This app isn't too bad for being free and with ads. The ads are minimal and really aren't a disruption to the app itself, just when opening the app. I just wish I could change the step counter from the original 6k steps it says to do in a day to something smaller and adjust that as I go. other than that, it's a pretty easy app to work with.
when I first opened this app I almost un-installed it because an ad kept popping up. Eventually, I seen the small banner at the top that say go to app. it doesn't take to long now to get back in app. my phone is more of a bother because I have a timeout set. I was concerned with it being free if it was any good. I am pleased but wish it could connect to myfitnesspal at least it gives me enough information so I can enter it in manual. Very satisfied.
So frustrating that I unistalled within 15 minutes. Everytime you open the app you have to wait for ads to open, then wait to be able to close them because the close button has a delay in appearing (for obvious reasons). In addition, the pedometer feature tracked 125 feet as .2 miles, then 1 mile on a track as .55 miles. It is beyond frustrating and wildly inaccurate. Two stars because the app may be of help to some, but I'm unwilling to wait through the ads to figure more out.
I'll be honest, at first I thought the ads would be horrible on this app, but now that I've actually been using the app; it's not that bad! It keeps track of your weight, steps, water consumption, and much more! Which is very helpful in my case because I'm fairly busy. Although, yes, when I get an ad it is about 30 seconds, but nowadays that's normal and it's usually only one ad. Which honestly is a big game changer! Not even that, it works offline, meaning no annoying ads! 👏🏻
It takes forever to get through all the ads to get to the actual app. If there's a trick to do so, I haven't found it. Uninstalled after 1 week. Contrary to reply, on my android there is no close or skip option no matter how long you watch an ad. It just goes automatically to another ad. This renders the app useless if you can't get to it.
The ads were SO bad. I just wanted to see my steps and I had to watch a video game ad for like a minute. Then, there was no obvious way to close out of it, it just stayed on the game; swipe back did nothing. I then closed the app completely, reopened it and had to watch another 2 ads. I mean, I realize it's free so I expect ads, just don't make it so freaking difficult to figure how to get out of them.

Won't count steps! Either all the 5 star reviews are fake, or it just doesn't work on my phone, because it hasn't counted one step yet. I changed sensitivity to all the levels, but it still says ZERO STEPS. My phone is normal, Samsung. Tried pausing, restarting, swinging arms while holding phone, changing sensitivity, still zero. Says there's a START button somewhere, but not on mine, so that may be the problem. But I can pause and unpause, so it should work, but it doesn't.
It's a solid app, just what I was looking for, and beautifully simple. It sets the goal for you, which I wasn't sure about before, but now I really appreciate it. It's that extra little push of accountability that keeps me from just good enough and reminds me to push myself without letting my goals down. Instead, I disappoint a piece of code.
Absolutely awesome app! It was super easy to install, and it comes in user friendly formats. You can track miles, calories, and steps, and it tracks totals by the day, week, month, and year. It also gives reminders to exercise, and gives you cheer messages too, when you meet your goal or set new records. So a very good app indeed!
App randomly decides it doesn't want to track. Widgets constantly reset, tracker doesn't continue to new days, and you have to constantly open the app before even using it. Oddly enough, these problems didn't occur until about a week into using it. All permissions and etc are fine. Feels like the app is programmed to do this, so you pay for it. Edit: [7/13/24]; it turns out it is Android's software removing the apps permissions. The app is apparently so invasive android forcibly removes perms.
I can understand having commercials, but this app takes takes it to a whole other level. It forces you to watch an entire 30-second commercial, which you can't do anything about it. Delaying my time significantly when I was trying to do a course training. And not just any commercials but the most brain rotting commercials they can think of, Not sure I would want to subscribe. They also ask how they could improve nothing about commercials, is mentioned you h ve to press other for it. not worth it
This app is easy to use and keeps your data private. It's the best pedometer app I found that doesn't require GPS or Internet access. I only want to track my distance walked/run and don't need a mapping feature or online features. You control when it is using your phone battery by activating (or pausing) the phone's built-in motion sensor with one easy click. Lots of report options. You can record heart rate (using camera sensor) and manually track weight, blood pressure, and water intake.
It is at least 30% inaccurate. I did four and a half miles on a gym quality treadmill and it is only counting 3.5 mis. for the entire day -- I had to sit a lot today before I got on the treadmill but even so it is undercounting by 30 or more per cent, which is quite inaccurate. I tried to report the issue from within the app, but it told me to check my email app which is working perfectly well. Update: still way off. Also, you can't change the length of stride so that effects the miles.
The app is great so far. Only been using it a few days, but it seems fairly accurate. The power drain is ridiculous, though. My phone was fully charged and by noon was down to 36%! My phone typically lasts all day, even with playing games. But I had only used my phone for a few light apps that never drain the battery, so I know it's this app. I like the step counter, but I may need to uninstall because of the battery drain. It's just too intensive.
I've had this app for exactly one week and so far I love it!! I really enjoy when I hit a new step high. The animations are really cute lol. I haven't tried the weight loss part yet (I'm pregnant so it really doesn't apply lol). Everything else, very cool!! Love that it counts distance and calories too. Basic app, but it has literally Everything that I am looking for!
I like this app it tracks steps, water, and weight. I do wish it would use a combination of phone movement and GPS to verify steps so that picking up/moving the phone doesn't up the count as much, but considering it's free it's a great app!! I really like the water reminder feature and all the positive messaging. Being healthy is a neverending journey with plenty of ups and downs and I love the reassuring messages that not every day has to be perfect, any improvement is still improvement!
I love this app. Can't believe it's free. I had an app downloaded that cost $11 for 3 months that was very reasonable, then automatically charged me over $66 for another 3 months without notifying me first. I, of course, cancelled it and downloaded this free app. It records my steps much more accurately and checks your heart rate, reminds you to drink water, etc. 🥰❤️
I like this app so far, the water tracker is nice and nothing is pay to use, you can pause when it tracks your steps, and you can always edit your target weight and step goal. The only thing I don't like is how it forces you to rate the app, I've been using it for like 30 minutes and I cant use it unless I rate it. Otherwise it's a good app :)
Only giving 3 stars cause the app is set up well, easy to use, easy to understand, when it is working! App keeps randomly stopping working, even when I try to keep it running in the background. It's nice that the developer allows you to edit your steps when this happens.. but honestly, if I could count my own steps during the day, I wouldn't have needed this app to begin with. If it would accept my setting it to stay running, then it would be the best app.
Hands down the best step counter I've used, it's by far the most accurate. The UI is so easy and simple to use it's all in one screen. It even calculates your step length based on your height, age, and gender to get the most accurate step count, how cool is that! This has been essential for me for my fitness, if you don't own a google fit or a betterme band then USE THIS APP! 10/10
