Such a perplexing app. They've started doing promotions recently after having none forever, but they never work. You're told to add the promotion to your cart after you've added the relevant items, but it never detects that you have the qualifying items in your cart. The promotion in your cart just says "not applied" every time no matter how you approach preparing your cart. Any amount of testing would catch this, so pretty sure it's a deliberate "foot in the door" bait and switch tactic.
Edit: Why do I have to contact your tech support for you? An issue has been raised here by a customer. don't you think the onus is on you to do the work of reporting the fault? It also happened on the website. Latest update will not allow me to place an order, it just says "An unexpected error occured" with no suggestion on what went wrong. I have closed the app completely and redone my order from scratch and still the same error in the checkout process.
While you can get your food on this app, the design is unintuitive. It asks you to set a delivery/pick up time at the start of your order, before you've even got a single sandwich in your cart. To edit the sandwiches in your cart you must set a delivery/pick up time. I got burnt by this app because no confirmation of time or option to change it during the order, had to call in store to get the time moved. Would not recommend.
Easy and simple to use. Nice and quick. Can do catering platters via app also for pick up or delivery.
I like the app. Method of payment sucks. as a suggestion maybe add "pay cash". The app wouldnt except my credit card. Food, as always ... yummy
When It works its great but feels like something goes wrong most times I use it, most often not allowing me to pay although card details are correct, sufficient funds, and even google pay says unavailable. It's a pain when the option to order and pick up isn't available because the app sucks, means I have to waste a whole lunch break driving and ordering lunch, just to arrive and there are 5 online orders they make ahead of me as well as more people.
Downloaded, clicked forgot password (it has been a few years since I used the app).. FOLLOWED the instructions and was given "prompt has expired" error message. This happened 4 times in a row. I give up. I can't make a new account as my email is already in use. Can't use my current account as I can't remember the password and can't reset the password to a new one. This is appalling. Un-installed.
Better than the old app but a bit clunky. Password field is auto-capitalised, please change that! There's also no way to see what time a store will open or which is very useful information early in the morning - easy way to lose sales if I just decide to choose something else. Thanks for adding the 6 for $6 cookies! Overall better and more user friendly than the old, can tell a lot of effort has gone into it
It works as it should be. No one looks like mentioning about the sub of the day, however, the app doesn't have sub of the day funtions or discount options to order. I have been ordering through the app all the time, so I thought the promotion is not running anymore. But I went to the Glenfield mall branch, ordered the sub of the day (pork riblet), and it was $6.90 for 6 inch one while the app is only showing $8.20. The app should have more practical offers to show.
Absolutely awful. First, you need to login, the forgot password link was not sending me password reset emails, couldn't log in. There's a skip login button, so I went with that. Trying to place the order. It failed, the store didn't have spinach, had to manually remove spinach from each sandwich, then continued to payment. Before payment, YOU NEED TO LOG IN. Literally couldn't place an order unless I created a new account. Why have a skip button, if it is essential to place the order? 😅
I found this app really easy to use for ordering from Subway, its all clear and easy to understand. Just one suggestion is that if there is a particular item out of stock on the confirm order page, there should be an option to remove that particular item altogether instead of going into each order and removing the item. Otherwise, great app so far :)
The app is awesome and easy to use but it can be a little bit confusing about the offer, for instance I had the cookie offer but idk how to add that....
So, I placed an online order to be picked up, but I couldn't submit my order as the restaurant wasnt accepting online orders. Shouldn't this be shown on the app prior to .akin g an order online?
I dont usually use apps to order. this app was quick and so easy for me and my partner.
Overall app is good however with the old app you could add different cheese types as extras. The new app only lets you add extra cheese which doubles up the type you've originally selected. My order also didn't go through to the store until 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.
New app is cleaner, but there is no way to customise your sub anymore, except adding extras. Same with the website. It won't let you choose bread type, what goes in it, sauce... NOTHING can be customised. Kinda pointless considering this is a big part of ordering subway. Ended up just going elsewhere for dinner.
I'd give this app a 0 if I could. No problems logging in. No problem entering my address. No problem selecting restaurant for delivery and I choose delivery, takes me to menu, then as soon as I click on menu item, I'm told to select my restaurant. Go back and select pick up then menu works fine. If delivery isn't available at my local restaurant, why tell me it is and give me the option to select delivery, then tell me to select restaurant on next screen while blocking menu selection?
I like the app and only use it for the loyalty programme in store. I see occasionally there are specials like free with purchase. Store staff don't redeem these. Also, it should have a part for the birthday offer too as I missed mine. I got an email, but no pop up in the app.
