changed my star rating. this app used to be my goto app to get rewards, I've been a member for a very long time, and now I'm not so sure. they took away the ability to print coupons, which was a big thing for me. They also stopped the random SB for search unless you do something else first. collector bucks are impossible to get. and they keep changing the look of the app, which means people can't find what they are looking for! and they changed the reward for your birthday! it's terrible!
Let me start out by saying, I've gotten some good payouts from completing a couple of offers for one-time type activities. The frustration comes from the offers for playing games. it does take a ton of play time to earn anything at all, & it's usually something pretty small, but that's alright. The issue that I have had with at least 3 different games now is that they expire SEVERAL days before they are set to. This has happened several times now, & it's infuriating & definite false advertising.
This app is okay. I'd say it's about 50/50 as to whether it properly recognizes me installing game apps. And that is with VPN stuff off and proper tracking and such. Which is frustrating. Along with that you can get stuck in a verification loop where it keeps asking for your email over and over again. And then it says you need to wait 24 because you did too many emails. And then you can't log in to contact support. So watch out, because redeeming rewards can be like pulling teeth.
Very slow interface, difficult to navigate app. The payouts have become incredibly small for the most part. And tracking has been an issue for years when playing games. You can do a nearly one hour survey, finish it, and they will not give you the reward. It's not the worst thing in the world, but you will need time and patience to get anything out of it. And potentially many emails traded with Customer Service.
Randomly deactivated my account after around 10 years of usage with no notice, I had to email them to see what had happened. They said I had completed credit multiple times that I'd hadn't, refuse to respond or elaborate when I tell them I have never completed them and asked for more information on the transactions. Lost 25$ worth of credits that were in my account, still can't get a response from their team. :/ Edit: The customer help line you recommend reaching out to is the one ignoring me.
Devs go to great lengths to block any means of contact: no email, phone, chat, text, in-app, etc... Ticket submission is it, and it's infuriating. If you find broken links, scams, etc... there's no way to tell them. Ex. Block Blast... their ads take you to a fake Play Store site where they try to get you to install apps you already have - no way to inform them of this. And while they do pay out, not having a way to contact them is a severe issue that they clearly have no intention of fixing.
changed to 1 star. I can't join team challenges because app doesn't think I'm logged in, but I am. I can do surveys and everything else because I'm logged in, except join the challenge. I tried to report to Swagbucks and their report a problem page freezes and won't allow screenshots of the issue, or even submit the complaint. UPDATE: Swagbucks reached out to me and asked me to submit through their report a problem page! I clearly mention above I can't submit it that way due to it freezing!
Locked out when I complained about game goals being attainable. I update the app thinking that was the issue but no. I get a message my account was DEACTIVATED as I am working actively on goals. I can't call in and have to make a ticket that has 30 days to review! The goals for most games are in a month. I can't wait for 30 days.
I downloaded a game and worked really hard to earn the bonuses. I was able to get one for $12.50, $60, and $90. But because of some little glitch or I downloaded the game wrong I never received the bonuses. Not one. I sent emails to administrators and got some paper to fill out. Had to have exact times and dates they were won one. I kept getting into some kind of loop when I tried to send info in. it seems like they dont pay you right but want you to download their games. I enjoyed playing.
Not worth your time. I've completed some surveys, passed all attention checks, and then not been paid. Same with completing things in games. No pay. The amount you get per survey is pennies, so you're completing them at a massive loss. You're better off signing up for Prolific or Cloud Research. I've had this app for about 2 months and should have made about $50, but I only have like $25. I made that in one day on Prolific taking fewer surveys.
Easy to use. Does reward you for completing simple tasks,surveys or game play. Takes awhile to make enough to be worth it. Better than a lot of the other "pay" sites UPDATE 1/22/25 after a year I've made a decent amount of gift cards(about $50 a month)but it's a grind now. Half the games require $$ to make the"goals" so you end up losing.
The swagbucks app is fair. Though I have found that it does not track all games. I downloaded monoply go through the swagbucks app. It has never shown my progress. The links to customer support are not user friendly. With that being said it's not worth my time. Followed the link to support. Monoply go is not listed in that activity. Even though I downloaded via swagbucks. So there is no way to report the isdue
It won't even allow me to sign up as a new user! Whether I select the "sign in with Google" option or the "continue with email" option, it will not work! When selecting the "continue with Google" option, it had a pop-up error message that read "non-existent email address." When selecting the "continue with email" option, it once again popped up with an error, but this one read "invalid credentials."
I use to like this site, but recently they have made it impossible to make any money anymore. You used to could send in a ticket to get your level points that didn't register, but now when you do they'll just say that the levels time expired. The levels that they demand to get any game money is also ridiculous now. One game actually said I needed to get to level 5000! Then to even level 10,000! I don't think I will continue trying to make money on this site anymore, and that's sad.
It used to be really good I've been using it for years. After the latest update though when I get to the higher point rates of the games it just stops giving me the points for them after I've already finished the completed task until the time runs out and I never get the swagbucks for them. might start using a different app or just delete it soon.
Earn swagbucks to convert to money by playing games, taking surveys, and shopping at merchants. Games may have purchase options, but I have yet to need them. There are many ways to earn and have fun. Until 9/29/25 I used SWAGBUCKS how and when I wanted with little intrusion into my life. Now, I get multiple notifications and emails daily. This is just annoying. I just changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars.
I've received over $1,000 in SB over several years. I've collected it easily and also have had to deal with customer service to get what's owed many times as well. Unfortunately nothing works anymore. Using different browsers, using the app on different devices, using different internet, turning off all firewalls/security, the games tab no longer works. CS response has been to issue me SwagUps which is credit for my next download. If I can't get to the games page, I can't download anything...
I used Swagbucks for game offers and received small payouts at first, but when I reached a higher level that was supposed to pay $2, the reward was never credited. I completed all the requirements and even submitted a support ticket, but weeks later there was no response. The app pays small amounts but seems unreliable for higher payouts, so I'd be cautious about spending time on game offers.
Locked out of my account with $170 balance. It's been over a month since I contacted support and they have not contacted me back, other than to say they received my request. Upon research, it seems like people who leave a balance on their account mysteriously have their account suspended, so they end up losing the money. Would not recommend this app! Do not leave a balance on your account, they will keep your earnings!!
this app will not let me take a picture of the receipt to turn in 99% of the time. it also doesn't bring up the option to add a saved pic. it used to, and that option usually worked. I have contacted them repeatedly and they have never helped me. it only works every now and then and I clear everything off my phone and clear the cache and it still doesn't work most of the time.
