I find it a bit clunky to use. I am very happy with the strong parental controls. I am thrilled the device is a watch and hard for a kid to just set somewhere like other phones. Many reviews of the watch talk about it being difficult to charge. I find I need to connect the charger, wait 10 seconds, check if the light changed. It doesn't change right away, but if it has not changed after 10 seconds it is not connected correctly. However, a better connection would be an improvement.

I've been using Spacetalk for almost two years now. Overall I highly recommend it to parents that don't want to give their kids phones, but still want to be able to reach them. My biggest complaint is sometimes the tracking just won't load. It will say the watch isn't responding, or it will spin forever and never say anything. I have to close the app and restart it, and most the time that doesn't even work. My child has complained of it being slow, not loading & being difficult to text with.

The only reason I have this damn thing is because its a requirement. 1/2 the time location tracking doesn't work. 1/4 of the time I cant video chat with the app. Texts are slow at receiving and sending. And no, it isn't my carrier as we have full service + wifi. Tech support is little to zero for the previous issue I had with video chatting. If it wasn't for contact block and sos mode, I would never have downloaded it.

I can agree with all the other 1 star reviews. Our first watch died quickly. They offer you a refurbished one which you don't have to take, we got a second one brand new. I can call my child but that's about it. The app states the phone is offline even though I'm right next to it and can see it's on and after I've just called it. The app can't find the watch on maps either. I try refresh location and get nothing. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

If you are considering buying this watch for your child, don't waste your money. Constant problems! The watch itself has a very temperamental screen so is difficult for kids to use. Location tracking is totally unreliable - doesn't update even with manual requests, the watch randomly isn't detected, constantly being signed out of the phone app. App needs major simplification, I just want to track my kid and be able to contact in an emergency. Neither the watch nor app are fit for purpose.

I was pretty happy with the app. The Loop was ok. Latest update changes the value proposition. I didn't want spaces. I just wanted to keep track of my kids, and they took away location history. Please change back. Now keep getting signed out and can't sign back in (fail to send code). The whole idea is to be able to check on my kids safety quickly in an emergency situation, which is not possible when this keeps happening. Considering just getting them an apple watch.

Extremely unreliable. If you are buying this watch for the safety of your kid please don't. You can't count on anything to work when you need it, from location to contact and messaging, you name it. It was bad before and became even worse after the last update. Customer service takes a week or sometimes more to get back to you to just reply with some unrelated pre set article about their useless product.

the watch works for 3 weeks out of the month. during the week of when the auto renewal its doesn't work and says "no connection" customer service is terrible takes a week or longer to get a response. im having the same issue for 3 months in a row and no one in customer service seems to be able to help me and isnt answering any of my questions. seems like they aren't reading the email trails. dont waste your money on the product

Bugs galore. Phone app and watch apps have most recent updates, but the app is not good. I am spending time completing things like routes, routines, and rewards, and nothing is saving after inputting. This is the app not the user btw. I am on Android. I have had Spacetalk for one child for over a year and just purchased another but there is no way you are going to get anyone onto paid if you can't have the basics working.

my daughter's watch, despite claiming it can compose messages, is not able to do so. I have written to customer support who were not any help then wrote again with screenshots of the issues.... no response for several days. app is not great at all. very disappointing. I've already advised that if they can't fix this issue in seeking a full refund.

Purchased the watch for my child 10 months ago and all was working ok up until 6 or so months ago when they updated the app. Now nothing works. I'm unable to see where my child is and he is now unable to call from the watch. the new version of the app is extremely hard to navigate. There is no contact other than email and they are just useless. Ive been paying for a service that literally does not do what it says it does. Extremely disappointed with the new app update.

app does not work to do basic things, cannot recharge service, now it's deactivated and I can't deactivate it. have been trying to get this fixed for 2 weeks but support are unwilling to answer the phone, return my calls, or even respond over chat and email. so very disappointed, this has been a great device and service for years, and the app and now your lack of ownership and response has failed you, and will kill any brand advocacy I and many others have. Do better

spacetalk app is the single worst product I have ever had the displeasure of using! Everything they claim are lies, doesn't do anything it says on the box and the service is a joke! Certainly would not recommend one bit! Can't recharge my kids watch plans monthly after almost a years use, now am forced to purchase 6-12 month plans. I believe they understand how useless their product is and are turning to lock us suckers in! So very unhappy and want my money back. less than 1 star rating!

What have you done to this app? It is absolutely shocking and not easy to use at all! Since you have changed it, my son cannot contact me and I am the administrator. My contact details have totally disappeared. I've tried everything to fix it, uninstalled, re-registered and nothing works. I'm now paying a monthly subscription for no service whatsoever! Fix it!

Constantly logs me out. Gives an error when I try sign in via google. When I try via email it works, but stupidly doesn't let paste in the One-Time code! All that to say that one of two Loop watches needs factory resetting all the time! Going get a refund on these at this rate...

Its an ok starting point, however ours gave overheating warnings, was hot to touch after phone calls. You have to subscibe to the app for a monthly fee and have monthly phone bills, addition fee. New app has been a headache, was given no warning, child came and said all my numbers have disappeared, I cant call.. Not great for safety! Update info was issued after the fact and was not easy to navigate! Its expensive and TBH glad to see the end of it!

Very buggy & unreliable app, this review is based on extensive use of the watch. Bought a NEW replacement watch due to the original getting water damaged (our fault)! 👉🏻 Location tracking not accurate, shows the location way off by 100s of meters! 👉🏻 Features at times won't work like currently wear detection is not working despite being switched on. 👉🏻 App is very confusing & it feels many features are hard to locate. 👉🏻 Unable to read watch messages / access call logs. 👉🏻 More......

We can no longer use our own SIM cards, which I did not know when purchasing the adventurer 2 to "upgrade" my daughters original adventurer. So she can't contact our family back home anymore. The new app is an absolute flop, and horrible to navigate. Can no longer delete contacts which should not be a difficult thing to do, but there is no way to delete or edit contacts PERIOD. Pretty much ready to go the route of a phone for my 11 year old because of spacetalk. AVOID.

Really disappointed with how the team have handled a mandatory upgrade with no support. its been a month and critical issues still haven't been resolved. no regular progress updates, nothing. We are sad as we only bought this watch a couple months before this whole mess started, and enjoyed what it used to do. i held out hope this was a small hiccup, but I've lost complete faith that the company have the market's best interests at heart (child safety). we are currently looking at alternatives.

This has to be the most user unfriendly app I've ever had the displeasure of using. I'm reasonably tech savvy however I cannot see the chats or feelings sent anywhere. I get the notification that I have received it but it shows nothing. The app keeps logging me out too which is annoying af. Please fix it because it worked fine for the previous two years before the app/watch update.
