Good app in general, but in the nutrition section, y'all forgot to put how much caffeine something has, where applicable. This would be very useful for those sensitive to it or get a benefit from it as a way to control how much they get, such as adding or lessening the amount as needed. Add this to the nutritional info, and I think this app will be perfect.👍
Best place to find quick, tasty, easy, and a great variety of meals. This is my favorite app to use during the week. I love that you can shop through Walmart right through the app and it still gets delivered, scheduled for pick up, or whatever you need. I have found ways to make the meals faster by using pre-made foods, like garlic naan from Trader Joe's instead of making my own from scratch, and buying pre-cooked chicken or steak strips, and the meal is still delicious and is homemade.
this app offers tons of recipes with varying levels of difficulty. The only downside is the rotation of recipes as you scroll. you won't always open up to something new, especially if you use this app every day. There are thousands of recipes, though. And I love that people can comment and offer tips for others using the recipe!

Hello! I'm a foodie who needs to cook more in the kitchen than eat out. This app has been helpful in achieving that goal. The cart integration with Walmart is super awesome and convenient! An enhancement I'd like to see is the ability to save and modify recipes, create and track meal plans, and generate a "grocery style" checklist so that I check check items I have at home off within the app, as opposed to exporting the list and managing it elsewhere. Hopefully, in the near future!
I love the recipe collections that the app has like 44 easy three ingredient recipes. I also like the variety of content. However, the thing I like most of all is the unlimited amount of favorites I can have!!! Yay! However, with that said, I would like to see more of a variation in desert flavors. Cookies and cream seems to be a little over done.
Once i saw this, i couldnt believe my eyes. This is the best food app ever. One suggestion though... Add a catagory option for dishes from different countries, personalities, and religions. There should also be widgets for daily meals and dishes. Lastly, you should be able to use tools to find dishes in a catagory you choose (like nutrients, carb, foods, etc. This can help people with diets. Overall, this is literally the best food app. But needs some more features.
ALWAYS READ THE TIPS FOR EACH RECIPE!! I can't stress that enough! Always read the tips section because people that have already made that recipe might have discovered errors with the original recipe or they have tweaked it to be perfect! Love the ability to make a shopping list with each recipe. Would love to be able to export the list to other grocery list apps, though...because I don't always shop at Walmart for food. Easy recipes w/videos! Always hungry after looking at this app! 😂👩🍳👍
This app seems amazing so far (I haven't used it much yet) but the sign-up/log in process seems a little glitchy. I keep trying to sign up for an account with Google, so I can save recipes, but it keeps saying 'not found'. Please fix this so I can enjoy your app! It also could be good to add an option to sign in with email, for those who would rather not use their Apple/Facebook/Google accounts. Edit: you guys are awesome
It used to be a fun app. I had a ton of recipes saved, then it started logging me out automatically, which was annoying, but now I can't even log in at all. Whenever I go to login I'm taken to a sign up page instead with none of the typical 'already have an account?' options. Whenever I try to sign up again with my account I get an error. It appears there's no way to currently log back in as you'll just be forced to keep making new accounts.
A lot of these recipes are a hit or miss. It's great for getting idea, but some of the recipes are missing something. For example: I tried this recipe for bbq chicken nuggets that only used chicken, bread crumbs, and bbq sauce. It sounded like great, but the breading didn't stick to the bbq sauce like in the video and was just really disappointing.
Love the videos. I've noticed on the website there are tips that others have left; these do not display in the app (not that I've found). I wish they would, I've found those helpful. I'm also not sure where the "percentage that would make a recipe again" comes from, as I've found no place to leave a review or indicate this. One other suggestion would be the ability to make personal notes on a recipe. For example, we have a convection oven, and sometimes I've found my cooking times vary.
I really love the look of the app and the fact that it has so many different choices. Likke if your vegan or if you want to make something in 20 min or less. It also had a comment section on the food so people can rate it and tell you how it taste with other things mixed with it which can give u really great ideas. The thing i like the most is you can keep recipes u want to make later and it will put it in the collum of either a drink, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, and dessert.
Love this app... cannot name much for change. Lots of recipes and most are straight to the point without someone droning on about their cooking prowess or the like where i need to skip through 5 minutes of video to see how it's prepared. Sometimes ingredients fly by so I have to pause; occasionally it's sped up a little...a challenge to understand what needs done, but rarely. Tasty has many things from the quick and simple to more elaborate meals. Something for everyone, really.
I really enjoy this app for showing me new recipes! I love that there's videos to help show and follow along. My only complaint is that the instructions are not geared towards someone who is new(er) to cooking/baking. They are written as if you already have some knowledge and will know what to do. They need to be more explainatory instead of ultra simplistic. I'm not saying they are hard to follow, but it may confuse some who don't already know certain terminology or can decipher from videos.
Really creative and diverse food options. I've tried out more than a few recipes on here with happy results! That being said, some of the recipes are kinda whacky, and most recipes you'll find have tips in the comments that 'fix' the recipe (as in some recipes might be missing a dash of something to make it pop). Overall though, I use this every week and have had it for over a year, so I can wholeheartedly say it's an amazing app for cooks and bakers alike.
I usually go online for recepies but they never come out the same. I enjoy this app very much because it shows visuals how to make it without all that talking, the ingredients are below, they can order the ingredients you need from your closes grocery store. Plus it's all easy you think, you would have to be a pro to make Chicken Cordon Bleu but no it's too easy, I feel like I can open a restaurant.
I love Tasty recipes and was excited to get the app but there's a few things I'd like to see improve: so far the only dietary restriction option button is vegetarian. No mention of diabetic, celiacs, vegan, lactose intolerant or any other restrictions. Also, it would be nice to be able to categorize and organize my favorites tab, otherwise I could save these in facebook saved collection or youtube playlist easier. If they change these would be a solid five for me. >Update didn't address these
Love it! I cannot wait to make the Earl Grey Blackberry Cake. It looks divine! You can save recipes so that your favorites or ones you want to try are right there. It has loads of different categories to search for recipes in and you can type in key words or ingredients to find a good recipe. A feature I would love to see is being able to exclude recipes with specific ingredients. Y soon and I, both have different food allergies.
I've made a 4 week rotating meal plan. Tasty allows you to not only find good recipes, but to add the ingredients to you bag and check out with Walmart. With Wal-Mart's app, I add a week's worth of food to a "week 1(2,3,4)" wishlist, and I can quickly add all of that week's groceries to my cart, at the touch of a button. This has dramatically reduced the stress of meal prep and cooking. Now I just have to figure out how to keep a clean kitchen..
This app has tons if interesting & delicious receipes. But there are a few things that need to be addressed. One, the calorie count for most of the dishes are not listed. Two, they are almost always family sized, serving 4+ people. Doing the math to make a portion for 1 person can be annoying or difficult. Add auto conversion ! Three, there are "compilation videos" that showcase multiple ways to use one ingredient. However, the receipes shown often dont have their own pages. Overall 7.5/10
