The app for the phone is just annoying. It comes up with an alert for nothing. It says alert to show me a video saying today will be great. That's NOT an alert. Then, when you brush that away, it comes up with it immediately afterward for three or four times. The app on the Roku is the worst yet. You can bring a menu up to the left that you can't do anything with, not even go through them. There is absolutely nothing to bring up radar. They could do so much better with just a little effort.

most recent update changed the radar options to the point at is not useful in my opinion. I want to see the watches and warnings overlaid with the radar. I want to see past and future radar loop together not one or the other.

They changed the radar, now you cant see warnings with radar. its either or. Also the lock screen banner used to show temps and weather info. doesnt anymore. This app has gone downhill.

I think the weather app is great 😃👍 and I have been watching newscenter7 since the 70s I know you are on top of things, keep up the excellent work.

I drive a high profile commercial vehicle and I find the wind speeds displayed to be extremely inaccurate.

reliable and thorough, able to customize to some extent, use it every day.

love this app , the alerts are great ,and I can see the weather anywhere!

Sometimes I have to delete and reinstall because I will get a computerized voice randomly through my phone saying "a new station alert has arrived" and it does it at all hours of the day and night. It's annoying and startling when it happens in the middle of the night to hear a "male" voice talking next to my bed so I have to uninstall the app and then it stops

The forecast changes every 30 minutes and it's like well let me walk outside and see if I get wet so I can forecast rain. I'm not trying to be mean but a person has no way of actually knowing. The app doesn't open half the time........ I have finally just uninstalled this weather app, half the time it would not load. Just not worth the aggravation.......

If you could fix the repeated weather advisory notifications that would be great. I read and dismiss a frost advisory and it keeps popping back up over and over. Should only need to dismiss it once. Oh, and as others have pointed out, you should NEVER be forced to view an ad before viewing a weather emergency report. That information needs to be accessable quickly. Please fix this fatal flaw.

Starting Monday, 1/23/23, when I open the app, it is "frozen" and I can't access any other screen. If I restart the phone, it works properly upon turning back on. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling...same thing happens. Not HAPPY!! I am uninstalling, maybe I will try again in a few months. Or maybe I will like WDTN's weather app better and stick with it.

One of the most unreliable apps I've ever used! Even though all alerts are set to sound, I got a Silent alert for a tornado watch! I gave it the benefit of doubt, knowing better from experience, but it had been a while so I deleted/reinstalled and reset all settings. Alerts are now set to siren with strong middle of the night tornados a possibility, and this utterly useless app is STILL giving silent notifications, only when I open the app! Install if you have no need for weather alerts

I uninstalled this app, after receiving auditory notifications of " there is a new weather alert" at 4:30am, after setting the app to not make alerts of any kind. After removing permissions. It still happened. The weather alerts? Oh, just the temperature prediction for this mild and clear day. I'll just go to their website instead. There's just as many ads anyway.

I like the app, I'd give 5 stars for when it works but I have downloaded this 3 times on my new phone. At first it was fine then it stopped displaying the hrly and daily so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, still the same thing but also no radar. Uninstalled and reinstalled again, still the same thing but radar is back and now doesn't detect my location, it says Dayton. I don't live in Dayton. I just bought this phone a few days ago, tons of storage so not sure what the issue is.

The weather app is great, especially during severe and rapidly changing weather. However, the NEWS APP is terrible! I have been unable to open it for over a week. It gives me a message saying, "Unable to open app. Please check your settings and try again." I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times without success. What is the problem???

It's a cool and functional app, but nothing makes it stand out. I love the quick and easiness of the tabs at the bottom and the radar options. (Somtimes I wish you could see the radar farther in time though). Overall a nice app to quick check the weather for the next day!

I sometimes question the timeliness of the forecast. It often doesn't match the forecast on the station, when viewed simultaneously. My biggest complaint is that beginning with 1 minute past the hour, it no longer shows the forecast covering the balance of that hour.

It's a great app! Stormcenter 7 is THE BEST!!! We use it all the time to stay up to date on the conditions in our area and the areas we might go to for outdoor events! Only suggestion I would make is add the wind speed/direction to the home page. Awesome job!!

Very happy with the app. Everything I need is quick and easy to find. Temperature by the hour. What chance for precipitation. Radar. Literally everything else I can think of. And its so easy that my 7 year old can navigate and answer my questions.

They advertise that they are 2 minutes faster. How come I get a lightening alert AFTER the storm is already here? And raining in Kettering right now, but didn't even show on this apps radar but was up to the minute on Accuweather app. Need to quit messing with the "looks" and fine tune the tools. Disappointing. The Channel 7 staff are excellent at what they do, but this app is not.
