Sound Recorder Plus: Voice Rec

If you provide your app as a free or even a trial version, at least allow the user to use it effectively! I may have liked it. Hence, buy it. Furthermore, asking for a monthly payment of about $10??? NEVER!! In the free version, you seemingly allowed to configure the quality of the recording which defaulted to 44khz. Having years of audio editing experience, I can tell that was not a 44khz quality. Even 48khz Wave did not make any improvements either! Uninstalling!!

It's really good. If you are recording speeches, taking notes, need reminders. I had been using this app for EVP and honestly, I have to say that it is way better than amy EVP recorder app I've used. you can slow down speed as well as raise volume extremely high. got to say that I am not disappointed at all.

It's a great, simple, and very consistent app, that has seriously helped me keep all my ideas together and organized without using up so much memory like I was before, but now all my spontaneous melodies, lyrics, and guitar riffs for songs when they come to me are all conveniently in one place and labeled well so I can find them quickly. I'm sure there are things I could say to improve it but I won't cuz it's worked well for so long I don't want to end up causing what no one wants. It's perfect*

Recorded five band songs and lost them all when changing file location in the app. So don't do this: I selected "File Location" from Settings. Navigated to the Music folder on the SD Card and created a new folder. Said "yes" when prompted to select the folder, and "no" when asked to move my files there (I changed my mind). When I returned to the app, my files were gone, and the files didn't appear in the new folder I had created. In other words, the app deleted them. Thanks alot! Argh....

I've been using this app for over a year and I love it! It's far superior to many of the other recorder apps available. And I must have tried at least a dozen before I started using this one. It's very simple to use and you can name each recording, which makes for easy playback. Even with it being a free app there are NO ADS!!! The recordings are clear and undistorted when you play them back and it can pick up sounds easily from quite a range. You won't find a better recorder app for free!

Wow. For my purposes I personally would prefer to not be able to edit or clip the recordings, but I very much like that it's an included feature. At this point I haven't seen a single ad even though it is free, the audio coming through is very clear and is not distorted by sound pollution (I used a microwave to test), and it is exactly as advertised. A free, high quality, easy to use, audio recorder. One more thing. Nadia, in reading reviews, I sure wish I could leave five stars for you.

This is the best audio recording app I've ever used. Seeing the audio envelope while recording assures that you are capturing the sound as intended. You can name your files. The ability to edit an existing recording is a godsend. Whether you are composing poetry, music, or a memo, you can easily find the recording and continue an idea whenever inspiration strikes. And unlike some other recorders I have tried, it records continuously. Some others I have tried left gaps in the recording.

oh...my....stars......(you only get 1) The most recent update is the WORST ever! I have used this app for a while now, and subscribed to "Pro" a few times. Without Pro, the ads are HORRENDOUSLY OBTRUSIVE and IN YOUR FACE!! Ads take up at least 1/3 of the screen, and in between recording anything or switching screens, you get a pop-up and/or video to watch. Not only that, they've changed their prices. The devs must be desperate. Pathetic. I'll be looking for a new app...

This is the very best recoding app cause if you can push a red button to begin recording then again to stop, then save then you have mastered the skill needed to operate Recorder Plus. I especially like that i can press "record" then continue using my phone,surfing etc while it continues recording til I stop it. It's undetected by anyone else in the room! I love that it will record for hours,not just, say,7 min as many record apps do. But what is its download size? I can't find that info.

This app does everything I need it to do. Crystal clear sound up to 50' away. NO background static. Runs in the background under other apps. It even continues to run when the phone is dark. Oh, and no ads! The programmers commitment to excellence shines through this app like the midday sun. If your surfing for a voice recorder, search no more.

This is my first day using this app and I am very impressed. The ad banner is in a location that is non-intrusive. The audio flows perfectly and milliseconds are counted. I have been able to categorize my audio files and seemlessly edit my recordings, like picking right up where I left off and continue recording without confusion. I love this app and look forward to supporting your project and going for the ad-free experience, for less than the price of a regular coffee. Awesome app. Thanks 🙏

Guys... I got this app to record songs on, so I wouldn't forget how they went, and legit... I went through the voice recorder apps, just trying to find one that didn't have in app purchases (cause I hate those) and this app is AMAZING!!! I recorded a six song Christmas album on my Mom's old iPhone (it was bad... Family only). I can't wait to record songs on this app and put them on YouTube. My voice comes back clear, you can hear the guitar easily, and there's no background noise (7 kids). 😍😍

Simple app. Does what it says it does, records audio. Very intuitive UI, so it's easy to get started. You can record files as MP3, WAV, or AAC. There are some options for audio quality customization in settings. You can name the files as you save, or keep them as numbered recordings. Recording quality is as good as the microphone you use. If you don't want ads, pay a one time fee to remove them. No subscription necessary. Thank you, developers! Edit: Loud ads now play in between each recording.

This is an amazing recording app. You can just about record any concert, nature sounds, speakers or music withing a noise filled room, hall or outdoors. It's amazing how clear the quality is. It's almost like it knows which sounds your trying to capture or record and it does it intuitively. It's an amazing app. I just wish it didn't cost. Overall it's great! I totally recommend it. It's easy to use, easy to find recordings and is a great recording tool!!!

I have used this recording app for a while, I'm a musician it sounds pretty good when I'm records. I wish U would put in one important factor that truly needs to be added on, becuz if a call comes in or an app is sending something in email, phone calls, clock alarms, ok Sunday I noticed In between my recording it automatically cuts the recorder off and U don't know it STOPS, U have to start over again what could have been a beautiful set, now U have to start again recording, please add, thanks E

I used this app to record my favourite songs off of YouTube and they come out sounding so good, I love the fact that I could use this recorder with wifi off, but that it doesn't change the sound. I have had other voice recorders but I like this one the best, the sound is great and if you are looking for a wonderful voice recorder then I would definitely choose this one. Not to mention that it is free and very simple to use, I haven't experienced any problems with this so far. I'm very pleased

I had high hopes for the Sound Recorder Plus, but I deleted it after a couple days for two reasons. First, finding recorded files was like looking for a nail in a haystack. Second — and the real deal breaker was that the app took over as my default audio app and nothing I could do could fix it. Every audio file I clicked on was hijacked. Waste of time and money. 4/22/25 Response to Developer: I tried the default app setting and your app still took over. Only restored after deleting the app.

I love the app. I would give it five stars if I only knew where the sound files were being saved to on my phone. Also, it should be pretty easy to offer a convert to/save as option with the choice to save as mp3. Can you please pass this on to developers? And if you can find out where the files are saved I would really appreciate it. Thank you

Do not use this app! It doesn't just show you ads, it completely takes over your phone and gives you no option to close the app or use any others until after the whole ad plays. It also forces you to the advertisers website if you try to find a way to close the ad.

Just downloaded, no adjustments made. Recorded two sentences and tried to listen. Speakers on and turned fairly high but playback does not start. It shows the ll stop sign rather than an arrow > for playback. Nothing audible and red dot does not move along line. So tried saving: then I can play back but the sound is speeded up about 5 times, and I can see no way to change speed down (speed up you can click on, but not down).
