Taxi Hreyfill

I did get an Icelandic sim card in the airport so I used this with no issue. Needed a ride from hotel to car rental place (and then the reverse), ride was confirmed in like 30 seconds, driver arrived 5 min later. Very nice car, nice driver. There are problems with the map functionality - it freezes and you can't scroll to track your driver. Otherwise I definitely recommend this.

This beta does the bare minimum. You can book a taxi, after that, you're in God's hands. No updates, no taxi location or etc. You have to blindly trust it's coming. App doesn't confirm the cost before you book. So this Android App needs some work, the Apple version seems much more mature. Taxi arrived, though in a different location to what the App translated my pickup location to. Driver and service is good though 👌

useless app doesn't allow sign in if you dont have a local number.

Worked for me although I had reservations based on previous reviews. Login was a breeze after inputting my Belgian number which I validated with a coded text. Booked two rides in advanced and both went off without a hitch; driver arrived on time and took me to my destination.

They told us a set amount for a taxi over the phone and then changed the amount when we arrived at our destination, when we argued about the price we were told he threatened to phone the police! We called the taxi company while in the car and the operator 100% lied and said that the price she gave "me" was an estimate and not a set price but at no point did she say the price was an estimate. To prove she was lying she said that she had spoke to me, when In fact she had spoken to my male partne

Horrible app. Whoever designed this should pay back the work put into it. It needs a verified phone number to ask for a taxi. I go ahead and put my number in, get the code and then nothing changes. Can't get past the address fields. Hannaðu betra app í guðanna bænum. Þetta er vandræðalega lélegt og illa hannað.

Unfortunately I cannot use the app at all, as the SMS confirmation code never arrives. I have a US phone number, so that may be why, but I hope at some point this issue will be resolved so I can use this new app.

Horrible app. It just never works. Always connection problems. And when I did call them and told them about it they got mad and did not listen.

Poor App, keeps loosing connection, tried to make a booking but after 30 minutes it has still not been confirmed, pretty much useless.

Can't input my precise location, have to use predetermined addresses that don't cover the whole city. No way to see if a taxi is coming my way or not after I input the address.

You are a taxi service. However, you do not accept international phone numbers for registration for an account? So you don't want tourist business is what you're saying?

Such garbage, never works. Any connection issue throws you out of the app. The Beta version wouldn't even launch.

App needs a team to overall it. It doesn't work with any phone. VERY POOR to be the ONLY taxi app in Reykjavík

Impossible to use with a foreign phone number. I don't receive any sms of confirmation.

Does not work at all, even if you order taxi they sometimes show up in 1 hours late 🙄

Could not book a taxi with this app. It has every feature except the part where taxis can be booked

Worthless app. Requires Icelandic phone number, not very useful for getting business for tourists.
