"uh-oh something went wrong" I get this error nonstop even after reinstalling. Tried ordering online which worked but online doesn't let you use rewards. What a silly problem. App is nonsense. edit: I sent an email to the address listed in the reply. no answer yet. I'm not sure what they can do for my individual account that they cannot do for all the other reviews. treating this 1 by 1 seems ineffective. edit2: the app updated but still is not working.
I tried to place an order in the app and it kept giving me an error, it wasn't until the next day when I realized my card was charged all 5 times I attempted to place the order. They were eventually reversed but it reduced my available credit until the charges were credited back. There shouldn't be online exclusive offers if you're not able to order online.
Great until they went passwordless. Now j can't log on. I never get an email. I've been trying for days multiple times. Real shame because i will only ever order on the app. So they're just losing business. *edit* I emailed them and they never emailed me back. I had to pay $5 for the item I usually get for free with my points because all my points are gone and I no longer have access to my account. I'll probably just go elsewhere. The extra step just to log in is insane.
Got a really significant glitch in the app. I have a digital gift card balance... but it won't load that tab to let me see how much is left. It doesn't show my order history so no way to calculate it myself. It errors out when trying to place an order before even reaching the checkout page. No saved locations, no favorite items. In fact the only reason I know I'm logged in to the right account is it shows I've earned reward points since I created the account, but I can't use them at this point.
If there were a negative star rating, that's closer to what they deserve. What's the point in even offering customization in the app? It's NEVER actually done to the food. And when the app glitches, which is ALL THE TIME, you get screwed! Sometimes it's out of money. Sometimes it won't add an item. Sometimes you have to drive to A Store That You Didn't select. That's nowhere near where you want to be.
The app is pretty bad. Rewards aren't available everywhere, not all combos are available everywhere (even though it gives you the option to select it), the app doesn't even work often, and it doesn't automatically update to the nearest location (or mention you're far away) so sometimes you get to the end of creating your order to realize you have to completely change redo your order and choose new options since those aren't available at the other location. Too many problems
Lots of bugs, including sometimes repeatedly switching back to the location it thinks you should be ordering from instead of the one you selected. I can't tell you how many times I've selected a location, placed the order, and then gone to pick it up only to find that it changed to a different location without telling me. If you try to remove an item from your cart, even a packet of hot sauce, it will give a message saying your cart is empty. Just not good.
Awful! What's the point of even having this app available? IT NEVER EVER WORKS! I can order online, but then I can't use my rewards and other options aren't available. So I'M JUST NOT GOING TO ORDER ANYTHING. I can't tell you how often this happens. It's infuriating. I spend more time updating and trying different things to make it work and 45 minutes later, I could have already had my food if I just used the Taco John's app and went there. Don't offer the app until you can get your bugs fixed.
(Edited again for new issues) When this app works, it's great. However, I very nearly got overcharged and double charged. I placed an order and it said "unauthorized". Figured I just needed to try again. I almost didn't notice that the fire reward I picked was being charged, and managed to cancel just in the nick of time. Went back to look and my reward was just gone. Was about to reorder and got a bad feeling. First charge went through. So did the order but the app didn't show that. Be careful.
This app is garbage. It is easily the worst restaurant app I've ever used. More often than not, something errors out. Either the checkin or the mobile order, or just adding items. The coupons aren't clear either. It's just a mess, which is crazy since you would think since they over charge for everything, some of that would be put into a competent app.
I ordered a few times using the app with no problems. For the past few weeks I am able to create an order but get an "uh oh" message when trying to checkout. I have force stopped the app, cleared cashe, and finally deleted and reinstalled it. Still won't let me order for delivery. Please don't give me an autoreply... I've already read them and they really show how little you care about online orders
I don't have any problems adding items to my basket, but app is useless because it will not let me pay. I was successful once, but every other time it just stops after I pick payment type and will never let me input payment. Now the only way I can order is through the website. Edit to reply: I'm not going to spend my time contacting customer service. You guys have plenty of one and two star reviews detailing numerous issues. Just fix the app.
App never works. I updated it, cleared the cache, used multiple different payment types, and it always says "uh oh there was an issue but we're working on it." The price to convenience ratio isn't there. ETA: canceled order in app (Why does it let you order at restaurants an hour away without warning you?) but still haven't been refunded after almost two weeks. No answer from customer support.
The app works fine for ordering for me, but the issue I seem to have is that the 4 digit check-in code doesn't work. It just keeps saying "try again". Under rewards, I scan my receipt barcode, and that doesn't work. The last receipt I manually added the # did indeed work but didn't automatically scan. This time, the scanning or manual feature keeps giving me a "whoops, try again. Tacobell, you're at a 1.9 star for reviews, come on guys, do better! Don't give us rewards if you can fix the app.
I'm tired of the app not letting me pick a drink in the combo, customize the food, and just ordering food in general is becoming to difficult on the app. I also would like to choose if I want less ice or no ice in my drink. The app used to be better. Today I just ordered regular menu items and a drink but spent way more than if I could have had the combo. Next time I will drive to chick-fil-a or McDonald's where the apps work just fine. I almost exclusively use an app when ordering.
App is completely dysfunctional anymore. Won't save my order, struggles to log me in, and I have a new card I need to enter in that I literally can't because the app refuses to bring up my keyboard. I've checked, and my keyboard works perfectly fine! It's 100% this app. I know I'm not the only one with a laundry list of issues with this app as of late.
Frequently get orders wrong, customer support will give you coupons for new orders instead of refunds, the quality of food varies dramatically between locations. Delivery is also done through doordash so it is very expensive and slow. Edit: thanks for the response to my review! Unfortunately, I will not be emailing an additional address as I have already filed three customer support tickets through the app one week apart after not getting responses to each one.
I have successfully ordered from this app twice. One star for each time the app worked. The other times I have attempted to order I learned the "uh-oh, try again" message can indicate billing for your order (18 times, 14 refunded) without actually sending your order. Minus a star for the inconvenience of only getting food 50% of the time, hours wasted logging out/uninstalling/trying different payment methods/changing order to get past error, and annoying pop-ups.
The last few updates have made it impossible for me to order on the app. When I go to customize an option, whether it's changing the ingredients on a taco or choosing a drink for my combo, it sends me back to the previous page without adopting my changes. I can't add my order to my cart without a drink, but it won't let me select a drink! Please fix this bug soon.
Awful. Nothing works. Purchasing the nacho fries pass does nothing, after confirming your order it endlessly loads. Just a loading wheel of doom and absolutely nothing happens no matter how long you wait, how many times you reinstall/restart etc. It's the same with confirming orders at checkout. Network is great so wifi isn't the problem. Even tried on data, and others wifi. This app is garbage.
