Forget about adding a survey as your product feature, focus on getting a widget for Android. That seems like a no brainer, and one that other reviewers have already given feedback on.
Great app and love the simple UI. Doesn't seem to have a widget unfortunately, and even with location set to Brisbane I'm not getting any live data 😕
great app, I just wish it had a widget that I could add to my home screen! would love if this could be added as a feature
This app worked really well for a week. Now it gives the message 'an error has occurred' but the 'close' button does nothing but recycle the same message. Meanwhile the screen judders and the graphics boxes flash on and off. Erasing cache and storage, uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting the phone have no effect. UPDATE: I had a speedy response from admin - thank you! - and when I checked the app next morning it was working perfectly. Fingers crossed that whatever it was is fixed!

it just tells you the current uv index, no value for the next hours. so it's pretty useless.
i loaded the app and chose a nearby location. The display said no data at that location. i tried to remove it and the app said it could not be removed until another location is chosen. but no option appears to add any other location, even any of those initially displayed, even in location edit mode. Please provide the answer here. i am not going to repeat this in an email or form.
Far from anywhere in the world - I am not sure if this is an actual oversight or just a temporary technical issue, but a pretty big area of my country (Romania) seems to not be covered at all. For an app that markets itself with a slogan containing "anywhere in the world", this is hardly acceptable. Until the issue is fixed, I consider my rating indulgent.
This app is pretty good but it doesn't serve the needs of people who need it most. I get skin cancers and have to cover up when the UV is over 1, but the app doesn't allow me to customise alerts so that I know when to protect myself, giving me no option other than the alerts that sound when UV is at 3. other than that, the interface is pretty intuitive, you can set several locations and the info is displayed clearly.
Seems like a good idea for an app. but having had installed for a month it's alerted every single day, even on days with thick rainclouds and rain. if the alert goes off daily then I might as well either put suncream on daily or just chance it. there's no way to set the alert level either. I want to customise the UV level not the time of the level.
This app is perfect and does exactly what it says - provides information and updated alerts about the status of UV and temperatures in selected locations. I just reported one thing that is kind of a bug -the app doesn't understand when it's getting information from it's sources in Celsius or Fahrenheit so it makes it difficult to view locations using them together - I'm sure they will fix that soon
An okay app, and yes, UV alerts are working. However, there is a glitch with these alerts. I have had the alerts set for Mon to Thurs at 8 am only, but they are coming through every day. I try to update the days or turn the alerts off completely, and I just get a message 'something went wrong' come up.. Otherwise, the App does what I need it to do, and that is tell me the uv rating for at that time and for the day..
Used this app regularly while living in the UK. Recommended to friends and family (especially older family who don't habitually wear sunscreen) and thought only downside was that there was no widget. However, since moving to Taipei, I have found that despite being advertised as a "Global" app, Taiwan is not included. Even if you use your device location to try to get UV data, the app incorrectly detects you as being in Aruba! Disappointed and uninstalling.
MORE FUNCTIONALITY PLEASE. When I saw the reports that this was the best UV app, I really expected more functionality. They tell you when the UV is 3 or higher and what the highest point would be during that day, but that's it. I will go back to using UV Lens, because with that app, you can click on any time of the day and find out what the UV will be at that hour, and plan your day around it. Please get more functionality and I may revisit.
Super helpful. Use it before I leave for the day. Simple UI. Not much else.
Gives vastly different UV levels than the same location on your website. The app says 1.9 in Brisbane and the website says 4. The app consistently reports much lower levels, which is actually dangerous. Yesterday the UV in Brisbane was 8 on the website and 4.8 on the app. It was the afternoon and it was obviously going to be 8. How do you get such a fundamental thing wrong? Edit in response to your comment: currently the app says 6.7 live UV and the website says 9 live UV (both specify live).
Deleted app within 5 minutes of installing. It is impossible to manually add locations without it freezing and an error popping up. The only way you see the UV index is to allow it access to your location, and then you're only able to see 'nearby locations'. Better off using the BOM site or app.
5 months later and this app still hasn't been sorted. Having location issues just like one of the other users reported in August last year. Downloaded this app because of an advertisement. What a wast of company resources when the app doesn't even work properly.
I only started using this today. [Temperature issue fixed when I woke up this morning so yay! Thank you.] I'm not sure if the timeframe when the UV is worst is accurate since the sun is up almost 24 hours at the moment. Interior Alaska is hot in the summer and part of the Northern Hemisphere. I'm going to try it longer and see what data I can get from other sources to compare.
great app but missing a handy screen widget.
Have been using the app religiously for years across multiple phones. In the last several months, it's consistently taking longer to load and having errors connecting to the server to update. The last week it has barely worked.
