UPDATE - we decided to go ahead and subscribe. she started discovering other games on the app and is really enjoying it, even if there IS an issue. ************* Our granddaughters were having a blast with this, but it froze up on our tablet when it when her favorite game would get to a certain spot. it worked fine on our phones, it just happened on the tablet. ended up canceling the trial, but only for technical issues.

This app is cute but not really what I was looking for. To everyone that is having trouble canceling the subscription, I guess there are two different ways to purchase the app and cancel. I tried to cancel through the website, and it said it couldn't find my account?? Weird, but if it does that to you, go to the play store click on your picture in the top right corner. Go to payments and subscriptions, then subscriptions, and it should let you cancel from there. I hope this helps!!

my children absolutely love playing the games here. but to my shock I clicked on doing a one month subscription and was charged for $65 for a year!!! Please BEWARE when allowing them to have your payment info!! I've tried emailing them for a refund multiple times and haven't gotten a response. I'm becoming very stressed because I need this money back. when it's returned to me I will change this review, but for now that's a lot of money I am losing sleep over.

I was having trouble with the app freezing, so I went to the Playstore to check reviews, noticed it's a common problem. Also read the many complaints about cancelling trials. I could not cancel from the Playstore as it does NOT show in subscriptions. I went to the website & cancelled there. **Be careful** to click on the CANCEL button (not the 'change' button). ALSO be sure to go to the payment section & REMOVE payment from their site! It's a shame because it did seem to engage my grandson...

The app was anazing until I got a new phone as it wouldn't allow me to log in on my new phone for some reason, and I was charged. I tried canceling, but it has been a nightmare. You simply can't just call customer care to resolve your issues. Keep this in mind before paying for this. Also, the games are detective, I thought it would open up levels as she advanced, but it didn't. It became repetitive. Maybe you need to pay to get new games, idk. other than that, it was great.

We're on day 2, so far so good. Edited from a 5 star to a 2 for the deception and poor orchestration of this app. Initially my child had a lot of interest in the program, but that quickly turned to boredom with no new speech tools added in the full year we had the subscription. At renewal, there was no notice and it went straight for the yearly subscription, at $89.99. I sent complaint to stop charging me and received a confirmation they would stop. Then today an email for an attempt to charge.

If i could give this less than 1 star I would. The HTML website is super broken. No matter what hyperlink you click it takes you to a subscription page. Even when I signed up and subscribed it still doesn't give you access to its features. So after 7 attempts I was able to get to the page and cancel the subscription. It charged me $59.99 anyway even though it states it charges AFTER the 7 day trial. So I was basically cheated out of $59.99. They also have no customer support. DO NOT USE THIS!!!

Not worth it. There is a 7 day free trial you can do before getting charged, so I went with that option considering I might not even like the app, which turns out, I don't. Well after giving the app a try, right away I did not like it. When you click on one of the activities it just takes you to a video of random kids pronouncing different words then shows you a picture of what they're pronouncing. I do that already with my child! Definitely not worth paying for.

I got the free trial. I canceled the free trial because it was supposed to be $29.99 to renew it. The app offered me a deal for $14.99 a year to renew for a year instead of the $29.99 a year, so I took the $14.99 a year deal, but then days later,I was charged with my credit card for the full price of $29.99. I sent them an email so far my review stands. I am angry and I have been deceived completely from them! My stars will not change until they resolve my issue completely!

This is a scam! I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months now, and they don't show an option under subscriptions as it says it should be it just shows you more subscription options as if you don't have a plan but you keep getting billed monthly. I reached out to customer support and nothing. Just reached out again after this I will be reporting this to my credit card company as fraud! Save yourself and STAY AWAY!!!!

This app costs too much, I'll probably cancel it after the first year unless they add a bunch more "Build A Sentence". It took many tries for my sons to be interested in trying to repeat the words, but now they do. In the activities where the kids are teaching a new word, it would be great if they added a picture of the word in the corner of the screen while the kids say it. Otherwise they hear the word pronunciation over and over without necessarily getting the association to the meaning.

Trying to decline the subscription during free trial. The app states you need to visit the play store to change your subscription, but there is nothing there. I went to the website and also couldn't find anywhere to cancel. I sent an email and the response said that they will review and get back to me in 48 hours. HOWEVER, due to high volumes they might not respond for up to a week. Not looking forward to having to fight for a refund when they draft out a fee for a subscription that I don't want

Generally really good. But for an app that's supposed to help kids learn to speak, there sure are some weird pronunciations of some words. For example, the color gold is pronounced "gode", in the sports section the word ball keeps getting pronounced "baa", milk is pronounced "melk", and so on. If those things were fixed, I would rate this a 5. I also would love if they had offline features available.

I tried canceling the subscription before the 7 day trial is up and when I went into my app then subscription, nothing was there. I even logged in via website and there was no option to cancel subscription. I emailed them and they said due to high volume they may take up to a week to respond. I am thinking it's their way to keep us locked in for the subscription. I think it's very deceiving when you do something like that. Please cancel my subscription

it's really cool and I love how we can individualize it with the kids photos and the games are pretty nice too, and my little guy loves it however, for the amount this app costs a month, it shouldn't lag as much as it does. The mobile ans tablet versions of the app are different and do not register with one another when using, which is really unfortunate. We may be looking for something else if this continues...

After reading a lot of reviews I decided not to go with the "free trial" so they say. What developer instead of giving you a limited range trial through the app decides to try and jump straight in your pocket. Like just make it so you can use the app for a day or two. Don't just assume it's ok to blindly trick ppl into a subscription based service...

It's a nice app, but it's no where near as useful for speech practice as it used to be. My daughter used it a couple years ago and it was a great set up for introducing a word and letting them practice saying it several times. Now the app is mainly very simple vocabulary and games. It does not fill the need of my child who needs the repetitive practice speaking. It also is not age appropriate for older kids. It's perfect for preschoolers, but my six year old is not a preschooler.

The concept is great! However, it's not the greatest with animal sounds and the extra video clips of the word are super weird and confusing at times. The girl making that is supposed to be making the horse sound sounds like a donkey which can be VERY confusing. This app does help with some things but confusing sounds and video clips at the same time. Also, a toad is not a frog like in one of the video clips. I could really go on about a lot more but those things mentioned stood out the most.

My daughter really enjoyed this app. Recently i was logged off, reasons unknown. After signing back on, all my daughters achievements were gone and the section she played the most was as well (the only one that held her interest and she constantly returned to). It was just there two days ago! She really enjoyed doing the puzzles and the itsy bitsy spider. Sadly, we already paid for the year subscription (only option given, so beware)

NOT A FREE APP! They reel you in with a free download but after getting personal info they THEN sell you (monthly subscription) the app before you can actually use it. His speech therapist has it. The mechanics are fun and interactive. My non-verbal toddler showed interest and even smiled for it. However our budget is just too tight to be able to afford this.
