I liked the game due to it giving you multiple options to progress without needing to pay a dime. The games art sytle is very pleasing to the eyes and the campaign is quite fun. Throughout the game it gives you dollars that you can spend to get the yellow battle pass. That feature rewards grinding heavily instead of rewarding buying which is a pro. Inclusion the game is very F2P friendly.

Hadn't played this in like 3 years, when it first came out. I must say its gotta be my favorite card deck building RPG. Its also incredibly hilarious, just like the show! It gets quite challenging, though. I had given up at level 30 when I stopped playing before, but I studied my cards and made a good adventure deck to beat it. Cards take a lot of money to level up, which takes a while to get, but you can repeat levels and you aren't barred by any energy limits or anything so its very doable.

The campaign is fun, until it's just a grind to get materials and cards. The PVP matchmaking is as bad as any game, and worse than most. I thought that it'd get better, after I advanced a few levels, but it's consistent that you'll face players that are 3-5 levels higher, with cards that are all leveled up, sometimes 2-3 levels above yours. Maybe there aren't enough players, but that seems unlikely. I guess it's just another micro-transaction driven game, made to frustrate new players and get them to buy their way to being competitive. It's a shame, considering how much fun it could be. Update: Went to 1 star for all of the hackers. Probably 20-25% of all matches have an opponent dropping 15+ energy, right at the beginning. Don't pay any attention to their "zero tolerance". It's definitely about a 20-25% tolerance. Update after the usual cut and paste response: At a brand new level 8, I was just matched up with a level 16. They. Don't. Care. Hey...add in server issues and that they kick you out and won't let you login, if you report issues with the game and it adds up to never purchasing another Ubisoft game again.

Game is fun but since the tutorial haven't had any fair challenge, just over powered cards. So I try leveling up my cards, which just makes me higher level and therefore have to face even higher cards. Months in, this cycle has not rested. It became obvious the point way to proceed in the game is money. Feels like a big waste of time at this point if you don't buy anything.

game is fun and concept is good. card art is good. this would be 5 stars if the pay-wall in the game weren't so strong. It only took a few hours for both PvP and PvE to be impossible to beat. I won't pay to win. However, I do want to support developers. if there were full functionality through a small portion of the game, and then I had to pay to unlock full access to the rest of the game, I'd pay then.

The fun factor is there, no doubt about it. In game purchases are wildly, outrageously overpriced to the tune of being able to spend $20 to partially upgrade one level on a single card. I hate to say it but this is a prime example of a game charging whatever they can get away with just because some people will pay that much. It's a trend that ultimately hurts gamers and gaming as a whole.

[Original] This is an okay game. Has a lot of elements from some of the top free to play card games. But is not daunting when it comes to in app purchase. Be warned though, there are issues with hacking that still needs to be updated. There are also bugs when it comes to the health bar and attacks. [Updated] I played a game just today (1/26/2020) and there are extreme performance issues. Where units will lag back to life and still maintain the powers they use. It's still broken.

I haven't played this game in 10 months. I wrote a harsh review. Bought a new LG Stylo 4 recently and had space so I figured I'd mess around and play since I had spent so much on cards. The game literally won't even load or download assets. Freezes at loading screen. Any other major game I have no issues. It's sad because this had so much potential but it seems that no amount of resources is helping this game succeed. If you still play good luck, derankers and speed hackers are still a huge thing, as are the Stat resets that blindsided all of us at the beginning.

The game is fun, a bit challenging, and cosmetically intriguing. If you liked watching the show or playing The Stick of Truth you'll probably be fairly entertained by the dialogue and shenanigans of the characters. It is rare for a mobile game to challenge you, make you laugh, and cost nothing(though there is an in-game shop that isn't necessary to succeed). PvP is also difficult, but not impossible. I don't even like mobile gaming, but this one I'll endorse. 😁👍

Decent game, Horrid matchmaking. First I have to say I have played this game on and off for a few years. I have noticed the same problem each time I pick it back up. The matchmaking has no level of tier. Me at level 10, rank 2018, and I am matched against a level 15, rank 2580. I win MAYBE 1 out of 25 games because the matchmaking is terrible. When you don't hit someone 5 levels and over 500 rank higher than you; you will find MANY pay to win players.

