Tapet Wallpapers Generator

I was trying to figure out why the app wouldn't update the wallpaper automatically, and switched to advanced mode to see if there was a setting there. Now can't switch back. The help button is gone, and all the settings are different. Worse, as I was trying to figure out how to fix it, I suddenly was offered a $30 subscription. Uninstalled at that point. Paid for Premium, used to love the app.

I was originally upset that this new version made me lose all my previous likes, history, etc. But I can't deny that the new version is so incredibly good and fun to use. Basically all of my phone backgrounds have been from this app for the past 5 years . You won't regret getting the premium patterns - they are some of the best ones. Another tip: If you find something you like, you can also save one in the resolution for your desktop computer - even dual monitors.

Been using this app for a couple months now, and it's delightful opening my screen to a new, randomized wallpaper every so often. Some of the designs are a bit contrasting, but there are plenty of options to reduce the appearance of certain patterns. There are plenty of preset color swatches that each wallpaper can choose from, and you're able to even create your own! Overall, very wonderful app that I can't see myself stopping the use of.

This app is unique and I've gotten more use and enjoyment out of it than I anticipated! If you like variety this will auto rotate color palette and pattern combos for you (you can adjust styles and timing), but if you like one combo in particular it will also let you either turn off the automatic rotation and/or download the image(s) directly to your phone. I have the free version and haven't felt the need for upgrade as the app is fairly generous in its complimentary offerings. Very pleased! 👍

I really like this app. It will procedurally generate wallpapers of lots of different patterns. The included palettes are quite good, but I appreciate being able to set my own. I love to lock the palette and have Tapet generate random patterns with my preferred palette. Often, I don't even use them for wallpapers, I'm just using them as novelty-seeking behavior. I really enjoy having access to the premium patterns, and found it to be well-worth the cost.

It's a great app for basic background patterns. So many options. Only issue is, is not staying on the wallpaper I apply. It's channing every time i wake up the screen. Some people may love that but not what I want. I changed to a wallpaper from a other app and it's reapplying random ones for this app. I see no way to turn that off. I'll have to Uninstall the app, I guess. Still it's a cool app if you like basic pattern backgrounds that change often.

If you love abstract wallpapers like i do then you don't need to look for the perfect app anymore because Tapet is here ! This is the best of the best ! So easy to use and so intuitive. Totally free to use. The wallpaper patterns and colour mixings are totally insane ! No ads here by the way so that makes it more sweet ! Try it to believe ! This is a 10 star app !

I love the quality of the wallpapers this app generates, however it should be noted that it is resource intensive, so really low end phones might have some problems. The only reason why I took off a star is because I can't seem to edit the location where the generated image is stored. If I figure it out I'll definitely adjust my review. Great app.

Beautiful app! Tapet is one of the only apps that I bought the premium of because I just couldn't resist myself from the patterned aestheticity that the wallpapers carry. Thanks, dev! I hope you add more unique patterns in the future! Love it! Also, please add "Grainy" overlay, it is whats's missing right now.

Issues: doesn't always set a new wallpaper on the chosen automatic interval; sometimes creates a discrepancy between the home screen and lockscreen; your website (tapet.app) doesn't work; no official direct APK available with off-Google premium purchase, for use without Google Play installed (also check out Accrescent(.app) app store); when browsing examples of a pattern, the preview generation isn't parallelized, and uses excessive resolution downscaled with artifacts. Otherwise, great app!

This app is totally worth getting! 🤩 I seriously love this wallpapers app; it makes my home screen ✨ and lock screen 📱 look so beautiful. 😍 So glad I got it! ❤️

missing one needed feature. would love an option to blacklist wallpapers. some are kind of ugly and when they popup I gotta change them.

5/11/25- Still...a must have on my phone. 3/20/23-This app is a absolute must for my phone. The new sorting options are perfect, thanks for adding it. 6 years later.. Still being updated and still running great!

Really, a lot to pay to make wallpaper out of 93 of my own photos. No not taken by camera mostly. Things I have screenshot&shopped and changed. Some just abstracts created from art apps then chopped. Some failing to be fractal, others succeeding. What do images get used for once uploaded? It just seems stupid to pay for access to your own work. I think I will put it in deep sleep. I know you cannot punish an app for not being what you want and free but that would be great if you could?!

Again stopped changing wallpapers according to the set interval. Useless again.

Using this app since years on all my devices. Paid lifetime premium as well. Now the wallpapers don't change on their own as per the interval I have set. I have to manually change it. Despite giving all the new permissions. The new patterns and combinations are ugly, not at all the sleek looking ones for which I paid for this app. No updates to fix the broken design. I'm already looking for an alternative to this. Disappointing!

On v.8.43 - I'm liking all the sweeping changes introduced in the latest update. The UI has gone in the right direction. Wallpapers visual depth and element contrast have improved treatment over the previous style. New colour schemes are also good, but still the overall numbers of schemes are less. I see that some of the old patterns have not returned (at least not yet). The only downside with the new version is that Wallpaper Effects are ALWAYS applied and not at random times like previously.

Unique. As far as I know, there is no alternative app to this. I wish it had a leather‑like pattern.

The app is phenomenal at generating unique wallpapers with a plethora of colors and patterns. It's defining feature is the random generation so I am not sure why people are judging this app based on not having a static selection! You can still customize colors, patterns and the new themes to get a look tailored just for you. I have been using it for years now and it is truly the best app for cool wallpapers.

It has good wallpapers, and a good interface. You can download and save wallpaper and make your own ones too from their patterns and colours. However, the wallpapers don't set to the lock screen (you would have to save it and set it manually for that) and it sometimes randomly changes. Sometimes, it only shows half of the wallpaper.
