The new version of the app doesn't show tracking info (that is available on the website), and there are no delivery settings anymore - the two main things I use the app for. The app works fine but the older version had more information displayed and had a cleaner, more intuitive interface design.
I tried to create a new label for a new consignment. I wasn't able to input the address since the street was "not found." Regrettably, it did not show any suggestions for alternative spellings of the street. I had to use the web interface from my computer to complete the process. Otherwise, great app.
Since the update, I am unable to see the exact status for letters that I am sending or receiving. Now, it just says "consignment on its way." Unless I am doing something wrong, the lack of data and transparency is disappointing. Edit: I can see more information by logging in via the website. it used to be possible to see this information via that app.
The new app released in November doesn't show notifications for package deliveries anymore, and no settings are visible in the app for activating them. The chat robot is useless, and the support website says to set up notifications in the app, so we're getting nowhere. So pretty useless at the moment.
After the latest UI update I constantly have an error on the main screen and I am unable to post parcels on Post24 terminals without the screen. Killing the app and reopening multiple times changes nothing, so I decided to logout and login again. Now every login attempt fails, so I cannot use any post service via app.
Typical Swiss app. Looks nice, doesn't work. Why do all Swiss apps stop working when using a VPN?! Sometimes that's the only option. But that's just the Swiss narrow-mindedness... It's infuriating. All other apps, hundreds of global apps, never have issues with VPNs. Only the tiny Swiss app makers deem it necessary to block usage with VPNs... just ridiculous. Re: Attacks are reality. If your infrastructure can't deal with that, it's your problem - don't make it ours by imposing restrictions.
The app is very well organised. The animations are fluid and generally nice to look at. Additionally the integration with Twint works flawlessly.
The app used to work really well but the new version is glitchy. Doesn't show details of consignments anymore so you can't see the tracking into and managing delivery options. I am definitely logged in correctly, so it's not a user issue. Please fix this.
Looks nice, but the ePost subsection feels out of place and buggy, as if it's a different app shoehorned into this one.
Amazing work. Love the app and tracking (notifications, easy to change stuff,...)
Great animations and integration into android, keep the nice work up!
Update: More reliable now. // Great app, horrible login. Constant logout, login only works 1 out of 10 times and app freezes after login. 5/5 if it had working login process. Example: Login successful, app doesn't recognize it and freezes. Login successful, "You were not automatically redirected when you signed up. Please click on the «Login»button to complete the process.", button doesn't work. Login successful, nothing happens after.
Worked mostly well in the past, but since the last update (that introduced dark mode) I can't log in anymore. After pressing "Login" in various places I the app, nothing happens, it just hangs. Even after cleaning caches. Edit: I can log in on the web without problem. The app never opens the login screen, and since I deleted all the data and cache, it doesn't know anything about my account, so it can't be related to the account type. Update: it does work correctly recently.
Loading indicator when the app is starting would be nice. This app, from all my apps, takes the longest to load. I always have the urge to press the reload button on the startup screen. Otherwise it's a nice app. Not super clear in all menus but good. What i really want is to only receive the confirmation of delivery notification and not all push messages or none. I want to be able to select which notification i want. Ond i only want the confirmation of delivery!
The app+services have potential, but it needs work. What's missing is the possibility of rerouting a delivery once we get a notification. It's not possible to refuse a delivery or to redirect to a locker from the app before it gets delivered a first time. The postman has to go to the address for nothing and then the next step can be taken. I originally had issues with the locker side of things, but it turns out that this was related to how my package was handled locally.
Works ok. The UI could be better. Missing the option to configure the start page to show "My consignments list" as a default. I would like to always land there, instead of seeing 1 consignment and then click a link to see the list. There are also bugs, like "My consignments" shows a returned item for months now, without realising that it was delivered, and I have no option to mark it delivered nor to remove it.
It's fine for very basic stuff like updates on consignments, but that's really no added value as you receive updates by email anyway. I tried to make a shipping label through the app today. Terrible! Super user unfriendly, cumbersome process. I had to login multiple times in the process which is very strange. Wasn't able to complete the process as the app refuses to complete the print command. So now I paid for the shipping label, but I don't have the label in my possession. Money gone?
I'm disappointed that SMS stamps was replaced by this app. What used to take a few seconds via SMS now requires a login via Swiss ID, two factor authentication, and switching to the Twint app. That's three different services just to buy a 1.10 CHF stamp. Furthermore, the push notifications are buggy. If you open the app without signing in, the app creates a push notification that can't be removed on Android. Package tracking is nice and works well. Overall the app could be simplified a bit.
Notification settings only have "newsletter" and "my consignment" to turn on/off. The overview has at least 30min to update (if it ever does) that the parcel HAS arrived. And the App has surprisingly slow loading times. At least this way my email inbox doesn't get filled by Post delivery updates... It's still the Swiss Postal Service, so it has to suck at least a little.🤷🏽♂️
Constant time-outs when trying to pay via PostFinance or Postcard. It's as if the Swiss Post wants me to use credit cards and charge them the >3% transfer fees so that they can crank up postal fees further. Really frustrating. The idea of the app is good, though. This would need to be built on REACT alone, though, instead of some sort of Ionic iFrame monstrosity.
