) OK, I love this game, but I absolutely hate the new option to watch an ad and get to use a character for free now it was fine at first until I realized that the character they would get would be at max level that is a completely unfair advantage and you should at least lower the level
