It is very easy to message the office for routine requests to approve refills for meds. It is easier than calling, being put on hold, leaving a message to speak with the medical assistant about a concern or question, then waiting for that return call. If you miss the return call, you have to start all over. The message system seems more efficient.
I used to be able to make appointments, etc with my cardiologist. Now my cardiologist doesn't even show as a provider anymore and I have to waste time trying to make appointments and other things over the phone. Has gone from something easy using the app to waiting an hour or more on the phone.
the app seems to work well and is easy to navigate. being able to see my actual EKG, xrays, and other documents is great. although, at times, the information is not always complete and requires contacting the physicians that performed the tests in order to get their interpretation of the complex charts and numerous test results. i.e. my blood work gives "abnormal" results for specific measurements but does not give information about why/what/how to improve those results and my health.
I have been seeing my same doctor for 35 years. I am thankful that I have a wonderful doctor who knows me and my medical records. She is a truly wonderful doctor, and I hope to continue to see her in the future. This app works great for me to connect with my schedule and my family doctor. I am happy with this app.
Highly recommended, can usually see test results before you even hear from your doctor. Seeing upcoming appointments is simple, gives all the details you need, gives you the ability to add events to your phone Calendar so you can easily keep up with your appointments in your busy home schedule. and many more perks.
They say there is billing information and payment history but there isn't. And payments made through this app came out of my bank account but don't show up in billing so I got a back-dated bill today for $1000 since 2018, all of it stuff I paid. The system integration with accounting software is hopelessly broken and I probably have to go to court now. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
After a quick and successful log in, 90% of the time when trying to get to my messages or get test results, all I get is "web page not available". Very frustrating. when it does work, its good.
I'm always having problems getting to my info, messages, etc. It says my app has been removed or they are working on it or Im not connected to the internet. I have saved my password, etc. 3 times so I dont have to enter the info, it worked a few times then started saying my app had been removed, etc. Again! Maybe the other affiliated specialists messages are causing a problem. I dont know. Very frustrating!
Easy to navigate, one stop spot for medical needs. Everything from your meds, doctor visits, lab results, and more. You can schedule appointments and even opt in for a waiting list to get to your provider faster. If you have a busy life, this app will help you. You can seek med refills , or send the nurse a message with questions about your health. Simply put, this app ROCKS 🙂
I try to use My Chart very often. It confuses me. I'm up in my years & not very internet savvy. I have to use my smart phone bc I don't own a computer. Sometimes I can use MyChart with no problems. Other times it's as if MyChart has updated & I'm totally lost. It's not fun getting old, especially in this internet world.
This is a very informative app. So much useful information. My only complaint is when you have a procedure scheduled you get 2 phone calls a week wanting to do a cost estimate and preregistration maybe 2 months in advance. During the message it leaves on your phone it states you can go to my chart and do the cost estimate and preregistration. You can do the cost estimate but not the preregistration. The states a specific app in my chart to accomplish this however that app does not exist until 1
Too complicated and slow connectivity. I can access my bank account easier with a password and pin. The access code download is difficult to maneuver using just a Cell phone. Once in the app, trying to find the information is time consuming and where is the menu. I'm not a nurse or doctor and I don't have a medical degree so understanding the codes and acronyms is useless. I'm also dyslexic, left handed and color blind in right handed and color filled world. You asked, so here you go.
It's ridiculous that each time I login I have to get a text or email validation. Half the time I'm logging in on behalf of my spouse to get results or get referral info. It's ridiculous to go through so much. You're not even notified when there's a message. Not a well thought out app and not to user friendly for elderly.
Possibly the worst app I've ever downloaded. The only way to enter your birthday is scroll back, one month at a time, to the day you were born. In my case, that is over 600 taps. And you can't just hold it, you have to tap for every month. Then when I set up my account and tried to login, it would let me. I used the username and password I'd just saved. This is worthless. Don't waste your storage.
The PC version is fine. The app version crashing when I tried create account for my wife. Looking at my account on mychart app many things available on the PC mychart are missing, or I am unable to find them. It just annoying to use. Dumbing down to run on the phone just doesn't work.
This app, as well as the website, continues to tell me I have entered the wrong username or password when I have not. I have reset my password several times like it has asked, and it says the same thing. Now it says that I have proceeded with the maximum login attempts and need to reset my password in order to log back in. So I did that, and it's still saying the same thing. I called customer service for help, and they told me everything at their end looks correct, and they can't help me.
The My Chart App shows upcoming schedule test , immunization record, messages to and from Doctor / patient. Easy to request Refills and to schedule appts. Great to see test results with my Doctor's assessments. Plus lots more Information on specific medical needs. The My Chart App helps keep you in semi-direct contact with your Doctor. Again, all of these and much more at your fingertips.
I cannot believe the idiotic UI to set up an account. In order to enter my birthday (mandatory foeld), the only entry method is to start at the current month and manually tap the Previous arrow over 700 times (and, no, I cannot just hold the arrow down to speed through the months). It even says you must be 15 years old, but still starts at today's date and not 180 months ago.
Great App! Easy to navigate. This app allows me to communicate by chat with my doctors, it's very easy to request refills, and I can add or remove medications as needed. It maintains a complete history of my meds, my appointments, my past surgeries, and much more. I highly recommend this app.
Whatever recent update was done now makes the app unusable. I only get the option to "Sign Up" or "Click here to login with your Texas Health account", which prompts me to login via a browser (defeating the whole purpose of getting the app). I called the help phone number and they essentially said "yup, guess you don't need the app then"
