StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs

Best karaoke app I've found so far! There are a bunch of these I can't seem to understand, like the events. But they have a great song selection and songs that are graded or not. Some songs are poorly timed or have typos, but there are generally enough versions of the same song that you can just select another. Rooms are a great way to get that social karaoke feel, and there are so many that you're bound to find your crowd. Duets allow you to tag people to sing with. Love this app!

Starmsker is the best Karaoke App by far. The song selection is vast. It covers All genre's and decades of songs long since past. I grew up in the 80's and every song I chose was available. The sharing of your recorded music is amazing and the quality is impressive. I have one issue that has caused me some problems. I'm retired and my knowledge of tech is limited. I recommend there better communication between user and support groups. Things are lost in translation .

I've had this app for a few years now, and still use it pretty often. If you love to sing, or hear others sing, it's fantastic! I've learned many new songs from seeing others perform it and then trying it myself. I've never had a technical issue that wasn't solved by just restarting the app. I prefer the benefits of VIP, but I think the free version is great, too. I can adjust the pitch, speed, or volume of the music vs my voice, and effects are plentiful. Join me in a duet, or share yours!

It's a great app for singing a good selection of stuff. There are lots of hidden features that take a bit to configure, but once you start understanding how more works, there's a lot of options. One downfall though is that lately, at least for me I don't know for everyone else, I've been getting way too much connection lag. Keeps continuing to demand a reconnect and it takes forever even on Wi-Fi. Sometimes I can't even get anything to open. 🤕

I like singing with Starmaker bc they have so many songs available. It's great that I can sing SOLO, I don't have to join/duet with others just to sing a song. U pay to upgrade to VIP and get more features, but I didn't find it worth my money. The worst experience i had with the app is static, noise, buzzing mic issues when recording. I thought it was my headphones, so I kept buying new ones, until I realized it was a bug or updated issues. It sucks when u can't sing when u want!

I enjoy the app, especially the pitch change option. However, if feel that it's very difficult to navigate and find different settings. I am still struggling to figure out the option to delete a song that I posted. I also have noticed that even though there is no latency when I listen to the song saved as draft (after making the necessary adjustments), there's a latency issue after publishing the song.

Love this app. Great song selection, feedback from others, you never have to worry, your vocals will not matching the music like it did during recording when you play back the song, as I've found to big a big issue on other apps. It really is a lot of fun, even if you're not a great singer everyone is very positive in their comments. I highly recommend.

It was fun at first but then you realize that there's mostly fake profiles, fake comments/likes computer generated, and song selection stayed the same. They don't have a good selection in the gospel music area. The amount of likes... For example it would show zero views but a couple of likes (That's impossible for someone to like a song cover without clicking on it). And I couldn't delete my account so I had to go through and delete all 129 covers I made and then I deleted the app. Don't do fake

I have been using Starmaker for a while and downloaded it because it was a free app. There were some tracks you had to have VIP access to use, but you could still find other recordings to use instead. Now if you want access to anything except a couple free songs, you are required to pay for VIP access. I will be deleting this app because of this change.

More social media than music, and music quality ranges from acceptable to terrible. I've wasted a lot of time trying multiple versions of songs to find one where the music doesn't suck. Sometimes the lyric timing is way off, so I get messed up and the score suffers as a result. The scoring (when accurate) is pretty cool, which is the reason for the second star.

Update: since the update I can no longer record songs. It posts with full reverb, so I've canceled by sub for now. Not liking the new update, won't let me go to any point in the song like it did before, when I posted a recording. There's also a problem with the vocal custom settings, it defaults to alot of reverb when posting, completely ruining my song... I don't always have time to record 2 or 3 times to try and fix it. Fix these things and I'd give 5 stars

I am extremely impressed with the enormous number of available tracks in so many languages. I did sing in 6 different languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Sanskrit and English). Some tracks' tempo (too fast, and felt rushed) and lyrics need correction. These are more common with other Apps. A few tracks are not available but can be requested. Thank you very much for such a service to all music lovers.

This app is very fun! There are many available karaoke songs to sing. Some of the more niche/obscure songs might be of lower quality, but more popular ones will have many versions in case you want to sing a low key acoustic version of a high key pop song. The scoring system it's not always accurate but I find it kind of addicting to try and get an A++. Overall; with the amount of features it has, I find it easy to look pass some issues. My biggest problem is the name, I think it's kinda' cheesy.

I loved this app before. It's still ok but I have some issues. I had many songs on here and all but one are just gone. Also, the available songs to sing are way less than before. Every song or artist I search just keeps saying there will be more songs coming soon. There used to be way more songs available so that has been a huge disappointment. Your voice and music don't match up either. I liked it better before and I hope it's all fixed and put back the way it used to be.

I like this app. Lots of songs and free options. Monthly rate if you choose to pay is reasonable. Seems they are constantly improving sound and FX. There is a voice back to headphones option which is awesome.. you can choose to hear yourself sing with the song. You can pause the song, and then resume to finish it. Some songs are scored, which can be challenging, but not always accurate but who cares? Still fun. Sing and Jam with people from all around the world. Perfect clean fun while isolated

I downloaded the app today and tried to sing a few songs. It sounds good when you're recording, but when you go to listen to it your vocals are out of time with the melody. After a couple of tries with no success, I took out my headphones and sang along with only the lyrics as they lit up, then tried again just following the notes (each one is timed differently). No matter what, it was still out of sync at the end. I just gave up and uninstalled it.

My favorite app, I love to sing along with the radio, this gives me a chance to hear my own voice on it! Plus the kids love it and it keeps them entertained lol. Try it; you'll like it. Not only can you sing it grades you if you do well enough, & you can make the charts. Its also possible to make your own videos, edit songs like in a studio and more. I've only been on the app for a couple of weeks but am already level 12 with 53 songs that were ranked and over 100 fans. Love this app!

I downloaded it a year ago, was terribly disappointed in it. Back then it was like they couldn't work out how to keep the music in time with the scale or the lyrics you follow. The approach is by far the BEST to a singing app I've seen on Google Play; when they developed it, they found an interesting engaging way for people to sing and adjust their vocals, as in a sound booth! That's why I came back, re-downloaded it I'm glad I did! The improvements trully upped their game!! KUDOS STARMAKER

I have used this app for a couple of years and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a great selection of songs and they usually add a song within a few days if you request it. The only problem I am having is the same as others: I have dropped from 50-100 likes for the vast majority of my covers to 0-15 even when played over 100 times and shared by others. This started with the most recent update. It's not critical, but until I read others' reviews, I thought it was just me. Please fix ASAP!

Just tried the app, and it's got great song choices, but from the start I could tell I wasn't going to be able to use it. I use a Bluetooth headset, and it accounts for the lag, but only after you've finished singing the song. During singing, you can't acquire fair points for the effort you've put into the song. After singing, the adjustment is difficult to use. The slider isn't precise enough. Please adjust the pre-singing lag for wireless headsets.
