The communication between this app and the car is the worst. I asked for 100% charge SO many times and it kept resetting to 85% eventually it didn't. I wake up and it's at 85%. I have 20 minutes before I leave. So I ask it to charge some more. I look back 5 minutes later. It's not charging. FFS!

Still using Samsung Note 10+ and some of these comments with newer phones, I don't get as many issues. Yeah, it sometimes takes a while for clips to load, and cameras don't activate or pixelated at times. It works most of the time. Sometimes, I have to awaken my device in order to unlock the door when I pull on the handle. Other than that, a great app works like the BMW App, with more features and services. So much information at your fingertips.

I would like to suggest an option be added to the Scheduled Departure function. Currently one can schedule a departure time for either "All week"or "Weekdays". I would like to see a button added for "One time". There have been a number of times that I've set a departure time that I expect to use only once, and then forgot turn it off. Until I notice it, the car will unnecessarily pre-condition itself at that time every day.

The new in-app messaging is nearly unusable. 1. No matter what, the app constantly tells me I have unread messages from the service team, even after I have read them. 2. When typing, the keyboard covers the region where you type. You cannot see what you are typing. 3. When you click "messages" it takes a long time to load. Please let us use our phone's default texting again like before.

The app has a lot of bugs. When it's functioning properly, it is amazing how much insights it offers about our vehicle and the energy flow to and from our solar system and battery. But it is buggy. Currently the home screen for the solar system is so zoomed in that I can't see the energy flow. It is adjusting to normal but at a snails pace. Other times it doesn't show the energy flow to and from different sources. I just altogether gave up relying on its accuracy

I'm sending them a feature request for the App notifications. It tells me about extreme weather events, but doesn't notify me about the most important thing - when the powerwall is down. I just noticed that someone turned off the outside power switch. It's been off for over a month and I was running my AC during the heatwave like an idiot thinking I was on solar. The powerwall crashed and needed to be replaced a couple of months before. I didn't notice that for a couple of weeks. Notify me!

So disappointed with the recent update. Old version was so clean and easy to understand. New version can't connect when I have a cellular connection, says "no connection to the internet" when I actually do. I lost the ability to track power outages. Apps and data load more slowly. I do like how the main screen now shows home power usage instead of having to click once to see it. I think that's the only improvement. App is perfectly functional when connected to Wifi, so I guess I'll give 2 star

You kinda have to have it if you drive a Tesla. For the most part it is amazing. However it could be a bit more user friendly to reach the top 5 features quickly. Like open the doors or frunk. Try that with one hand while carrying some groceries and you see what I mean. Or unlocking the charge port? Also it is annoying that the car won't recognize your phone from time to time. I am sure this app could do a lot more. I.e. show your last played songs. See/modify your favorite play lists.

Great App. It has everything I need in one app. I can access features in my car with ease, protect its battery, set security with minimum button interaction, also handy when you need your insurance card and insurance coverage, and lots more. Comes in pretty handy when you get old like me. One time after leaving a concert, I forgot where I parked my tesla and use the app to find it. Easy peasy. The app also gets updated constantly to make it even better.

Maybe if these reviews are on point. The app is great!!...... But Android is bugging, or at least inconsistent and slow. There's also features that I read "are available" but then I realize that it's only available on IOS For me I want to see my at home charging stats, but can't do that unless I check the car right after charging. If I don't check right after and try to charge again -- poof -- data "gone" Really sucks to have less data in what is essentially the beta of electric cars.

Good app, works well most of the time, although sometimes it's slow to connect to the car as the key. I find I have to take my phone out of my pocket and wake up the app before I get to my care to ensure it works right. I appreciate being able to heat or cool my car remotely prior to use, downloading updates remotely, and using summon to back the car out of tight spaces (ie. my garage) for easy access. A great part of the Tesla ownership experience.

The new app is faster & works pretty well overall with connection at decent speed. And finally Widget support! Right now the widget just lets you look at the status not turn on climate or anything. I would like to see it support turning on AC seats and steering wheel heat not just climate (even if it was not on when you last drove). Also I would like to see direct Google Home and Amazon Alexa integration for voice control (instead of 3rd party that you question if you should trust with access).

Messaging with service is a mess- takes way too long to respond and load, and then you can't see what you are typing because it doesn't re-size and the keyboard blocks the entry field. Even better, if someone sends you a message after service ends, you cannot respond to it and it doesn't recognize you read it so you have a permanent "unread message" notification. If you have two Teslas, the damn powerwall advertisement gets in your way if you accidentally swipe the wrong direction. A swipe either way should switch cars, not lead you to an ad that takes seconds to load. Also with two Teslas, it won't work as a key on a Model 3 while you have an S/X unless you are on the correct car in the app, even though the app can't act as a key for an S/X.

Can be buggy at times, but overall works well and is pretty useful and easy to use. It's nice to be able to access your car's settings through the app. My only suggestion is adding the car light settings to your phone, in case you need to access your car's lights ie walking to your car at night. Need to find ur car, or left your car lights on for some reason.

This app is really very useful as a key and gives the stats of the vehicle. It has the VIN of the car, time until charged and current miles left on the battery. I would make 2 suggestions. 1. Being able to set the time to charge the car or time to stop charging. It's possible because it can be started and stopped from within the app. 2. Be able to adjust climate blower speed when turning on climate control from the app. The blower speed will blow at the last manual setting.

Improved over the last few years but still a lot of room for improvement. For instance switching between devices/vehicles is still clunky. Would be nice to get more telemetry from the car. Info for energy saving is misleading and based on unequal comparisons (seems to assume your using a high performance BMW with premium gas for savings for instance). Also trip planning in app then send the plan to car would be nice.

When it's working, it's great. Recently has been increasingly glitchy and it's beyond frustrating struggling to get my car to function. App has been disconnecting from my phone, even while actively driving, and frequently wont recognize my phone as a key. Some functions like auto-lock only work intermittently and I've accidentally left the car unlocked for hours. It has forgotten half of my settings recently. I've ensured the app is updated, as well as the car, but continue to have issues.

The idea is great, but functionality is very lacking. Most of the time it takes WAY too long for the car to "wake up" (frequently longer than the timeout on my phone screen). It just sits and loads for what feels like forever. This is a real inconvenience when you're trying to actually get something done or get your car warmed up/cooled down before you get to it. Often I try, but end up arriving at the car wondering "what was the point of this feature if I can't use it?

In recent months, the app has gotten much worse at waking the car up and allowing me to remotely access functions. Even when the car's connected to wifi or a strong cellular signal, the app often never connects to the car. Also, the 'phone as key' function will also fail when I am at the vehicle. Restarting the phone or toggling Airplane Mode off-on-off usually fixes the problem, but is very inconvenient. This is disappointing because these are new problems in the last 3 years

The app does what it's designed to do, and it seems to be reliable. 5 stars for that. But, it's the GUI of the charge stats that is terrible. More control needed. Most people live with other people, who want you to pay for your KWH. The electricity company doesn't read the meter on the 1st of the month. You have to hold a day to get data from a day, and only while you hold it. Make that clickable. Make the calendar a searchable, like your bank does for transactions. Make the data exportable.