I would not play this game since it has been abandoned by the devs. There are no more balance updates or changes coming. While it has a bunch of fun references and charm, you'll quickly hit a roadblock in pvp where everyone is playing the same broken cards. Single player has a massive difficulty spike towards the end. Quests will require you to play this mode repeatedly. Shop prices are way too high. Legendary cards are $15+ and you'll need multiples to be competitive. LOTS of loading screens.

The game is good but there are a few problems that hold it back from being great. After playing through the story for about 7 levels it seems almost impossible to go back and play through the levels you've already completed because they are unnecessarily difficult to beat for no reason. And the multiplayer is pretty pointless because you either dominate someone because they're a level or two below you or you get beat badly because they are a level or two ahead. And you should be able to buy packs with coins or PvP tickets instead of cash.

Seems like a run-of-the-mill "freemium" game at first, but they put a lot of work into making this a great game. Only have to watch ads if you choose too. (It'll give you the option to watch a 30-sec video in exchange for upgrade items...theoretically, you could go through the whole game without ever paying a cent, or watching ads...i watch them, though, if the prize is worth it.)

I've been playing this game since release, and I'll happily change my rating back to 5 stars once my issue is fixed. Since the latest forced update, (in-game telling me I need to exit out and update) the game will not connect to my Google Play Account. I have cached data, uninstalled/reinstalled, and everything else I can think of. I have spent a few hundred dollars over the last 2-3 years on this game, and am struggling as to what to do.

Edit: The game hardly runs now... Great game. You can watch ads or pay to progress faster but the game isn't obnoxious about it. I appreciate that and that's the only reason I've kept playing. Would really love if they would continue with updates and support for this game, there are still alot of active players and people picking it up for the first time. One complaint... I've had several PvP matches disconnect. When that happens both players lose, which isn't fair and sometimes aggravating.

I really like this game, I play it all the time.... but it's really obvious there's cheating going on. I've had two Wendy's on the battlefield, the other pvp person let out at least 12 energy points worth of character onto the battlefield at once, and just going on endless losing streaks. Great game, just bugged as h***. And it's just really tough to level characters up after a while. You need like 4 different forms of currency.

Have played this game on and off a ton since it came out and have worked my way up to level 40 out of 50 by putting in time but I no longer enjoy the game due to constant cheaters in PVP. There are people who join my clan who are level 9000 with level 1 cards. Also it becomes impossible to progress in the story once you reach a certain point unless you have spent every upgrade on the same cards since the beginning. My cards are all level 3's and 4's and cant progress.

The game was fun at first, especially the story mode. After getting into PVP though, it's less fun. The mystic class is vastly op. People purposely derank so you end up fighting people way stronger than you that you shouldn't be matched against. Despite many complaints about lopsided matchups, the powers that be will not implement any sort of filters or balancing algorithms. This led to me leaving the game about 10 months ago. I recently tried it again in hopes that these things were fixed. Nope.

This game had do much potential but of course micro trans greed showed it's face again. I can't even begin to explain how many times I've been cheated out of rewards with "oops!! There seems to be an issue with connection!" And it really truly is infuriating for a game that could be absolutely amazing with an offline, premium version. As im always about beating a game without paying to beat it.

Great game, and lots of fun. Slow progress if you don't pay to play. But it's still mostly fair matches regardless if you pay or not. But some characters I feel like you have a slim chance of getting without paying. But all around good game. My only issue after playing a few months, is, since today, after I received a software update on my galaxy S8+, the game won't load. It says login to your Google play account to play, there's also a retry, but just loops me back to the same page. So hopefully they get it resolved, at which point, I'll give it the full 5 stars it deserves. Update thank you for the quick response and getting the game up and running on my device again. Good job support team 😀
