The whole system could really do with fixing. It used to work adequately with the school being able to message, sometimes the message would be broken up into sections as if there was a character limit on it. Lately however the app is happy to tell you there's a message but trying to actually access it is near impossible! If the message fits into the first 3 preview lines then you're in luck but if you need to click on it to expand there's no chance!

Doesn't store card details or offer a Paypal option, so you have to add your full card details every time you pay. Recently they updated their software and now it won't allow me to pay at all and am in arrears; I just get an error message when I enter cardholder name. This has happened to lots of other parents. There are better systems out there for school payments.

Often crashes (including website being down at times) which can be frustrating when trying to book lunches and clubs. The app lunch choices clear if come out of the tab before submitted the weeks choices, which makes choosing the lunches from a menu mote like a complicated memory game if you have a fussy child who doesn't just have main meal x 5. It also doesn't show the choices you have saved, making it hard to go back and check/edit choices.

The App quite often freezes. I can see the summary message but when looking in detail it goes to an old message from Oct 2016. If the signal is not great I receive an sms instead so 2 different places for messages not great. I'd like to uninstall the app, but there's no way to take my phone number off so I miss the messages going to the app. Which means I've got to areas for messages, the app sometimes shows them, not reliable at all. Please fix and show me how to de-link my number from the app.

Would like some improvements to the usability to improve as SMS is better for parents perspective but understand the cost impact for schools 1. When the school sends URLs you cannot click the links. 2. It would be useful that when you have multiple messages instead of replacing with the newest on the notification bar you could do multiple notification messages you can swipe off. 3. messages seem to quickly get archived. Would be nice to keep older messages for reference on my local device.

Challenging! It does what it needs to but is one of thoes apps that you have to work it out too much For example if you want to see what your child is having for dinner you don't go to "dinners" you go to "history" because you made the decision a few weeks ago. However turns out you can see you have a dinner booked but not what it is! Am I meant screen shot all my kids dinners for future reference?

The general app is good, however payment system seems to have design issues. For example, I am trying to buy something in the basket after adding my card details, I then get this small popup with my bank name and Mastercard check with a submit button, even though I have authorised to pay in my banking app, the popup screen just stays there, I click on Submit and nothing happens!! Also, It would be good to be able to save the card details, considering it is such a bad UI, I'm tired of retrying!

Update 24/9/18: Still absolutely shocking, no notifications for any of the many messages that we missed during the last week. Both my wife and I were sent 4 notifications yesterday by the school and not a single notification was displayed. Upon opening the app today, the 4 messages were there. The message that they sent by carrier pigeon was delivered without any issue.

Really poor app, buggy and not very user friendly. Crashes often and today is a prime example: "Oops! We're sorry, but the system has encountered a serious error and cannot continue. Our team has been alerted to the issue. View Details Reload Application"

Useless app. Constantly crashing when trying to pay which means we miss out on After school clubs which we rely on for work. I can't even log in online as it says it doesn't recognise my email address which is linked to the account. Really stressful when the idea is to make booking more convenient.

Until recently this worked ok but now like so many others I can't see the details behind messages that arrive and it takes me to very old messages. I am unable to scroll so it's pretty useless and I'm missing important messages as they are not coming in via normal text either. I have raised a support query at the company so hope they can fix it

The app seems to achieve... Nothing??? It displays pointless options at best, and has no provisions for paying for anything even though it implies you manage school payments via the app. So you have to go to the actual website instead. That defeats the object of the app surely?

Very poor customer service, there's no way for parents to raise a support ticket without contacting the school. Trying to do an urgent payment for tomorrow and the payment system throws a system error and asks me to "contact support," which they don't let me do. This is happening to many parents both in the app and online. What a joke!

Absolutely useless, nothing works. I use it for messages between two separate schools, none of the options when clicking on each school works. I'm lucky if I get to see a preview of the first line of a text message from school, I can never see a full message. I can see a preview but further than that it just shows a blank screen. Cannot see any other information like term dates etc. The schools have chosen to rely to rely on this app to contact instead of letters or emails. Ridiculous.

Was working exactly as advertised for months. Then started having problems. First one of the schools dissappeared. Reinstalling didnt help. In the end school reset my number from their end. Now I can only see messages from 2015!! No amount of reinstalling has rectified. I am receiving messages but when open app to view, shows old messages and cant scroll down.

Don't seem to be working. As others have said I now get notification of a message but when I click on message it comes up with very old/first ones received back in 2017 and I'm unable to scroll screen to see recent messages. Theres no option to delete old messages so I'm unable to read. Also I've noticed I'm getting messages with #NAME instead of my childs name and I have 2 kids in school so don't know which it relates to. not the best app. Think I'd prefer to receive text messages

I'm having the same problem as many others. The message screen freezes and I can't scroll down to the most recent messages. I've tried uninstalling and installing again, but the same problem occurs and now I'm missing things. Like many parents I rely on this thinking it would be so much easier than text messages. Rubbish that such a widely used app is so bad.

I have been having problems with the App recently. When the school send a message, I can't load the full message, and once I click to read, it takes me back to very old messages, where I can't scroll up or down. An app to duplicate a website is great if it can save time. Unfortunately the app doesn't remember payment details so I end up using the website for most things. It has no concept of multiple children having similar needs. For example, I can book both kids into a club but one will fail afterwards as there was only one space. Having one booked into after school club is worse than neither. This confuses the school and me. Good ides but incomplete.

everyone seems to be having the same problem. downloaded this app so I can keep all my school texts in one place as I'm quite forgetful. message pops up to notify you but when you click on the messages it just takes you back to old messages and you cant open them. so I'm missing out on everything as you cant deregister your number and I know longer receive texts as i signed up to this. pointless app. dont use it.
