The amount of adds in this game makes it nearly unplayable. The actual play is pretty fun but even if you make a purchase to remove the adds it only removes the forced ads. And everything else to help progress is still locked behind "optional" ads. After a match you can click skip to not watch an ad for bonus cards and you will still have to watch a shorter ad anyways.

Great game if the controls weren't so suspect. Shooting and checking are the same basic motion, so too many times when you try to make a shot, the program instead makes a completely different player go for a body check leaving the puck wide open. Very often as well, the game sends the puck in the wrong direction of what you're motioning. Would be excellent if not for this HUGE flaw.

The game is mostly fun. But it does not ask for confirmation to spend gems. You can spend A LOT of time logging in multiple times a day to sit through ads to get gems, and spend real money to buy gems, trying to save them for when you reach the next level to use them. But when scrolling through the Offers screen, if you accidentally press on the button for a card pack it just takes the gems and gives cards you don't need. What's up with the weird colors after the update?

love playing this game. I had an issue with my app not switching over all my achievements and such when I got a new phone. The game developer himself got back to me via email and totally corrected the issue and even threw in some coins and gems. I'd highly recommend this hockey game. it is fun and easy to play and the developer takes care of you if there is any problems. 5 stars all day long!!!!!

Update 2/13/2025: They have changed the graphics of this game, and it's made it nearly unplayable. Very difficult to differentiate between the two teams and much harder to follow the puck. I'll be done playing if it isn't remedied. Ok game. Could be better. I wish the Center would go to the net on a breakaway instead of stopping way short! If the game's AI decides it doesn't want you to win, you won't.

I like the overall game-play and controls. But there is zero customization. Need to be able to adjust sensitivity and some of the controls. Also no customization of the team logo, color or name. Simplicity is this games strong point, but it's almost too simple. Lose interest quickly in the purely "arcade" style play.

It could be a great game if the devs didn't rig the game so much. From missed passes going the opposite way from where you sent it to shots going wherever they make it go. Don't even bother checking because it almost never results in a turnover of the puck. Be prepared to hit the post a lot when they want you to lose. 9 to 10 times in one game. No matter what level the other team is, their players always seem to be in the right spot to block your pass. It's fixed from the start until the end.

After playing a few games I realized some people are right. Opponent is 3x stronger and quicker. It is very hard to score a goal. And the prices are so ridiculous for in game items I refuse to pay. Gems and coins are very small so it'll take a year or more to save up for a legends pack. But that's to be expected when you're playing against bots. Opponent wins face-off 9 out of 10 times. Game is unfair and a major pay to play. Too bad. This could've been a fun game. Best hockey game I've played.

Originally thought this game was fun, but can quickly see why others are saying. You are only facing bots, not humans, and the algorithm let's yoy win a bit, then upscale the difficulty exponentially, probably to get you to spend money. I'd of spent money, if this was a skill based game, but it is not, when the game wants you to lose, it turns on legendary mode, because of that, this game sucks.

Fun game, but defense is a nightmare. The AI on the team has an unfair advantage, which makes this game near impossible at times. The developers also like to make it seem like it has any multiplayer aspects at all (it doesn't) none of the players are real, the leaderboards are fake, which I could care less about if it weren't for the developers pushing this as a fully multiplayer game. just seems kind of scummy to imply that while also charging almost $30 to purchase coins from the store.

very fun gameplay. However, I'm suspicious that it's making me lose now to trick me into watching more ads. I was winning and winning, and then I lost a game fair-and-square. no big deal. so I watched a few ads to make some coins back. now that the game knows I'm willing to do that, it won't let me win any games--even at the easier difficulty. Sketchy.

Sad, ad-filled, rigged game. Can't we play games without having to pay to win anymore? The gameplay is fun but the controls are too simple to set up decent plays. Shooting and passing use the same button so that can be frustrating. Also, the players' names are based on rank and both teams have the same players which makes it a confusing. The matchups make it look like you should be playing against other players but it's clearly bots. I enjoyed for a few days but will now uninstall.

This game is so addicting I love it. Only ran into a couple issue. Passing and shooting is kind of difficult at times, passing and shooting are so similar that often times I'm shooting when I wanna pass and the other way round. Also I like practicing, just for fun but when you go into the 5v5 practice there's no way to go back to the main menu so I have to close the game completely to get back to the main menu. Other than that Im not lying, I love this game, superstar soccer I'm coming.

The game has subpar controls that if worked on would make it much better. But what really knocked the score down is the sheer amount of ads. It is absolutely riddled with ads. Even if you opt out of the optional ads to speed up unlocks or get more gold (which they are happy to bombard you with every time you touch your screen), you still have unskippable ads after matches. If you were to opt in to every ad opportunity, you could spend 90% of your time in this app not actually playing the game.

Such a good game this could be, but the controls have a few problems that are unacceptable. Changing your player is extremely unreliable and when it does change the controls send the player in the opposite direction you want him to go. Also when you check a player, they end up with the puck again. How does that make sense? The creators had something and then just got lazy. Pathetic

Completely offline game, all AI opponents. The game feels pretty fun at first after you win a couple of games, until the game throws a hard ball and matches you with an unbeatable opponent. You will lose EVERY faceoff, they will recover from check-stun quicker than you can, if you break up their passes, the puck will bounce off of your player instead of landing on your stick. It's to keep you grinding away and watching ads to continue earning coins. The game is basically an ad watching simulator

It's just "ok" so far. The controls are basic but it doesn't serve the game of hockey very well. Often the game will assume I'm passing when I'm trying to shoot or vice versa, and then the transition to playing defense is poor with you controlling the player not near the puck. The ads are not overwhelming, but my biggest gripe rn is that some ads do not ever show an X to close and I end up having to shut down the whole game. Not a good way to keep players coming back.

This game is good but could be great. As many have mentioned there's a lot of ads, and the X to get out of ads is so tiny it's impossible to hit. Also when my team is upgraded and playing a much lesser team there should be a notable difference between the players, but even the beginning players rated in the teens can keep up with my players rated in the 60-70s. It would also be cool to add where each player can grow there skills, like after scoring multiple goals they get an extra skill point.

Updated Review: This was a great game, but since the most recent update it has become nearly impossible to score (yet the opposing team can score at will), you can't pass without losing the puck on almost every attempt, and forget about winning a game. I don't mind a challenge, but when it's very obvious that changes have been made to force losses, and ultimately force purchases since you lose all your accrued coins, it just becomes frustrating. It's a shame, this was a really great game before.

Game is just very unbalanced in a sense. Opponents will be faster than you, whenever you tackle an opponent, you switch players, and the opponent doesn't have a recovery time in some cases. The puck goes to the opponent team after a tackle most of the time. The best way I found to get the puck is to just get in a big crowd and just keep on clicking the screen. Fun gamplay, just needs better control.
