Do you even know what the definition of 'breaking news' is? Push notifications about something regular is not breaking, it's not newsworthy in most cases. This app is nothing more than a RSS feeder - loaded with ads including interstitials - that shows just a glimpse of an article, then one anyway have to open one's browser to read the article. It's better for users to subscribe to a web-based RSS service in their browser. *The developer gets another downgrade after their condescending reply.

I would not call the contents of this app breaking news, 99% of the content remains there under the "top" stories for days on end, when there is new news and you try to read it the whole screen is filled with ads and somewhere between all the ads are one or two lines about the actual story. not worth the effort of trying to find what the story is about

Unrest, South Africa. Wow. I don't have a TV and during the time of unrest I had to stay updated with the latest news to know what was happening to us. This app gave me that small peace if mind in an incredibly difficult time. It is worth all stars I gave and the download. You can set your city and get local news as it comes out. There are loads of other features I have not even looked at yet, I'm sure they will be great.

Although a good platform for links to all news sources, there are far too many ads in this app, including unwanted video ads, consuming data. Surely you are getting paid by the news sources for hits on their site, deeming this unnecessary. There are also too many push notifications, with every new article being 'Breaking News'.

I'm kept up to date with fresh breaking news at all times and notified with pop up notifications on my cellphone screen of the latest news, this App has proven to be very practical and useful, thank you 🙏

This app doesn't work u will be wasting your data if you download it... I mean even the radio is better than this app what a waste of data and beside there are many other ways to get updated about news instead of relying on this useless app it just kept loading forever then all of a sudden it needs to be updated and that requires amount of money to update it so please don't repeat the mistake of downloading this useless app

Information incomplete and some incorrect, found 4 incorrect entries with totally incorrect content, I've informed the content/incident owners to contact you. Way to many adverts, Find some other way to make money, perhaps then your app might be worthwhile

I'll be honest and say I absolutely love this app - I do agree with a few things that other say - about ads and repetitive stories - I would love to give you even 10 stars but you have to do sonething about these scam entries about the making money and phone me and I'll share the nonsense with you - man it's got to stop its the most annoying thing when you read all comments - please stop them being allowed to post that nonsense as it's most unapropriate entry under any topic

I appreciate the app, they only way to improve the app is to include some indication that the news is for 'subscriptions only it would save me wasting my time opening it. I am a pensioner and if I were to subscribe to all the news articles I would be bankrupt. Ian Prosser. Durban

Advert overkill, find it hard trying to follow a news story when I'm being overwhelmed with advera and the mobile screen is reduced to 60 of its size due to adverse taking up all the other space. Note to other developers to use this as a prime example of how not to implement adverts

Initially it required all my personal information in which case I'd prefer not to install. It however Installed without having to supply details & seems to be running smoothly. Nice & informative app to have but too many app notifications

The only (very) negative thing is the ADS that pop up all over the news pieces, to try to catch you to, by accident, sign up for a R10 or R15 a day thing! 🙈

Irritating interface. Click on some headings only to open many more headings and no article. Fullscreen ad popups but not as often as IOL app.

Love this app as Information is accessible before I could even hear or see it on other media platforms. Language use is simple and easily understood. Keep doing the good job of informing us with news around the world.

The adverts in this app are overwhelming. The adverts interfere with the user experience and it becomes a click bate frustration. I really don't mind adverts but this is rediculous.

I always like to be up to date with the news. This app keeps me updated and on top of my local and international news. I am a sucker for good challenges comment wise on articles and this app allows me the platform to do so.

Great app But if you using algorithms to block comments it's not working!!! And if you using staff even worse - because then you are bias and news apps are not suppose to be... STOP Blocking 🚫 Factual comments that are truthful-not hurtful or derogatory 🤬 And STOP allowing people to place adverts in the comments platform 😠

Not a bad app at all, but I get so sick of the lack of control of (scam) comments which are not related to the news articles. The developers seriously need to get a handle on this.

Too many ads. Ads, ads, ads. Hate it. Not a nice reading experience. You want to see news articles with details, not ads.
