Why is there an ad every time you fail. I spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game! I feel like this would be a fun game and deserves 5 stars, but I played for 15 seconds. I died and had a 30 second ad. I died right after that and had to watch another 30 second ad. So please tell me 1. why would this make me want to purchase your game? 2. why would this make me want to play your game? answer those questions and fix those issues and we can re-evaluate your rating.
It's a really fun game. There are tools to help get past obstacles, but I prefer not to use them. It took me a while to get anywhere, but I stuck with it. And the game became a fun challenge. Now, there are glitches that slow the game down and kill my player. And often, if I die, either the button to watch an ad to continue doesn't function or the ad blanks out or goes to another page and the app restarts. That especially sucks when the score is high.
I hate it! It is so addictive and fun to play! How dare you make a game that's super fun! Nah, but seriously good game but the ads are always gonna be a problem, as for the audio ads, dude just take those down. No one likes them. My main issue is that the game randomly freezes when I'm playing it, like mid jump freeze, unable to move freeze, usually it results in my death and these freezes aren't short.
Fantastic amount of fun and it's actually a real game just like the ad showed. This is not a scam, it is in fact the game advertised. But also it plays a full minute long ad between rounds, every single round, and some don't have an X in the corner, meaning I had to restart the game over and over. Played through maybe 7 rounds, then deleted it.
This is a good game oversaturated with ad revenue. This game plays ads when you start a run, when you die, even when you change settings. This is the first game I've ever played with audio ads running during gameplay. That's right: while you're trying to enjoy this stealth action platformer, some guy is telling you about how Ethel saved money by buying her groceries online. Gameplay is good, though. Might be worth buying the no ads, but my short attention span won't accept the $5 asking price.
I get having ads... that's fine. It's one thing to have ads periodically, It comes with the territory of playing a free game. But then there's also a banner in the upper left corner.....oh, and then there's an audio ad icon on the right that plays commercials, too. How did you all actually manage to fit the game on the screen? The character's a box, and the level is a random black platform. That's so much space you could have crowbarred another ad.....why not the background too? Uninstalling.
If you have this many people complaining about the same thing and your response is, "we need to allocate more resources" then that is a sign. 1. you don't really care about the game. 2. Don't expect improvements on the game. I downloaded the game and played 4 min. Got hit with 6 start level ads and 2 that played in a separate box that COVERS A SECTION OF SCREEN WHILE I'M PLAYING THE GAME, and CONTINUED to play while the next start ad played, two ads at the same time! 3.99 game at most
I had some high hopes for this, as the gameplay reminded me of the "Impossible game" from years ago. Like other reviews, the game is a great concept, and imo, the controls are easy to use. I do not mind the random generation of every level...but I have to agree that the amount of advertisements in game is just too much. More importantly, there is no offline play (which explains why the ads are so invasive...money generating). If you like always online and lots of ads, then this game is for you.
This game had a very neat concept but is completely ruined by the ads. You get an ad when you; start a new run, die in a run (regardless of if you pick the second life or not, the second life costs an ad), go to main menu, and even just during normal gameplay. You even get unskippable audio only ads while seeing a different ad. It's all just too much for too little. Shame such an interesting gameplay mechanic is wasted here on what is essentially a commercial break.
Meh. It's a cool concept. A simple platformer with the hiding mechanic as a fun gimmick. The issue is, the level is randomly generated every time. So there's no real progression in difficulty. Sometimes, you will get an incredibly easy level, other times, it's wildly difficult right off the bat. The game needs levels. That progressively get harder as you play. Also the ads are absurd. You're going to die a lot, especially in the beginning as you learn. And it plays an ad every single time.
This would have the potential to be a fun game but it's absolutely ruined by the ad system. Everything you do punishes you with another 30s ad. It's a trial and error game with a lot of random traps that kill you instantly. Every time you die you're forced to watch another ad, even if you only played for 2 seconds. Want to restart, watch another ad. Want any points for upgrading, watch another ad.. Download this "game" if you want to spend all your time just watching ads. I'm very disappointed.
Seems like a decently fun game but I didn't get a chance to play it all that much before i uninstalled because of the ridiculous amount of ads. Being new and not experienced at the game means you'll die a lot and everytime you do an ad plays. Overkill. And whats more, there was an ad *with sound* that played *during* actual gameplay. Less of a game and more of just an ad revenue farm. Sad because it seemed like it could be fun.
Like everyone else here says, the gameplay is really solid and actually quite fun. But having to watch a "skippable" ad literally EVERY single run is really frustrating and is making me Uninstall. There should be a timer such that you only have to watch an ad after hitting "Run" every 5 minutes or so. It's annoying when I die really early on in a run by accident, and then still have to watch 5-7 seconds of a skippable ad, that you have to press three different "skip" buttons to get through.
I'm not sure how much I'll play this in the long run, but overall it's a great game. No obtrusive ads, no in app purchases, overall just a fun experience. However - and it might just be me, but I need to know - it definatly feels like there is a plot here… it's just, to me, the gameplay feels so off compared to the graphics (not in a bad way, of course). Maybe that's just my ADHD brain overthinking a simple mobile game, but I just can't sake the feeling. At any rate, 5 stars for an amazing game!
This game is infuriating in all the wrong ways. The power-ups should be permanent and be on a timer that can be lengthened through currency. And there should be a number of lives before the death of a round. No one wants to learn a game and then get pelted by ads that waste time and make the experience miserable. The enemies are too fast, and the character is far too slow and needs to have a purchasable speed increase because this is ridiculous. got this game for tapjoy, frankly not worth it.
I really like the game but the ads are just way too much. I can barely go 20 meters without it giving me some kind of ad. Not to mention, there is usually constantly an ad always on the screen which is distracting from the game. I understand that ads are how you make money but it just feels a bit excessive. It really is a great game, though so I will keep playing it. But I would love to see an update where the ads don't interfere so much during game. Thank you 😊
This is a fun game overall, there are some times we're it glitches out bit for the most part it's a solid game. The biggest issue are the adds, majority of the time two adds playing, one on the top left corner and one on the middle right. The middle right add is playing a voice which affects my gameplay because the noise is to much and sometimes the mute button isn't available. Also whenever you die or click "start game" a game add always plays every single time.
I love the gameplay and everything about playing it, but it is single handedly ruined by all the ads. This can be a difficult game for some people, and they will fail a lot, and each time, you have to watch an ad. Then, the gameplay is always ruined by flashy ads contrasting to the actual gameplay and is insanely distracting.I get the use of ads, but putting them in the gameplay itself is just annoying.
Seems to be a really great fun game. It's the ads. I'm used to ads in games, I play alot of mobile games, and am used to tons of ads. This is the first one I've played where they'll play audio ads while you're playing the game, which makes me lose focus (playing the game while hearing about walmart deals 24/7 also isn't fun), and ads will also cover vital areas of the screen while playing. I really just can't play it, otherwise I'd keep it.
Good game, a nice, dark aesthetic, easy to pick up at pretty much any time, anywhere. Nothing too complex. Ads appear relatively rarely- only when you start/restart, so fully dependent on how long you last, and only costs a couple bucks to remove- a reasonable price, I suppose. The best thing to be improved (aside from adding more (more enemies, challenges, powerups, etc.) is make enemies pass by faster when you're 'hiding', so it's a bit less tedious waiting around for the right moment to run.
