Square Pic: Photo Editor

Pretty good. Does exactly what it says and has a bunch of different backgrounds. There also aren't a bunch of annoying pop up ad's which is definitely a bonus. Something I feel that could make the app a little cooler would be to include a feature where you can pick another picture to use as the background. Other than that I like it.

Does what it says on the box, allows pinch scaling to crop. One thing though, I wish there was an option to default over right if you had at the same picture more than once. It's a little frustrating because I tend to save multiple times while working out of habit. I don't need screenshots of every save a long the way, I only care about the final one.

Something's wrong with the app. I've uninstalled it and then installed it again, that didn't help. I have storage on my phone I also know where files save so I have checked everything. For some reason when I press "save" in this app it actually doesn't save to my device anymore.. Idk why this has happened. But for now I'll be forced to delete this app and find something else that works the same from the Google Play Store. I'm genuinely disappointed because I've used this app for a long time..

Easy to use and it used to be convenient without the ads. Now it has the pop up ads every single time you need to just add a square background. Turning a pic into a square takes 5 seconds. Pop up ads takes 20seconds or longer. No longer convenient. I get that developers need money from the ads, but users still don't want these. I'm switching to another free app that is as good or even has a higher rating, that's also without pop-up ads.

Love the app and the filters. Very functional app. The one thing I don't like is how I can't change the save path to my sd card. It gives the "Save Path" option in Settings, however, after following all the steps, my photos still end up being saved in Device Storage. Consequently, I have to manually transfer my photos to a folder on my SD card.

Decent features and output looks good. For simple edits it's very quick, and it let's you jump straight to Instagram for posting. User interface could be a little bit tidier, but it's easy to use. I only wanted blurred borders to make square posts for Instagram, but Square Pic can do way more than that. It would be nice to have a batch mode but that's probably a niche usage.

I love this app. However there are so many ads I cannot get the work I need done. I'd otherwise give u 5 stars but the ads are sooooooo frustrating. **I was asked to update my review but ads are still ridiculous and 15 seconds long at that and it forces you to watch it or you can't edit another photo. So I'm giving 1 stars. Too bad cuz the concept and tools are great and I'd even pay for the app if that were available but you are losing me cuz of ads. I value my time too much. Sorry.

I actually love this for so much more than instagram, yet I love it for instagram! Square pic goes with me on every new device I own. Y'all Get rid of the able to deal with advertisements. It seems the longer you have square pic the less ads there are. Please Square pic. Even though they're not that bad they are aggravating and they usually wake up my baby. However they are not constant like some app they are dealable

the app itself works great but i have one big beef with it, it compresseses the photo. for example i was doing some astrophotography so i had to use a higher iso value, so there was a bit of grain but it wasn't overly noticible until I put it in this app. the grain was amplified and everything looked gross and overlooked. If you care about photo quality i would give this app a pass, but if you don't really care it works okay.

It's a pretty cool app. It allows me to make change image size in order to match different social media platform standards, and I'm able to make collages by using several images together. I can also add a bit of artistic elements via text, stickers, and frame effects. It's a pretty cool app. 😎

This app is AWFUL! I can't do ANYTHING without an ad playing. It doesnt even show up on my screen! I close my app, the ad sound still plays. I force close the app, the ad sound still plays. I put my phone to sleep, the ad sound still plays. I force close each and every app thats open in the background, the ad sound still plays. The app would be bearable if these damn ads wouldn't be at 100% volume (when my phones at 10% volume) and not be shown on screen. Don't waste your time with this app.

Extremely aggressive advertising. Full ad roll after each photo editing! Even if it took only a single action. Please, set a timer after which the ad will be shown, or activity count. Otherwise the app is very nice. But due to ads, uninstalled.

The cropping tool honestly works well. But this app is filled with ads that directly open online shopping apps such as "Lazada". The adds are also filled with countless of fake "X" buttons so you tap on them and they bring you to their website. Even after u wait for the timer to run out, another "X" pops out, and guess what? That "X" is fake as well. I was brought to another app 10 times for every pic I wanted to crop. If yall want a cropping app, definitely look for other ones instead of this

This used to be great!! I had this app for about 7 months and it was wonderful in the beginning. It now has wayyyyy to many annoying and long ads. I know they need money, but for every photo it's a bit ridiculous and makes the app much less user friendly! I hope they are able to fix this!!!!!

This has generally worked pretty well for me, but I'm extremely annoyed at the outdated cookie consent dialogue. You are supposed to switch to the more current version that has a simple "reject all" button.

If I could give minus (-) 100 stars I would. My phone froze and couldn't restart for 10 minutes after using this app for few min and only adjusting 1 pic. Never happened to me having this phone. I thought my phone is done. Finally after 10 min and trying to restart it came back to life. All these 5 star reviews must be fake. The worst. Avoid like a plague

So handy app, love the easy of use. It's fast and straight to the point. We need square - rectangular photo it's give the same no nonsense. Have cool additional features like background image/color selection, blur effect, adding text, snaps, crops and more. Loved the simplicity and fast performance. Have been using from my last 5 deceives 😘 #Highly Recommended

I love this app. There are great filters to choose from, as well as colorful backgrounds including, ombre effect backgrounds, or blurred mirroring backgrounds. I look forward to making my instagram look very pretty and different from the rest by using this app. This app is my little secret weapon. 😉

Please, for the love of God, make a paid version of this app with OUT ads!! This is, hands down, my favorite app to use when editing pics for Poshmark, Mercari, or even Etsy. But, when I have 30 pics that I'm trying to edit, a 5, 10, or 15 second 🙄 ad after every. single. pic. seriously tries my patience more than my 3 year old! I didnt even know that was possible! Otherwise, best & easiest app EVER to quickly make your pics square for the above mentioned selling platforms.

The best square fitter of you don't want your image quality to get affected. I looked far and wide for this one. All the other apps degrade the quality and some of them don't have the snap to fit orientation feature and you end up spending hours just to get the alignment right. This one is perfect...so far.
