"no activity recorded" you cannot rely on this app to track your activities. you buy a +2k bike, connect it to the app, do 1h exercise. at the end, randomly, maybe it logs, maybe it doesn't. it seems to be related to it losing internet comnection for a bit - but it doesn't know how to reconnect? who are these devs? and the customer care never replies your feedback.
I only use it to enroll in classes at my gym, and for that the MyWellness app, which we used before, is so much better. This is slow, clunky, unintuitive, and prone to errors. It sends reminders about events AFTER the events are over. When I set a reminder to be notified when an event is open for booking, I normally don't end up getting any notification at all. Can't even change my profile pic.
Wait 60 seconds for the app to open, scan the QR code, it logs in.. eventually. Do the workout, then log out. It should save the exercise in the app. but no, it decides to completely forget the work out. So you go to manually add it, search the machine name and it says it doesn't exist. I WAS JUST USING THE EQUIPMENT. but no, it will not let you add it manually.
First, the app just doesn't work, as it won't sign in to equipment. I keep getting an error message saying that the equipment I'm on doesn't exist and I should try logging into something else. Besides that, I tried to create a training program for myself. It's really been a pain, app is not user friendly. I find the ui design clumsy and non-intuitive. Audio issues - audio ques pause background music, or sometimes starting a workout lowers the music's volume. BreakTime pause when not on the app.
I've used Technogym for a while. This new update is riddled with issues. Have had 3 different machines malfunction in the same gym session. Worst of all is that even when they are not malfunctioning, they try to get me to sign up for the app mid-workout. The screen goes black with a small x you have to hit to close it. This will often happen randomly multiple times throughout my run. DO YOU THINK THAT WHILE I AM SPRINTING AT 12 MPH IT IS THE BEST TIME TO GET ME TO SIGN UP FOR AN APP?? IT ISN'T.
I want to like the app. It tracks the cardio machines. Has helpful articles. But that's all it does for me. The Workout program feels like a joke. To my knowledge, you can't edit the sets/weights to reflect a more appropriate routine. It lags out often where it doesn't count my workout or changes it up when i have to restart. Suggestion: add edits to the workout routine and explain the routine. Why that many sets and weight? Why this machine?
The MyWellness App was much better. This app doesn't even capture half my exercises. Tonight, it captured my wide grip pull-ups, tricep dips, and crunches. It did not give me credit for the 545 moves I earned on the Run Excite, and, yes, I logged in to the machine. As my gym prepares for the Ultimate Challenge, every move counts. Every move should be counted. This app is the opposite of intuitive. It does not function well. Another example is the Easy Line Circuit. Well, I'm out of characters.
Their treadmill at the gym now won't even show you the full stats unless you have this app installed and log in. It also often puts a full screen advertisement for this app on the treadmill so if you're doing a routine you can't see what's next, how long, etc. The pop up won't close for about a minute no matter how often you hit the x button. This app makes the treadmill experience worse
Pretty useless to be honest. I connected to the rowing machine in my gym to track my interval workout stats and all the app shows after the session is total time and distance. No average pace, no average stroke rate or anything. The rowing machine itself shows more detailed stats that I can photograph to write down manually. Also it only imports my completed activities from Garmin but doesn't export the machine tracked workouts to Garmin. So I don't see any sense in using this app.
pretty good. really easy to accidentally swipe out of an active custom workout for it to end the workout with no way to continue or edit it after it was ended. theres also an error when in an active custom workout, when you click into a specific exercise - the swipe to delete suggestion comes up every single time.
The app works well overall, but the Samsung Health integration is still visible in the settings even though it is no longer supported. This led me to spend significant time troubleshooting an issue that was not actually a technical problem. It would be helpful to either remove the option or clearly mark it as deprecated to avoid confusion for other users.
This app is mediocre at best. The fitness programs seem to stick to a lot f the same exercises, E.g. 3 lots of calf raises in one session is a bit much from a variety point of view. Most recently it has stopped moving on from a session so I have been stuck on day one of a prescribed programme for the last fortnight despite logging the session numerous times. If you add exercises into a session it asks if you want to save them and if you press yes in gives you an error message. Use AI instead
Genuinely a great app! I really enjoy using it. My only issue is the weight input for workouts. They are limited and change between exercises. For example, my gym’s lat pulldown uses 23kg and 27kg, but the app autocorrects to (and only accepts) 25kg or 30kg. I can’t log my actual weights accurately and have to remember how it has been rounded & guess the actual weight every time. Since entering the values is already manual, allowing actual custom values (without autocorrect) would really help.
The app defaults to imperial system instead of the official metric system. The user can only change this setting after having onboarded, having to convert their height and weight from metric to imperial in order to progress. Once that's done the option to change the system is not easy to find. My suggestion: let the user specify the system when they're onboarding. Or even better, every time they enter a value.
App seems a little Buggy as sometimes it is not possible to see a workout which has been added to a set without closing and reopening the app. it is also far too easy to delete a workout by mistake (this is done by swiping with no confirmation) and there is no way to restore a deleted workout. This should be addressed asap as it is not possible to recreate an aerobic exercise without actually repeating it
Privacy and un-necessary data collection: the new version forces users to enable location. The app is unsatisfied by approximate location and requests precise location and bluetooth in order to let users use equipment. This information is un-necessary to collect and analyse. Location requirement request should be removed in your next update. The app also keeps track of any bluetooth device the user connected to in the past 7 days. I scanned QR code. It does not work without EXACT LOCATION
I previously reported that the app was not working, but I’ve since discovered the issue was caused by my gym’s Wi-Fi network. When I switched to using my mobile data connection, the app worked as expected. This was my mistake, and I wanted to correct my earlier comment.
Inconsistent app, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Not user friendly, very hard to navigate and enter data to track workouts and exercise. Needs significant work to make it useful, falls short atm.
latest update forces location and Bluetooth to be on for machine QR sign in. Absolutely no need for these. Worked fine and was consistent before the update. Default response from team is that it is for "stability improvements" - poor excuse. It's data harvesting plain and simple
I don't like that it is really difficult to use machines in my gym without logging into an app. The bike keeps popping up with the login so I am constantly clicking the cross to go back to the stats page.
