Style DNA: Fashion AI Stylist

SCAM!!! I paid for a subscription but was hit immediately with hidden fees. Whatever, maybe I missed the small print. However, then I paid for add on services I was never able to access. I was so frustrated I canceled my subscription and but was still CHARGED for a quarterly renewal. I reached out to their customer support email and never received a response. Additionally, the product is lackluster and the UX is poor. Don't bother with this one, find a different app.

It did not allow me to select a photo of myself from my gallery, even though it says I need to be in natural lighting. It's night time and it wanted me to do a on-spot photo. Very limited styles (like VERY, only a handful) and none were my preferred style. everything was so limited and on apps you'd usually find cheap stuff on, all the options were expensive and limited (I could go to the app itself and see cheaper stuff and more stuff. Would NOT recommend.

I want to love this app, even so much as I paid for the subscription and added some of my wardrobe! I use it a lot, in fact! But there are still so many technical issues that it's next to impossible to either search for the rest of my wardrobe or add it manually. If there was a website to add things in on a computer and manage your profile, that way it would be great. Much faster. If there was a keyword search when adding items, much faster. If there were fewer glitches when adding photos....

This app has a lot of potential. I would get the paid version if a couple things were fixed/added: 1. They need to add more options to the "do not include" list. I really need to be able to remove crop tops from potential outfits because I will not wear them and they are suggested A LOT. 2. I would like to be able to leave feedback on items. As of right now you can only add something to the "like/save" area. But there are items that I want to be able to DISLIKE so they choose less like those.

I really want to give 5 stars and do the subscription. But, I don't know that I trust the recommendations or the color analysis. I've taken the selfie multiple times, different lighting, different rooms, and outside. I got 2 different results. The style recommendations I don't feel are flattering to me, but maybe I'm doing it all wrong.

LOVE the idea, but it needs a few updates within 'Outfit of the day' 1) The abilty to replace an outfit item with an item from my wardrobe *This helps me use items I own, but also encourages me to buy items. Once I purchase an item, I want to be able to build with it 2) More search filters for item replacements, including category and color *If I'm replacing a green boot, why can't I filter to find more boots, or other green shoes? 3) Seasons/weather filters 4) A build-your-own outfit feature

This is a good app for getting started on styling clothes but needs some improvements to be worth the price. I like the color analysis and using the AI stylist to determine what colors are a good match. It would be better if the my wardrobe outfits had more than 3 items. I can easily put 3 items together but need help making a complete outfit. Also, the app often messes up by putting casual handbags with more formal outfits. I don't find the pattern or fabric analysis helpful.

I did not subscribe to this app but am being charged WEEKLY fees. Perhaps there was fine print that I didn't understand. I'm willing to cut my losses but when I follow the instructions to "unsubscribe" I can't because there are no subscriptions in Google play. I emailed the developer email listed and the instructions say I must have subscribed through their website and to check my receipt. The recipe is from December and says I subscribed through Google play..... something is not right here.

Not worth paying for. The outfits include items you don't wear- I specified no heels, I get heels. The outfits are terrible most of the time so I try to manually change them which is a pain. The catalog is 90% items I would never wear. I have a selection of about 57 jean skirts to choose from. Not my style. You can't X out clothing you would never wear so you're stuck sifting through awful clothes trying to find anything to fix the terrible outfit they suggest. Not all bad, but not worth $

When you go to subscribe the app it offers you a price option that says its 19.99 per YEAR (aka $0.38 per week). If you select that option and hit continue it says you will be charged $19.99 per MONTH and asks you to confirm. I picked a different option and signed up anyway. When I put in my measurements (I'm a size 4 sometimes a size 6, 5ft 4inches and 132Lbs) it gave me suggestions about how to style my "rounded stomach" which mostly consisted of large shapeless coats. Not helpful.

Definitely got my color palette wrong! Overall, it's a really useless app. I took my photo outside multiple times on different days with varying degrees of natural light and still received an incorrect result. I already know my color palette and was just hoping for an easier shopping experience. Having someone manually determine my color palette by sending in a photo defeats the purpose of an easy to use app.

I already bought one dress that fits with my Closet, thanks to this app. Can't wait until it shows me more outfits that I can wear! Yeah, I was wearing the same thing on a regular basis before this app. Not anymore! The one and only problem that I see with it is that there is no price range to filter the clothes in the catalog that they have. All they have is fast fashion, premium brands, and luxury brands. It doesn't narrow itself down to dollar signs. Like I want!

SCAM!!!! I paid $25.99 for a subscription only to get charged AGAIN three months later, a whopping $58.75 for a "quarterly renewal," and will continue to get charged that each quarter. Ridiculous. I contacted them via email to dispute, and of course, no response. Luckily, I paid via PayPal and I'm disputing the charge and any future charges with them. It's still under review. STAY AWAY!!!

This app offers some cool and innovative features that I haven't seen in other virtual closet apps, like personalized AI style recommendations and color analysis. My one complaint is that there is no option to upload a photo for the color/style analysis. I live in an area that is extremely dark and overcast year-round, so it is difficult to take a color-accurate selfie on the spot. Also, the front phone camera causes distortion in close-up photos, lowering the usefulness of the style analysis.

Personally I think the color matching was pretty accurate for my complexion, however the quizzes were just not detailed enough. I wish you could downvote items of clothing or outfits, so it could continue to learn about your style. The auto generated outfits were hideous and were not cohesive. I understand you could swap the items yourself, but I thought the point of the app was that it did it for you.

Updated review: after leaving a public comment, the company finally contacted me. I find it annoying that the reply here is to send an email ( I did, several times). They refunded 1 week, but still kept the rest. It's fine, at least they stopped the recurring withdrawals. I still wouldn't recommend this app, based on their customer"service".

Even with the paid premium version, this is pretty bad. You can't limit AI-generated outfits to just the clothes you own. My style is stuck as "gamine" no matter what options I select; I hate gamine and cannot change manually. The options to indicate your build and body type are inadequate. The "do not include" settings aren't obeyed (stop showing me stilettos!). You can't create capsule wardrobes. The list goes on!

first color analysis was waaaay off. did a second that was better. but then the shop functions don't work as they should...for makeup, it doesn't give you any information about the shade or color, just the brand info. very disappointed. this was by far the priciest of the color analysis apps I've tried and the worst overall.

I'm enjoying the app so muc that I paid for a subs. HOWEVER, there are a few issues that make me regret that decision: I want the ability to remove or add certain styles to my recommended outfits. I will never wear heels yet they are always being recommended. I want for the app to put a preference on styles, like certain type of neck lines. Subcategories are needed, no options for cardigans, vests, tanks, etc.. Once these features are added I will definitely come back and upgrade to 5 stars.

It used to be so nice, now wherever I tap it takes me to the purchase options. Edit: Sadly after the new update even when I close the purchase page, it still is very limited. The bot is completely paid now and the I am not even able to see the outfit pieces because again the tap takes me to the purchase options and no closing doesn't make them available.
