This is easily the best decibel meter app I've ever used. Has more useful features than all the other apps (the others all are missing one or two things, this one is comprehensive) and the ads aren't constantly popping up every 15 seconds. Only downside is the remove ad cost is a bit more than the others, but the ads aren't very intrusive so it doesn't feel as necessary.
Nice, a free tool that's useful and even usable without pulling your hair out waiting for ads to end. Has some features that I'll never need like recording or saving graph data. I'd really like to know how accurate it is without calibrating it but if I had a device to calibrate it with them I wouldn't need the app. I was able to get the basic information I needed and compare sound levels.
This is the best app I have found, I'm using a Poco f7 pro and have an independent sound meter which enabled me to calibrate it. I had to add +22 which seems a lot, but once done the meter is good. Other apps I tried were closer to where they should be sound wise, but adverts or not being able to set the time interval for reading and similar things made me pick this one. Calibration is important though as some apps I tried needed to be reduced and others increased. Each phone model is different.
I installed and then had to uninstall this app. Once opened, you can't exit the app. Once opened, all the usual Android buttons and menus disappeared. I tried the usual things to exit the app. The thing that finally worked was Android's "pull-down" system menu accessed by swiping down from the very top of the screen. It was the only piece of Android's UI still accessible.
I've only used it for simple volume tests. Works great for that & compares the decibel level to things like a quiet library, conversation, etc. I only allow mic/recording "this one time" so there's no chance it will listen at other times than when I'm specifically using it to test decibel levels. I've not done a thorough check as to whether it ever starts up on its own. Seems like it doesn't, which I prefer. Will update if I find out differently. I prefer simple apps with my control. TY
I use this app daily to record my lovely neighbors 24/7 bass from subwoofer (not easy & still working on it) . I like the different weights you can choose, dark or light style, love that you can record & save though! Super helpful!
Hi there it's Dr. Paranormal Official from Tik Tok, I definitely would recommend this App for anyone, including those in the Paranormal field,, it's quick and the information is very well laid out there 5 star rating for me.
This is the coolest app I've ever seen! So easy to use, and once I have saved the sounds it recorded,it tells me what the exact minimum and exact maximum are! That's so cool! I would recommend this to an audiologist or anyone who's interested in sound or audio.
Tbh not that bad. I dislike when an app that doesn't need to removes my navigation, however, I hateeeee when an app removes my navigation bar and replaces it with an ad.... Trying to close the app, means 50% of the time the ad gets pressed and the app isn't closed plus a pop up opens. Beyond annoying, and stupid. Downloaded today, delete the same day. On to the next dB meter app
calibration support. good measurement without calibration. small and non disturbing ads. good ad placement. day and night mode. easy navigation. good visualization. can record audio. no mic selection. 5 stars if I can decide which mic to use.
Simple and intuitive. Give you average decibels over a period also.
Highly recomend, great app! Detail, presentation, format and features are 5 star. In particular the ability to record the sound you are measuring. However, i have no other device to verify measurements but readings. appear to be consistent. Ads are intelligently out of the way and I have seen none that force you to watch. This developer did a very nice job.
Very neat. I like the dial display. it is intuitive and easy to use. the add on the bottom is unobtrusive. the one-time purchace of 4.49 is a bit high IMO, but a good deal if you are a sound tech who might use it frequently.
This is a great app. I'm using it to track the bass from my neighbor's music that plays 24/7! I tried another app but the ads were so terrible you couldn't even try it. My thanks to the makers of this wonderful app. Because of you, I'll be able to provide the evidence. You can't hear the beat, but you do feel it. Thank you, thank you!
A good looking app with a very clear interface. I'm now looking for a reference device that I can use for calibration. The one thing that would be useful, is to be able to select which microphone is used for 'listening'. My Samsung phone has two and the app only uses the 'bottom' one used for phone calls. I'd rather it was the one on the top of the phone, because the display is upside down when pointing the bottom one at the source.
works beautifully. Great for setting up cinema setups if you haven't got all the high end microphone gear. Just set the rears at the volume you want first then work through the rest of the channels so they play at the same dB as the rears where you sit works great have no faults.
Most apps of this type are very disappointing, but not this one! I can measure in dbA and dbC, and it has a bunch of other useful features. I find the decibel readings believable, but I will check them against my professional meter when I get a chance.
I am an electronics technician, I am deaf, and this program helps me a lot, both in my professional life and in my daily life. I am 100% satisfied with your program. I also liked the civilized way they presented the advertisement. If you change anything, you'll ruin it. Congratulations!
App works well, has good functionalities and nice UX. Good job!
this uses a low amount of installation memory is easy to use and does all you need. It reads decibels and tells you when it is too high. Exactly what I wanted. Thanks👍
