The game itself is so much fun but you can't progress without spending money. If they took away the use of gems for the upgrades or made them obtainable by beating the levels (like the coins) this game would be amazing. The membership price is also insane... You can buy this game for the switch for less than a single month of membership on here, and the switch version does not have these issues.
it's a fun game, but also an example of catching flies with honey vs vinegar, and they chose the vinegar. too many pop up ads. I would willingly watch more ads for the rewards they offer, but I refuse to subject myself to more ads regardless of the rewards that I want because there are just too many. I'm sure you'd get people more interested in playing the game for more than 4 levels as well if you made the ads optional. the rewards are enticing enough but the pop-ups are deterrents.
This is one of my favorite games but I am addressing minor problems about it. One problem is the amount of ads it actually messes up gameplay. Another is paying for the decorations like in the Krusty Krab or Salty Spitoon. The last one (for me personally) is aquiring the clothes because the ads don't work all the time even when full so it makes it just a little more difficult, the krab dollars is fine. If these were fixed then I would give this game 5 stars.
Its a fun game, at first i thought it was impossible to play without using real money but you just have to keep decorating, level up, win awards, and watch ads to get diamonds. You can level up but it takes time (literally) and effort. So its a good game to keep you busy over multiple days. Its SUPER glitchy though. Freezes a lot (sometimes killing my serve streak), sometimes doesnt serve people the dish I click on, and currently it wont even load the game at all 💁
So let's talk about the ads. They keep crashing the game, if you already have the app they are advertising, it will force that open..... Very annoying. I came on the playstore to see if there was an update but there wasn't, so I guess they don't realize it, or just allow it to keep on doing it so you will buy something in the game to end the ads....... The game is a blast though!!!!!
I had fun when I first downloaded this game. However, requiring diamonds for kitchen upgrades, when diamonds are way too expensive and rare makes the game quite frustrating. The free rewards are pitiful - watch an ad for 1 diamond when it's 15 to upgrade just one piece of equipment? Also, frequently after completing levels and getting scored, I'm stuck in the kitchen with no customers, and must completely restart the app. Seems like the game was rushed and is just a cash grab. Shame.
The game is fun. The problem are all the glitches that take my coins and don't give me nothing I'm purchasing or its benefits. The first time this happened and I reported it my coins were returned to me. When the same thing happened in a different area of the game I was told I can't be ”compensated" for the same problem. So apparently it can glitch all at once and I just lose my money. I spent a little bit of real money on it but not a lot and you could guarantee I won't be spending anymore.
You can see from kilometers at a distance that they took advantage of the brand of SpongeBob to make a game to explode you and just for the money. They'll put a video of advertisement every 3 minutes. Furthermore, there's a part of the game incredibly dumb, and that is that you have to use coins AND gems to unlock upgrades (upgrades that last up to some hours to be delivered to you) so you play a lot to earn the coins and still you can't upgrade your kitchen to get further into levels.
I used to be OBSESSED with this game. Rediscovered it, and was so excited to play it. First issue was the glitches. Finally got informed of a loop hole and the glitch was fixed Yay🤗. Now come to find out, there is ad after ad. Literally after every level. Why is this a new thing? I miss being able to play it uninterrupted..So hard to enjoy this game anymore.
I love this game already. It's like a mix between Cooking Craze and Cooking Diaries. The levels are fun and I do like the ability to decorate the restaurants. The pancake stand challenge event though I kept failing the 4th level; no matter how fast I went, I couldn't get enough likes in the time limit. Even with the jellyfish waiter, I still was behind. I ended up buying some gems and increased my timer that way which was the only way I could beat it. Yet level 5 was extremely easy.
Super addicting and doesn't get boring. There are a lot of levels and different places which come with their own stories. The art is amazing, thought the movement of characters in cutscenes seems a bit awkward. Note that this game does get harder, and you need to be wise on how you spend your diamonds on equipment based on what it boosts or else you'll need to slowly collect diamonds through ads, achievements etc. This game is full of ads though, be prepared for that.
It's a super fun game, especially if you grew up watching spongebob. While the lines sound corny in text, it makes me smile because I hear it in the actor's voice in my head. It's a typical mobile game with deals and occasional ads, although I like that they're spaced out well. You don't get one after every single level, plus you can get rid of the ads with any purchase(which can be $1.99+). The levels do get pretty hard, but overall I really enjoy the game!
It really is a fun game- until you can't play anymore. Like with many diner/food service games, you get upgrades to your kitchen as you progress. Which is fine. But these upgrades require you spend both coins (earned by playing) and diamonds (mostly earned by spending money). This isn't right! There should be separate upgrades which don't require actual money. And if you dont get upgrades, the game becomes impossible to progress in. Fix this!
Fun game. It is possible to get through all the released restaurants without spending any money. You can't buy all the upgrades because gems are required for them, but you can pass the levels. I haven't gotten a ton of ads, maybe one 30 second ad every 3-4 levels. I wish the controls were more refined. The trash function is the worst when you miss the food and tap something twice, then fail a no trash challenge. It was also frustrating that the currency changes from one area to the next.
Great game! Super fun way to pass the time. I think the difficulty progression is done very well, so it doesn't get super frustrating. The events are motivating for when you finish each stage's main levels. Some glitches here and there when finishing a level or with the character sprites, but it runs very smoothly. Only complaint would be the "hit boxes" for any given item. When you have to select multiple of the same item, it sometimes registers it as you trashing the item. Can make you loose!
The game is really fun, though I've found a glitch. In the decor menu, at least on my game, it's stuck. I'm only able to access tables and fences. When I click on the others, they stay highlighted but don't show the options, and doesn't register as that i looked at them. And it's impossible to upgrade anything, it all costs real money if you want to upgrade any kitchen items, characters, don't quite understand the upgrade process for the characters other than it went up when won clothes for them
The graphics are almost exactly how I expected. They were amazing. The gameplay can be stressful sometimes. Though I think they made it that way, as it is like that one cooking fever game I used to play. And with the phone I use, the buttons are a teeny tiny, teeny weeny bit hard to press at times. Not an inconvenience though. From 0 to 10 I'd rate this, 10/10 would play again, and again.
The game is fun and I haven't needed to spend real money to progress because there's so many events that reward diamonds you can participate in. However, the biggest issue I've experienced is when I'm trying to buy new kitchen decor. One or more of the tabs (table, floor, wall, hangings) won't work it'll highlight, but it won't show you any of its options. You can't buy or even see the options so you can't fully upgrade any stores because they all have this problem.
Really good game, overall its not bad, gems and boosters come to you often enough to advance, but you dont need them to pass levels. The only issue I find is the double click feature to discard food. It gets in the way and most times I don't intend to discard the item, but the game registers any click nearby as a double click. It almost feels like I click on the item and the game lags behind so when I click on it again, it registers as a second click. It's so frustrating and discouraging.
This is a really fun game, but there are a few issues. I have run into a bug where I have to restart the game after beating a level because it stays on the level as if I am still playing it. I don't lose progress or anything, I just have to restart the app. I also wish gems were either easier to come by or you didn't have to use them to purchase upgrades and just had to use more coins. Other than those few small issues, fun gameplay, good storyline, & just a fun and challenging game overall!
