Stopped working about a month ago. Nothing was changed, same phone just regular updates from the app and that was enough to make it useless. I did call technical support, nothing helped. Reinstall and added the card again, same problem. Sometimes it works but most of the time not. Basically not reviewing our sending the signal.
The main problem with the app is that it makes me enter my password from time to time, even though I have set it up to use biometric. I'll use it for 4 months with biometric, then all of a sudden I'll have to enter the password... I don't remember my password (I know, my own fault), so I'll try what I think it is, and end up locking myself out. Why can't it just stay configured using biometric? (I think before the update, I never had this problem)
Easy to navigate, even though only absolute basic information can be translated into English, everything else remains in German. My biggest problem is that the money is never accurately shown on app or in a timely manner- it takes days, sometimes even weeks for purchases to be shown in the app, and even then it's on hold- all in all, you never know how much money you actually have on balance
This app is not remotely intuitive. I have several UK banking apps and all of them ask for verification via my phone - here I need an entire app to verify a transfer. TVore passwords and log in numbers to get confused by. I did a transfer payment at the beginning of December and now I find that on December 28 the transfer capabilities of my app have been cancelled! I wasn't even online on the date that I'm told that this capability was cancelled. Banking apps should make life easy?
One of the main reasons I opened an account with sparkasse was that they had English as a language. when i opened the account and logged in to the app, only a few words were translated automatically. I have used a bank account as an international in another country, it was so user friendly including language!i regretted after opening a bank account with them.Even push notification for transactions has fees! i think they still need so many updates for a user-friendly banking app.
well, it took several visits to the bank and several months to actually enable online banking. at the same time, they would be sending email to me which I couldn't access. i don't know, it seems like they are doing everything they should be doing, without actually getting anything done. well, now I have access (finally) and have spent the last ten minutes looking for where to cancel standing monthly transfers. ... with no success. frustrating and inefficient.
very difficult to use. I have bank card and I can't make any payment with it. it's so imbalancing to go too the shop and after buying groceries and later to pay, it denies. not happy with their services and I wouldn't recommend this bank. they act like we're still in the colonial days
Used to be an easy to use App, but for months now and living in the UK, I can't use several functions such as inbox, chat bot, nor email my contact person at the local branch. Always get an error message. Honestly, this isn't very helpful at all. Only via laptop I have access to all features, which obviously isn't really useful.
Solid app on the surface as an English speaker. But under the surface for intricate settings like card control, all display language is by default in German language. Having an option to change this would be extremely convenient.
3rd world countries have a better banking app than this. Doesn't even give you notification when money leaves or enters your account? You can get scammed overnight and still be sleeping soundly.
I found this bank a little limiting. There is no saving account, child account and/or credit card account - latter not so important, included in this bank when you use the App.
Absolutely terrible. EDIT: after a couple of years of using this app, I'm changing my opinion. The app isn't absolutely terrible anymore, it's now close to useless
Plesse just copy the ING App. Your App is a catastrophe, sorry. You find nothing, the handling is awful, extra App für TAN etc.
worst app in the world. every time i open it i need a new qr code mailed to me. i need to set up my account with banking password, and an app password, then do the same thing again in the pushtan app i have to have for no reason. and then after i verify my birth date and also my card number, it still fails and requires that they send a qr code for verification from Germany to me in the United states. completely ridiculous and unusable. i might just switch banks.
The app has been generally awesome, but I haven't been able to login in from the last few days. It keeps crashing and showing me the login screen every time I log in. 🙁 Please fix it
the task I tried to complete with this app that's Barker provides it is very frustrating app and this is the reason why after 18 years of having a bank account here I have decided to close it that was the task that took me nearly all day to do I have to phone two people although those people were very good and helpful.✌🏼Andrew Keith Sinclair. but now I'm very ready you don't have anything to do with Sparkasse app. Or & the Sparkasse Bank . I'm very relieved to not have this account anymo.
Some of the wording is very strange and seems to be Denglisch, e.g. "waiting on fingerprint" And why can't I change the language to German? It's getting more buggy and complicated to use. User friendliness is getting worse.
No notification when account balance increases or decreases. I withdraw money from ATM or I pay something at a shop online or offline, the balance does not change. The same is when I receive money from my employer. Also please make the products pages also in english.
We've moved to Germany 2years ago and this must be another joke! Hard to tell which is which. Tons of passwords usernames pins to easily forget, hopefully does not function per Post!( But I'm sure that there's such a point where it does!) Too many separate apps for online banking... And I cannot even manage anything. Worst online banking experience I've ever had, nightmare.Just take a look at Turkish Banks' online apps: simple, comprehensive,fluid and fast. Oh, they've been such a breeze to use.
With recent changes I get multiple pop-ups that prevent me from quickly checking my account balance. When I open my banking app I need to quickly check my finances. This is not a doom-scrolling app. Please fix this shot Show.
